I booked a hotel, but when I requested for the refund based on the policy, they refused it without explanation! I contacted the hotel management and I told them please remove this company from your partners, because they are not helpful at all, management will check this for the fraud/scam.
Based on the reviews this company refundable.me do not provide a refund to anyone.

I used Refundable.me expecting a legitimate, transparent refund process, and my experience has been the opposite. Their policies look straightforward on the surface, but once you submit a claim, everything becomes unclear, slow, and frustrating.
They repeatedly asked for documentation that is impossible or inappropriate to provide, including sensitive information they should never request—especially in cases involving U.S. military orders. Despite submitting valid, official travel documents, they continued to push for more unnecessary paperwork while ignoring what was already provided.
Their communication feels scripted, dismissive, and unhelpful. At no point did they show any understanding of or respect for how military travel actually works. Based on my experience, this company is not U.S. military friendly at all, despite their wording implying otherwise.
Even when the hotel and booking platform confirmed details, Refundable.me still refused to move forward. The process feels designed to delay or discourage legitimate claims rather than help customers.
This service advertises itself as a safety net, but in reality it feels like a roadblock with no real intention to issue valid refunds. I strongly caution anyone—especially service members or families dealing with sudden orders—to avoid this company.
If your travel is time-sensitive, work-related, or military-related, Refundable.me is NOT the company to rely on.

This seems to be a scam. I don’t even realize why pay for cancellation insurance if their conditions cover everything under the sun NOT to pay you.
I couldn’t make the trip for relocation reasons. They took my money and the money I paid for the insurance.
Each company who aligns with them should disengage with them or they also will eventually go down.
I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about them. It’s too bad. They should have a major case against them and be sued.
EDIT: I was emailed by the manager and they have decided to pay half of by money back.

They are a scam. After purchasing their flight insurance for a flight my senior dad had for his cancer treatment and having an emergency his dr even send a signed letter for they refused to refund but ask for our banking information and continually gave some windy run around and finally agreed to a partial refund (though we bought insurance for a full refund). They insisted on sending his personal banking details through their forum that never had a place for it in the first place. I will never use any site affiliated with them again and I can’t say a single good word about them. They are 100% without question a scam and need to be reported.

I was relocated to the NT for work for 2 months and even though their refundable tickets say 'Refundable for work relocation,' the tiny tiny fine print (that is almost impossible to find) says the relocation must be permanent. TOTAL SCAM.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would.
*EDIT 20/11: After reading all the reviews, I decided to leave my own and also emailed their customer service (email provided on this page) explaining how frustrating this experience has been, especially given my current circumstances. I received a response about four hours later confirming that my refund had been approved, and can confirm the funds have already reached my account. I’m relieved it’s been resolved, but it’s disappointing that people have to go through such a stressful process to get an outcome that should be straightforward.

I bought two tickets to the AC/DC concert on 21 November in Sydney. Unfortunately, my partner was recently diagnosed with a brain lesion and is currently undergoing an MRI. His doctor provided a letter stating she does not recommend he attend the concert. As his primary carer, I can’t attend without him.
Despite this, Refundable Me refused the claim because the doctor wrote “he was diagnosed last week” instead of listing the exact date, even though the letter itself was dated and clearly recent. I also included two additional documents: the MRI referral showing the exact date and a referral to a specialist (which are highly confidential ). What more do they need?
The concert is tomorrow. There is absolutely no way to get another GP appointment on such short notice. Yet they still rejected the claim.
This service is HORRIBLE. Do not waste your money on the extra fee, it is completely useless. Not only am I now losing $500 during an already stressful and emotional time, but their lack of empathy and rigid, unreasonable requirements have made everything even worse.

I’ve been trying to get my refund and have finally advised them that I’m contacting consumer rights, I’ve just read the worst reviews of this company on here. Giving people false sense that their booking is refundable .
I have had physio n Gp is aware of my condition however why do they even need a med cert to refund my £29, will cost me that to get a med cert.
if I was fit to run I would have as I love these events however Ive advised them I’m happy to start an online campaign warning all the running community about mine and others experiences.
There is no number online to call them which is quite frustrating

I had the worst experience with Refundable.me and I want to warn everyone before they waste their money like I did.
I paid EXTRA for their “refund protection” service when I booked my airline ticket. I bought this add-on specifically so that if anything went wrong, I would be covered and able to get my money back. That was the whole point of paying for it.
When I requested my refund, Refundable.me refused to honour the protection I paid for. Their excuse was that they “do not refund tickets bought by accident,” even though my situation had nothing to do with an accidental purchase. My booking was unexpectedly processed through a third-party agency, and I was unable to use the ticket. That is exactly the type of situation refund protection is meant to cover.
Instead of helping, they sent a generic response and immediately closed my case. No proper investigation, no care, no support.
I genuinely feel misled. They advertise a service that sounds protective, but when you actually need it, they do everything they can to avoid paying out. It feels like a complete scam.
I am extremely disappointed and will be escalating this matter legally and through consumer protection channels.
Do not waste your money on Refundable.me they will take your money and refuse to help when you need them most.

We need to be able to give zero stars. DO NOT waste your money purchasing refundable tickets.
I spent $150 extra to have refundable tickets. I fell ill the day of the concert and was unable to attend.
I lodged my application to have my tickets refunded and just received a response saying because I was not examined by a registered medical expert BEFORE the event?
Are we supposed to see a doctor the day before if we are healthy and well just in case we fall sick the next day?
I fell sick on a Saturday afternoon, the concert was in the Saturday night?
Illness is under their ‘covered’ conditions?

Fielded a call from fella in England telling me my application for refund has been approved!
Today I see my bank balance has improved as well.
Thank you Refundable.me ... sort of!
While I expressed my appreciation, I did not miss the opportunity and asked "Why was the process so difficult?"
I pointed out, from personal experience, communication is nowhere to be seen. Forms and questions/acceptable answers are chaotic and unnecessarily convoluted.
Mr Refundable.me promised to bring the matter 'to the attention of the board'.
Thank you Refundable.me and Trustpilot!
The next bit is what prompted and opened an avenue of communication (Trustpilot) - that I found by accident - deep in the text of another's complaint.
10/11/25 I wrote ... COMPTETE LACK OF CUSTOMER 'SERVICE' - DELIBERATE OBSCURATION/INCOMPETENCE - ITS A SCAM
June 25 bought 3 tickets for AC/DC 12 Nov 25 Melbourne show.
Paid extra for "Refundable Tickets".
Refundable.me refund form lists "Illness/Injury (including Covid)" & "Pre-existing medical condition" among 16 acceptable reasons for requesting a refund.
July 25 I'm diagnosed with cancer.
August 25 I find out I'm booked for a major operation October 31st 25.
October 25 I apply for refund.
I am required to present evidence of; (1) Date the medical condition was first diagnosed; (2) Full details of the medical condition; (3) The date you were informed or made aware of the surgery; (4) A medical recommendation confirming that attending the booked event is not possible; & (5) Evidence that you were placed on the surgery waiting list.
I was able to provide all the above requested information.
BUT! That wasn't enough. I had to "Provide this information in a SINGLE MEDICAL NOTE will help us assess your application efficiently and ensure it aligns with our Terms and Conditions".
Even that I was able to provide.
BUT! That still wasn't enough!
(September 25 I had listed the tickets on Marketplace Ticketek for re-sale.)
Now Refundable.me is asking me to confirm if I have sold the tickets.
I ask "Huh???" How am I supposed to do that?" and point out that Ticketek, Refundable.me and Marketplace Ticketek are all in the same company.
I am now sent back to the very beginning of the exercise AGAIN trying to complete their 'forms'.
132 849 Customer "Service" # is a joke. Customer is afforded a 20 second message that simply hangs up!
1300 665 915 Customer "Service" # is also a joke. Customer is warned "this number is for accessible seating inquiries only" and encourages customer "to hang up if call is not related to accessible seating".
I remained on the line for 20 minutes and finally got to speak to someone.
Extracted their promise to call me back.
No call back.
Still no refund or even an inkling of a refund.
Forms are misleading. Terminology chaotic. Severely hampered when attempting to fill out the forms.
Ticketek receipt shows Confirmation #; Order #; Reference #; Customer ID# but the form asks for "Ticket Account #"!
WTF is the "Ticket Account #"??
"Event Name" is yet another difficulty. Ticket says "Event Name" is "AC/DC" ... try to enter "AC/DC" on the form. Customer gets "No Result" and the rest of the fields are greyed out!
HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?
IF THESE CLOWNS ARE SOLICITING MY MONEY UNDER THEIR ADVERTISED TERMS AND CONDITIONS HOW CAN THEY LEGALLY CHANGE THE GOAL POSTS WHEN IT SUITS THEM?

EDIT: after posting this review the company got in contact with me, reviewed my case and accepted my refund request.
Original review: This is my first ever review, only making one because I feel the need to telll everyone to. STAY AWAY!! These guys make the refund process as close to possible as they can. You pay top dollar for their services just to be completely slapped in the face even with legitimate reasoning (such as my recent spinal surgery) when they deny you on stupid basis

I paid for cover for an outing which I was totally looking forward to. Unfortunately I caught a virus, had a temperature, high heart rate, blood pressure and was really poorly. The GP sent me to a and e as I had chest pains and the hospital
diagnosed me with a virus. A week later I am still needing to rest in bed! I sent a copy of the hospital report but this was not enough…saying I needed a further report for a ticket that cost £17!!! What a rip off !!!! I am disgusted and disappointed that this cover is not worth the paper written on.

Bought their so-called “refund protection” for tickets to Westonbirt Arboretum. My daughter couldn’t attend due to flu, and they refused the refund because she didn’t have a doctor’s note. That’s unreasonable: NHS guidance is not to visit your GP with flu (and private notes cost money).
The product is marketed as a fair refund guarantee, but the small print makes genuine refunds almost impossible. It looks and feels like an unregulated insurance product — and there’s an official FCA warning notice about Refundable Ltd, the company behind this setup, stating it may be providing financial services without authorisation.
Refundable.me’s own privacy policy shows they are part of or administered by Protect Group, a UK company that runs similar “refund protection” schemes for events and travel. Protect Group claim they’re “not an insurance company,” but the service behaves like one in that you pay a premium and then make a claim — just without regulation or proper consumer safeguards.
After we escalated the complaint and threatened to report them to the FCA for selling an unregulated insurance-style product, they suddenly reversed their decision and refunded us — at 8:30pm on a Sunday night! That says it all.
If you’ve been refused, don’t give up — mention the FCA and mis-selling, and it appears they’ll back down. Forestry England and other venues should drop this company immediately — it’s misleading, unfair, and risks damaging their reputation. I have also written to Forestry England to highlight that they are sessentially introducing an unregulated insurance sale so ths could massivly damage their reputation.
Avoid Refundable.me / Protect Group and only buy tickets with clear refundable or non-refundable options from a properly regulated provider.

SCAM alert! Avoid buying refundable tickets from Refundable.me — you will not receive a refund, even in case of an accident. This company requests unreasonable documents that you likely won't have.
If you get into an accident, you’ll have to run to the police and try to find documents that you’ll probably never be able to get.
That's ridiculous policy.

Simply exhausting to pay for refundable tickets (for the theatre) to discover that without having to provide more medical details and an extra letter than required for the medical insurance company - you cannot get a refund. They tickets can be sold on. It’s only for matinee performance for children for goodness sake. How can I go to a busy surgeon and ask for a special letter. More than the cost of the tickets and way too much a waste of his time. Far too embarrassing.
I will repeat this review
on Tiketek NZ who also should not have presented the extra payment for tickets to be refundable with no warning of what might be involved.

I booked a round flight through Flighthub and pay extra for their “refund protection”. Two days before my return flight I requested a refund because my father was admitted to hospital with life threatening conditions. I was required to provide all my banking information then they required a doctor’s note, then proof of purchase of their refund protection, then a more detailed doctors note, followed by proof my dad is my dad because our last names differ. Both doctors’ notes listed me as his daughter and his power of attorney and health decision maker. I even went as far as send them a copy of the Power Of Attorney.
There is no address or phone number on their website refundable.me .
This is a complete scam. I have since reported them to the better business bureau and have been in contact with news networks. I will continue to vent until they are shut down.

I havent even been able to get through the form. It says...
We cannot find a booking with that reference. Please check your booking confirmation email and re-enter.
Don't worry, if your booking reference doesn't work you can select 'Find Booking' and enter your details. When completing the form please upload a copy of your booking confirmation email to help us locate your booking details.
I do that, and it says, we need a booking number!!
Ive tried the contact form, and it brings me back to the same place... Ridiculous.

I am writing this as a follow-up to my earlier review regarding my refund request with Refundable.me (Application Reference: DE15673F), which remains unresolved despite months of communication and full compliance with all documentation requirements.
To summarize the timeline for clarity:
October 10, 2025: I received an email from Sarah, confirming that my application had been passed to management for review within five working days.
October 12, 2025: Heidi, from the Customer Experience Team, confirmed that my refund application was under review and that I would receive an update soon.
However, by October 21, 2025, I had received no follow-up. I provided all requested documents and clarifications, yet my claim was eventually denied without clear justification.
The final response I received stated that Refundable.me had already provided the service I purchased and that my application was closed. This conclusion does not align with the Terms and Conditions published on their website, which specifically include:
“Changes to Examination Dates: Means an unforeseen change to the date of an examination for which You were already registered, resulting in a conflict with the date(s) of the Booked Event.”
Refunds are excluded only when the examination is conducted by a commercial business, not by an educational or verification body.
In my situation, the visa application examination was officially rescheduled by the visa centre — a recognized examination body. This unforeseen change directly conflicted with my travel date, and I submitted the official documentation confirming the change, meeting all the evidence requirements under Refundable.me’s own policy.
Despite these facts, my claim was denied. I have consistently maintained that my case falls clearly under the “Changes to Examination Dates” clause and should therefore qualify for a full refund.
Throughout this process, I have experienced long delays, inconsistent communication, and what appears to be a misunderstanding or misapplication of the stated refund terms. My goal is not to criticize unfairly but to highlight that my experience does not reflect the level of transparency or fairness expected from a service designed to protect customers in unforeseen circumstances.
I continue to request a fair and transparent review of my claim and a full refund in accordance with Refundable.me’s published policy and consumer protection standards.
Name: Hadeeb Afolabi

BEWAREEEE The most horrible company and scam I have ever come across. We brought refundable tickets to protect us but what’s the point. My family member went into hospital with a life threatening condition and may not survive. I have even provided intimate photos of us and my family member half dead on the hospital bed and THEY STILL DO NOT WANT TO REFUND! This is such a scam and like everyone on here who say don’t purchase from these guys DO NOT BYE REFUNDABLE TICKETS FROM REFUNDABLE.ME!! They are very unethical and insincere.
Horrible to deal with and Sarah the customer service is asking me to admission papers from hospital? If they knew anything about the country they’re selling to they’d know Australian hospitals don’t provide admission tickets!
Disgusting service and never ever will I get refundable tickets if I see this company!
