The bus driver in Prague didn't let us take the bus saying he can deny us entry without a baby in the car seat. The bus ticket only mentions that it's recommended to have a car seat, not that it's u... See more

People, please, dont travel with this company! The worst trip ever! So rude drivers, treating the people like s...! as like they paid us for a ride and not we paying them! Terrible, terrible! Only flixbus!
People left alone without place and bed despite booking
We had booked a place in the sleeper car from Prague to Przemysl. When the train arrived in Prague, with delay, two cars were missing. So our place did not exist. There were free places in other cars, but no one cared about distributing them among those who had tickets for the missing cars. And passengers cannot know which places are free during the whole trip, only staff knows. People were told to find some place to stand or sit or simply stay in Prague. Mothers with crying children were simply left alone, no one cared. This for people who suffer from the war in their home country (it is a train serving as a connection for the Przemysl - Lviv - Kyiv train). This is not complaining about Czechia!!! As people here are great, caring, helpful and supportive for Ukraine and Ukrainians. It feels great here. But the Regiojet train was simply a shocking, negative and unexpected experience.
Racism at its finest by their staff
I booked a trip for my parents from Netherlands to Germany with Regiojet. This was supposed to be a great holiday for them as they are both elderly and slowly having a hard time travelling due to age so this could be their last holiday by themselves. Both my parents are black and they called me with so much frustration as the staff treated them so much much disrespect, gave snacks to the passengers except my parents and they were so sad. In this day and age where they travel paying their fair and being decent and still, they are treated with disrespect because of their beautiful skin color is sickening. Never using this bus again 🙄
I'm glad I didn't read these reviews first!
Last week, I found myself stuck in Munich in the middle of a long train journey from Switzerland to Prague, due to issues with the trains. I decided to book a bus journey and RegioJet was the cheapest option by quite a margin. I booked in haste and then I read the trustpilot reviews.... oh no I thought, I should have read these first, what have I just signed up for. Well, I am actually glad that I paid first and read second because my experience with RegioJet was excellent. The bus arrived on time, the driver efficiently scanned in our tickets and although he didn't speak to us, he was patient and polite in his manner. The bus was loaded quickly and what I found when I got on the bus was great, comfy seats, a TV in the seatback infront for entertainment, good overhead locker space and probably the cleanest coach toilet I've encountered for a long time. The driving was calm, we reached Prague only slightly later than planned due to traffic and the driver came and collected our rubbish from us at the end of the trip. I would highly recommend this company for bus travel based on my own personal experience. Thank you RegioJet!
DO NOT TRAVEL WITH REGIOJET
1.) The pillow had blood stains on it
2.) The light was missing the switch
3.) The sheet was ripped, and not with a little hole, but with the one so big that there was NO CHANCE of somebody not seeing it
4.) The picture on your website was completely different than our compartment, which is false advertising and illegal!
5.) The guy that was speaking on the speakers spoke ONLY in Czeck, not caring about the non-Czeck speaking passengers. Why the discrimination?
6.) The window handle was broken - almost impossible to open and close it
7.) The compartment overall was very filthy, hair everywhere, one trash was not even emptied
8.) Wi-fi connection was poor, to say the least
9.) There was only one functioning toilet in wagon 11, the other one was out of order (wagon 11 was FULL with passengers)
10.) The blanket had stains
11.) The curtains were disgusting to touch, stained, filthy, just horrible
DO NOT TRAVEL WITH REGIOJET AND DO NOT PAY FOR THE PRIVATE COMPARTMENT!
WE PAID 192 EUROS FOR THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE EVER!
Bad experience ever!
Bad experience ever!!
Our bus was delayed for an hour, and we've got a notice messenger jest 20 minutes before the original time.
More then that, the bus driver was very rude (!!) and forced us to pay 16EUR for our luggage, despite what is written in the tickets. By the tickets each person can bring one small and one big luggage, and if there is free space in the bus we can put our luggage for free. Anyway, we were forced to pay for our small suitcases.. We didn't have cash on us, and the bus driver did not resive card, but still forced us to pay. At the end some nice traveler payed for us in cash and we payed him back by PayPal...
Not recommended!
Regio Jet is super
To travel, I really advice Regio Jet. The Busses are very comfortable and new. The price is very attractive. To travel from Neurenberg to Amsterdam, you do not have to change busses....
To book on their website is horrible. I have tried certain times, my sister to.
Every time after giving in the payments details, the reservation was gone. So we decided to book on the Omio platform. That was super! Directly, we were able to book our trip.
Don't expect what you're promised
They promise great service and hot drink included but the reality is that you may be waiting for four hours on train asking whether you can have a coffee and yet you get off without having had one. I was so desperate on my train from Budapest to Brno to get a hot drink but the staff was serving randomly people taking orders of their meals but didn't care about the rest of the passengers. I tried to ask several times and I was always rejected. Some passengers were served soon after the train left the station of Budapest, even twice but I had the feeling that he was avoiding to ask people if they wanted anything which is included and was giving preference to those who wanted to buy. He had no system in taking orders and didn't even care if someone was there already for three hours without being asked. I went in person to get it but I was sent away saying that the orders will be taken soon but he started again from the beginning of the carriage without ever coming to me. There was very cold air blowing directly on our legs and it wasn't possible to regulate it. It was so upsetting and disappointing. I was traveling alone with a small child but he just didn't care and I suspect he even did it on purpose.
No Dörmi
No A/C, no toys for kids on first class, and they did not have Dörmi.
:(
ridiculously overpriced subpar service
ALWAYS late. on average 20 minutes. i’m not sure how but they managed to be 10 minutes late from the very first station. almost nothing gluten free on the menu and of the few choices almost NOTHING in stock. again from the first station. you can’t control the temperature in the first class cabins. it just bows cold air nonstop. the staff were friendly but everything else was just terrible. the regio jet buses are fine but the trains are ridiculously overpriced for extremely subpar service. never again.
I traveled from Budapest to Vienna on…
I traveled from Budapest to Vienna on 5th Aug in regiojet, it was a very hot day and I took the relax class hoping the air conditioning will be good, but it was as terrible as sitting on a furnace, the entire journey we had suffered and this is the worst travel I have ever made in my entire life, when I reported this to the attendant in the train, she says we have set the AC to the maximum and then loco pilot tells our trains are not made to handle tropical temperatures like today. I do not know how it is in other season, but my personal advice is completely avoid regiojet if you want to travel comfortably
Should be zero stars
Awful company, 10 hours from Budapest to Prague with delays. Air-conditioning does absolutely nothing. One 150ml bottle of water then they ran out and could only buy sparkling water which still took over 2 hours to get. Never again!
Horrible experience
Horrible. I payed for a Relax seat from Prague to Vienna with an AC. It is almost 33° C outside. AC seems to not work as it should be, temperature inside is very uncomfortable and so hot. It is better to stay in a toilet where it is no ac and only an opened window…
Also It is 40min delay…
Hell Train from Prague to Split
I decided to take the train from Prague to Split on 3rd August and right from the beginning there were problems. The train was an hour late leaving and delayed by hours on the journey. In addition I booked a private overnight cabin and the air conditioning was not working. The door would not shut properly and the door constantly rattled all of the time. On top of this there is a ladder in the compartment to get to the top bunks but it was faulty. When I complained to the stewardess she said there was nothing she could do so we were going to be on a train for 15 hours with no air conditioning at 35 degrees. Also every steward/ess is supposed to speak English. This girl didn't. To make matters worse, the train was running so badly that when we got to Ogulin they told us we were going onward by bus! The stewardesses were laughing about this, and said the journey would be shorter for passengers, but it is 235 km from Ogulin to Split and a 4.5 hour coach journey. At Ogulin there was only one coach so dozens of passengers were left stranded! This is a service to be avoided. Regiojet are taking a lot of money for a very very bad service.
And if you don't believe this then also google train delays to Croatia and you will see other similar stories.....
Very Rude staff and unpleasant journey
Very Rude staff. The whole journey was unpleasant. Bus did many stops for 10/15 minutes. The staff going outside. While passengers were being locked 🔒 in the dirty stressful bus. Next time I will never use this bus. Power plug was not working. Never recommended at all. Also dangerous. The driver was eating while driving on one hand.
Comfy seats, lovely crew, don’t use them if you’re in a hurry tho
I’m giving the 3 starts for the comfort, and the staff only, because it seems that punctuality isn’t your strong suit.
We should have left from Budapest Kelenfold to Prague at 7:58 this morning, but instead we had a 5 minutes delay. Fair enough, I thought, that’s not too bad. But then at around 9:46, at Mosonmagyarovar, we were told that we’ll be staying here for a while as the driver who supposed to take over the train hasn’t arrived yet from Austria.
So we had a nice picnic on the platform for well over an hour. Thankfully, the weather is nice and and I’m not in a rush but you can’t expect people to leave hours and hours of leeways for transport companies when planning their trips. It’s now 11:40, we should have arrived at Wien Hbf at 10:30-ish, I’m excited to see whether I’ll be able to catch the 17:25-ish train from Wien back to Budapest today. LOL
Kudos for the staff for keeping us updated while we were waiting for the new driver to arrive and for their overall attentiveness and professional approach.
I’m travelling business class: very comfortable and spacious, however the compartment I’m in could be a bit cleaner. (Floor needs hoovering, there were crumbs on the seats)
I will never use this train again
I will never use this train again
It’s very hot
The air conditioner is not working or it needs repair
We were all sweating inside the oven train
Moreover it wasted our money cause it was delayed for 45minutes without any notice and we lost our reserved tickets in the other station
We supposed to reach vienna station at 5:21
So we can move to budapest at 5:45 train
But aaaaaahhhh
OMG
We reached Vienna station after 6
So we lost our tickets
Awful service as the bus never turned up
Awful. The Bus didn’t turn up and they didn’t refund me so they’ve charged me for a non delivered service. I’d avoid them at all costs if you want a stress free journey. The cheap cost is deceptive if you consider the extra cost of rebooking.
Pleasant journey
Pleasant journey, for unbeatable price!
Coffe came a bit late, but came, and wad real good!Arrived on time in Vienna!
Unprofessional, waste of time and money, stressful
One star is too much. I took a train from Rijeka to Brno and a connecting trip from Brno to Ostrava and the to Kraków by bus.
All of the tickets were bought on RegioJet official website. The first part of entire connection was late 3.5 hours which made the trip continuation impossible. Train staff did not inform anyone about the delay. I noticed that something is wrong myself, 2 hours before the scheduled arrival to Brno.
The girl that was giving away the drinks said that there is a manager in the train but that he will help me in the same way as she can: find a connection later or from a different city. I don't see that as answer for the simple reason that I expected to return home from 1200 KMS away to work on Monday and getting back tired after a sleepless night is not the way to do it. And that it is the fault of RegioJet. I specifically said that the company was at fault. The response was that I am insulting the girl. This is beyond ridiculous. So I asked her to call in the manager.
The manager came and started talking loudly to me about me insulting his staff. He also threatened to get me off the train on nearest stop. This is absolutely shameful. I continued to state my case and after about 10 minutes of explaining that RegioJet is at fault for the train being late and that they should at least find me a way home, the manager seemingly regain common sense and realized that he was being unprofessional and unfriendly, probably got carried away protecting his staff member who was simply unreasonable.
In the end, they searched for a replacement way on their phones for about 10 minutes but they didn't find anything. I think it was because they tried to find another RegioJet connection because later I was able to get when I got off the train in Brno.
So to sum up:
I was late to home by 6 hours.
I had to pay extra because I bought the remaining part of the trip in last moment.
I was told that I am offending train staff by saying that I want a compensation and a way back home
I was threatened to be removed from the train
I sent an email requesting a refund but got no response.
Employees are too incompetent to differentiate between their service and company service.
If you value your time, money or dignity - use a direct connection, a plane or a car. And do not use RegioJet
