My comment may seem paradoxical, but I want to separate my disappointment from my objectivity. I would like to tell you that despite the fact that my account has been permanently suspended without a clear explanation of the cause, Remotasks is a great company, with superb people, qualified and responsive teams, and a very high-level support and compensation system. They are organized and caring (even when informing you of your suspension, they do so courteously).
The terms and conditions and community rules are of paramount importance and have been explained from the very first day of contact. Many of us, myself included, have skimmed over this document negligently and have likely fallen into error or violation. For my part, even though this is probably the only and last time I will have the opportunity to work with this wonderful company, I am grateful for the experience I have gained, the exceptional people I have met, and the unforgettable moments of work.

Hi, I am an old remotasker from many years but from last few months they have blocked access of my country Pakistan and there is no valid reason is provided. To be honest I was really shocked that they will do this to us.All those workers who are actively working on the site will have no longer access from few location and that's really disappointed ☹️.There is no security of work that you will get here and they can remove access at any time without prior notice. That's not professional. Really worse experience so far.

I worked for a few months, after which I received a letter of discontinuation in my country. Since I was moving, I immediately started a ticket in their system to see if I could continue from the new location. After 2 weeks I received a reply with explanations on how to change my country in my profile. No one answered anything of substance.

I like to work from home; I don't like a situation whereby I completed a task and they will be no payment.i want This company to be loyal to people who have successfully completed their task

I said I only wanted python for coding tasks, yet they gave me C C++ Java Javascript tasks which I know nothing about and they said I was not meeting quality standards 😂

This site and the team behind it need some major rework.

My Experience:

I worked on exactly 10 coding chat review tasks in 2 days, and they kicked me out, stating that I did not meet the quality standards. Let's break it down. I had a solid 100% score for the first 7 tasks, and the last three are still under review. However, they sent me an email with no reason or explanation, just informing me that I did not meet their quality standards.

The site has a ton of bugs. The training video is tiny, and you can't even see 90% of the content. All I could think of during the training was to fix their site so that I could see things properly. Not to mention that most features on their site only work on Google Chrome.

If you are considering using this site, think again. It is not a reliable place to earn money.

worked on a project for more than 6 hours with a promised payment around 28 dollars per hour. well. i got less than 50 dollars for over 6 hours of work.... can i recommend it? no. luckily i didn't do it full time... because with that pay i couldn't even survive. other projects were 0.0005$ per task. thats ridiculous. thats not a sidehustle like they advertise it, its a trap

I started work recently. Let's say I have worked for a week now. It's payment day and my money is still pending. I have not received any email notifying me of any concern.

This company is a scam. Do not trust them. They will initially act as if they will pay you then somehow block or limit your account. Don't waste your time.

Avoid at all costs! Despite being called one of their "experts" and getting good scores on my work, they inexplicably pulled me off all projects. And didn't give any warning or feedback on it. The support team is a total joke and never actually answers the questions or concerns you have. The pay never quite matches the hours worked.

A completely scam website; I was working on their Vertigo Translation project, and my accuracy was high. However, without any reason provided, they suspended my account without offering further details. When I inquired, they responded with the same stupid automated message and refused to release my pending payments.

I went through Remotasks insane AI training/testing, and I mean it was an insane amount of work to review the pages and pages of guidelines and apply them to the multiple multiple testing samples they require you to complete. Then I heard nothing back from them about the results of this training/testing. I also emailed them a couple of times and nobody has responded. I did an insane amount of study and work and I have heard nothing!!! I now believe that Remotasks is a total scam. Do not waste your time or immense amount of energy. I believe I worked for them for free under the guise of so called training/testing.

Read the reviews and did not want to proceed. So much scam going on in the world instead of trying to help people and doing something useful. What are these companies doing?

My account was incorrectly suspended even though I’ve completed all the tasks myself and haven’t violated any terms of use. The worst part is they refuse to pay me 3000$ for the work I've already done. They asked me to file an appeal but did not respond.

A total scam. I was hired at a certain rate and got paid at that rate, then got paid a lower rate and then got suspended for traveling to Africa without warning. They also did not pay me for the hours worked the last week. I cannot get a hold of anybody to resolve the issue.

Hi, I have been actively working on remotasks since last two months.
Here is my experience
1-shortage of tasks for specific regions
2- lot of spammers from india and Kenya selling Indians coders projects and other projects accounts without any fear on social media. People use proxy to access other country account mostly Indian coding for better pay.
3- support team : the support team is not very responsive. My issue is pending from last 8 days . It was cloudflare country Block issue . But no solution has been provided.
The projects are only available for specific regions and always lack of tasks.
They must improve the support team
And also remove spammers.
VPN and proxy should be completely banned.
