Chad at Remotes.net is the MAN.

I originally thought I had been sent a non-working universal type remote. I wrote a 1 star review. I made a boneheaded and hasty decision that I wish I could take back.
Since I can't do that I owe Remotes.net a few minutes to express my appreciation for their efforts despite my review.
I am writing this without any influences other than my conscience.
About a week to 10 days after my review I got an email from "Chad" (I don't know what his position is other than he is extremely knowledgeable in remote control programming) at Remotes.net with the precise and exact procedure needed to utilize this badass remote. I immediately was overcome with embarrassment. I felt just stupid. So I replied back and thanked him for reaching out to me. I apologized to the whole team (don't know if there is one) and let them know I will amend my earlier review.
The specific AV Receiver that needed a remote is, in my opinion, loaded with every bit of available technology in mid 2000's. The remote he built/programmed looks like it's out of The Matrix. He emailed me with very specific instructions AND included excerpts from Sony user manual PDF for any further use I may get from that.
It's worth my time to type this out again and I will buy from them again with zero hesitation.
