Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. Purchased a remote on 28th February 2026 and order was confirmed. After not receiving the remote or any further communication from the store in 2.5 weeks we emailed them to confirm what was happening. After a few days with no response, we emailed again. It's now the 17th of March 2026 and we have received no communication to date regarding the remote or our order. We sent an email requesting that the order be cancelled and refunded. They immediately cancelled (received generic email response). Advised that refund had not been processed however. We are now speaking with our bank to have the refund organised. Honestly, the lack of communication, inability to deliver, and now the work have to go through to get a refund - it's just so disappointing and time consuming... all for nothing. Do better.

New owners ... things may have changed

DO NOT PURCHASE from this website. (see update below)
I bought an Apple TV remote ($56) and two weeks later an Apple silicon remote cover came from Amazon costing $12. After numerous emails, I'm still trying to get my money back or the actual remote I purchased.
The worst online customer experience I have ever had!

Update: 08/11/2022
There is a new owner for the remotestore.com.au, as I have been contacted via email. I don't believe he was aware of the previous owners' behaviour. He has very kindly refunded my money, at his own expense I assume. He seems genuinely interested in doing the right thing.

100% scammers.

100% scammers.
DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
I purchased a replacement remote about a month ago.
I had to email them constantly to ask where my purchase is.
Given a weird tracking number without knowing what company the tracking number was for.
What came in the mail was a remote COVER sent from Amazon (I didn’t buy through Amazon) worth about $4 when I paid over $50 for a REMOTE.
I asked for a refund but was told I had to send back my purchase (I didn’t purchase a cover but somehow their brains can’t comprehend that?) before they could refund me.
Now I’ve requested they send the REMOTE via express post and eat the $4 themselves that it would have cost them for the piece of crap they sent me (remote COVER) from a third party.
Ridiculous customer service.
I’ve probably just lost my money as I won’t hold my breath for my purchase to arrive OR a refund.
THEY MADE THE MISTAKE yet will do nothing to rectify it and expect the customer to clean up after them.
It’s obviously their first business venture (set to fail).

Scam or Terrible Service - Not Sure!

Unfortunately there was no option for zero or minus stars so I had to rate 1 star. I am not sure if this is a scam business or if they just don't care about their customers. I bought a replacement remote on the 20th June and paid for standard shipping 2 to 8 days. Nothing arrived. I tired to call and the phone number just has a message they not taking calls because of COVID. Sent an email on day 10 and they claimed the item had been sent. No tracking number provided. Sent a follow up email 5 days later and they stated they will contact the warehouse and get back to me. They then sent a weird tacking number and did not state which courier company. "Package transferred to another carrier for delivery. It should arrive next few days." It didn't arrive so I had to send another email, two days later, asking which courier company. They provided the link to the courier company on the 7th July. It stated it will be delivered the next day. 4 days later it is still not delivered. So I contacted the courier company and they stated they don't have the parcel and I must contact the seller. You decide, SCAM or unacceptable customer service. I have requested a refund but as you would expect - no response. Either way, avoid dealing with this business - remotestore.com.au.
