After two weeks in the Raumschiff, I can wholeheartedly recommend this option if you are interested in an easy-to-handle camper that drives well and is equipped with everything you need. The bed, refrigerator, and stove are great, and the option to extend the sleeping area with the tent-like attachment is fantastic. The car itself is not brand new and therefore not equipped with all the latest bells and whistles, but it's okay. I was a little surprised by the very modest service when I picked up the vehicle in Christchurch. More of an introduction had been promised, but it was over very quickly. The online tutorials are helpful, e.g., for emptying the toilet.

Very professional and efficient. Campervan was in excellent condition and handed over with good explanations and documentation.

Super friendly and competent camper rental company. The colorful ones are truly special. We had three unforgettable months with our camper and were completely happy with it.

We had a good time and vehicle was OK. Service from local partner Touring Cars is good. Better contract directly with them. Service from Rent a Camper is expensive and brings no additional value. It adds an intermediate with complicated and confusing communication. I would not recommend and never do again.

Loved the features of the Fiat, and mostly how the campervan was set out. The bed was not comfortable (there was a wooden slat which did not allow me and my wife to cuddle, and there was a hole where my feet wouold normally go). The extra package we bought was not good value (limited utensils and crockery, cooking pots were incorrectly packed, bed linen too small for the bed, a chair was broken). The battery for tyhe living area had a very short life before it went flat. Information about how and where to re-fill the gas cyclinder was very poor.

Rent A Camper has been great in helping us to find a camper last minute. They found one in Regensburg. We enjoyed our 2-weeks camper holidays very much. The only negative experience was that the Regensburg camper company made us pay €1200 extra upon return, because the steer of our bicycle had scratched the back of the camper (where is had been standing on the bicycle frame). If this would be the real costs, it would be fair, but we will never know if they just painted the scratch over themselves and keep the money. So I would advice anybody to buy of your own risk for
Damages to the lowest possible amount.
