I'll Never rent from rent a room again i rented a room from them and the room had a old smelly carpet uncomfortable bed a sofa was falling apart the hole house needs refurbishing so i move out now charged me money for a room was already in a poor state when moved in rent a room just scammers as mentioned the room i moved in 2 was in poor conditions they trying scam me out of £1.241 not way they getting that me and my partner will be taking rent a room to court who would stand with us don't rent from this agency they'll con you out of money that not owed to them

Very good the room is excellent nice and warm

Son moved out and given costs of charges to be taken out of deposit more or less giving him a pittance back.
Few marks on walls from stick on hooks they are charging for a full room repaint. We have offered to repaint ourselves. Room was spotless, more than we can say when he moved in but being charged for a cleaner...you get the drift!!
Communal kitchen was constantly filthy. Whole place stunk of weed.
Please avoid this company

The lady carrie that we delt with was amazing she helped us with everything as i found the forms quiet hard to fill out on a mobile phone. She was on time and did everything she said she would.

From start to completion of my application and acceptance of tenancy it has been great customer service. Carrie has been excellent in her job role and consistently kept me informed and updated. Carrie met me at the property and explained everything very professionally.

After a long frustrating search by myself looking for a new home I decided to contact RENTAROOM. I'd seen many of their rooms advertised on Spareroom, Roomies etc...so i decided to ask a few questions. I had specific needs due to disability issues and after arranging my first viewing with the wonderful Andy my long frustrating search became easy and FUN! Andy listened to my needs first of all, which was something other agencies had not. And within a month of meeting him and 6 viewings later WE found my home. I cannot praise Andy enough without coming across as a stalker, but honestly he really is fantastic and the first thing i picked up on when we met was that he cares. I'd like to thank carrie and the rest of rentaroom staff for the efficiency with my paperwork that led me to me getting my keys on 15th Sept. You all do a fantastic job. I recently moved into a RENTAROOM property, and while the process was a bit lengthy, the staff were incredibly kind, responsive, and supportive throughout (Especially Andy). I found this company through listings on spare room. I honestly cannot be more grateful to Andy and Carrie for how helpful and supportive they have been throughout the process. They ensured everything was sorted in a matter of days! The property was also amazing and in pristine condition! Would totally recommend using their company and services again!

2 years ago, I was looking for a room in Nuneaton and I found this great Estate Agency Rent A Room, formed of a great team. I met Carrie, a lovely Queen that helped me moving in less than a week, as I am working Night Time Warehouse and I was struggling to do all the paperwork. But Carrie took out the hassle and helped me with the checks, signing the contract and handed me the key of the property. And not just that, I need to mention that Andy, a very good lad, also supported all my stress I gave them when I didn't understand something regarding the house and the agreement terms.
I will need to mention Becky, a lovely lady that looks after any issues with the properties, also is doing a great job by highlighting the issues to the maintenance team.
Recently, the house owner of my first room rented 2 years ago want to gain repossession of his house and I was into a massive stress to find a room to stay. But Carrie and Andy, 2 life savers, again stepped in and found a more comfortable room for me, within my budget, into a very nice and quiet area. And again, they sorted out with all my paperwork and references from my job, from my previous places I lived and my right to rent in UK and I moved to the new room in less than 2 days.
So, if you're looking for a place to live, such as a room or a studio flat, I recommend to get in touch with Rent A Room in Nuneaton. They're a real heroes regarding properties lettings. Good luck !

Andy and Carrie are really helpful and made the whole process of moving so easy

I had a really great experience renting my room through Rent Room! Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures – clean, comfortable, and just what I expected. A special shout-out to Carrie and Andy, who was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond to make my move-in smooth, explaining everything clearly and answering all my questions with patience. It made the whole experience so much easier and stress-free. Overall, I’m really happy with everything – a great place and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Our recent stay at this apartment in Paris was unfortunately a terrible experience. The apartment looked nothing like the pictures – it was outdated, run down, and not well maintained. We were traveling with our 2-year-old, and the conditions were far from suitable for a family.

The check-in process was chaotic. Lisa was initially very responsive and encouraged me to book outside of Airbnb for a better price. However, once I made the payment, she completely stopped replying. She had told me I could drop off my luggage before check-in, but on the day of arrival, I had to contact Laurent instead. He finally responded, but the apartment was neither ready nor clean.

The building was extremely dusty, dirty, and suffocating. To make matters worse, the entrance was surrounded by prostitutes – a major safety concern, especially with a young child. Laurent did try to help by offering us another apartment, but unfortunately, it was just as unclean. The sink was clogged, and although we reported it immediately, it wasn’t fixed until Wednesday afternoon – we were leaving Thursday morning.

The sheets were dirty, and the mattress was in terrible condition. This entire experience was very disappointing and stressful. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.

I had a great experience with rent a room but my only issue is with the cleaning staff who didn't clean as expected and lack of promptness on the part of the management pertaining to concerns and issues raised. Overall everything was good.

It was super easy to get into contact about the room advert and the process was very quick to gain all of my references and checks. Carrie has made the experience lovely for me and helped me through the whole process, even with my endless questions ☺️ x

Guided me through the process every step of the way. I cannot thank Carrie enough for her support and checking in with me. It’s a big step to live by yourself but now can start living life for me!
