HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, OVERPRICED AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HELP FROM RENTERS.PL

Disliked · Reported broken washing machine and main entrance door handle first evening of our stay. After several " copy and paste " messages with renters.pl "specialist" was send to sort out the problem but nothing has been done and repaired. Renters.pl informed us that the washing machine is to expensive to repair or changed and door handle is still working so ignored the problem and said that we can oficially complaint to them... They didn't give a monkey that the family on holiday will have no chance to wash their clothes.
In general apartment looks good and clean on the photos only - however if you look little closer this is not a case at all !!! ( please see photos below ) The smell in the apartment is awfull, there is dirt and mold in the bathrooms , the toilet was still dirty after previous rent. It was not enough of kitchen utensils, very old and overburned frying pan , not working toaster, electric oven was dirty and discusting that we didn't wanted to use, very dirty and full of mold hoover etc.
The main problem was ignorance, luck of action and help from renters.pl customer service. We'll never use their service again - STAY AWAY and use the other available renting companies.

Was charged more than originally agreed

Booked through Booking.com and got a receipt telling the total amount. But when Renters.pl did withdraw the money using my credit card they withdrawed more than the total amount. Actually it was around 10% more than the total amount on the receipt! Writing back and forth with Renters.pl in the Booking.com app. But they answered me with useless answers, and finally I got the answer that the difference between the total amount on the receipt and the amount they withdrawed was due to the currency rate when converting to Polish sloty. But 10% difference can't be due to curreny conversion. I got my money back after consulting my credit card provider.
It's first and last time I use Renters.pl

Worst rental agency

That was the worst experience of renting of my life. Guys confirmed my reservation via Booking.com, but when I got to the apartment didn't let me in due to "some technical issues". I spent 4 HOURS in the street and they didn't resolve the issue, didn't recall me and were not in touch. Finally they couldn't get payment from my card and said "Sorry, try to book this accomodation through the Airbnb". Did they make any compensation or decreased the price to cover Airbnb taxes!? No! To be honest they did nothing, and I would definitely advise not to use this service anyone.

The worst experience I’ve ever had.

The worst experience I’ve ever had.
Renters always charge you extra money due to current rates.
Highly recommend to avoid this platform:
1. Extra charge: i had to pay for 100€ extra for a booking.com.
2. They charge fee in some way that you don’t understand it’s a fee for booking;
3. If you pay in other currently than PLN, for sure you will be double charge;
4. Do not pay in a bank transfer.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS & ONLY PAY TROUGH PLATFORM (Used booking.com & airbnb due to booking was not possible to update) WITH CREDITCARD. ALSO DON'T USE THEIR INTERNAL CHAT WHEN CONSULTING WITH THEM, DO IT TROUGH BOOKING.COM OR AIRBNB

They edited my experience on booking.com & removed all negative.

1 - star would have been for full scam
2 - stars for horrible CS, had to fight over one week for replacement while living on a construction site (dusty from renovation going on in oposite room & loud drilling noise), my ears are still ringing, but we got an nice replacement flat & some refunding on it's way... Old flat did not look like in pictures, but replacement flat had standard & clean.

Also some greaseball & cleaning lady smelling old vodka rushed in to old flat while GF was there & threw us out from old flat while I was in office & waiting for replacement that would have been available at check-in time.

Protip: check old reviews, it's a bit like playing russian ruolette and you never know what you get.
CS are also old bullies who are not transparent with airbnb either

Would not recommend using their services anywhere anymore, they still have a long way to go before they reach some EU standard

Unbelievably terrible...avoid at all costs

I booked a twin room with kitchenette for 2 weeks in Warsaw on booking.com. I specifically wanted a room with a kitchenette so I could do my own catering as a solo traveller. On arrival, there was no kitchenette. I wrote to both the apartment agency which is "Business Studio Apartments Wolska by Renters" and Booking.com. I requested a change of room to what I paid for or a refund. All the replies were apologies from booking.com and totally unsatisfactory from Renters. They gave me an offer of paying a substantial extra amount to get a room with a kitchenette (which I'd already paid for) The room was sold under false pretences. Booking.com customer service now deny that their site ever showed that a kitchenette was offered with the twin room. They had 2 weeks to change my room. I wrote to them almost every day and it totally spoiled my trip. If i got a refund, I could have gone elsewhere but they didn't do that. Also, when booking, for some reason "Renters.pl" didn't accept a credit or debit card despite my bank saying that there was no reason to refuse my cards. They offered an option to do an international transaction. I sent the money in PLN Polish currency and before they would allow me to get the key, they wanted proof of payment. I sent a screenshot but that wasn't sufficient. They needed a pdf. I sent that and all was "well" until a few days later when they requested extra money and if it wasn't paid, they would cancel my booking. No coherent explanation was made as to why I had to pay extra money. I didn't pay because I paid what they requested in the beginning. I would urge anyone thinking of going to Poland to be wary of this crowd. If I paid by credit card, I could have got a refund and I think that's why they refused a card payment. They are tricky customers and booking.com were extremely disappointing because apologies don't solve a problem. Needless to say, I won't be using Renters.pl in the future.
