Bad cars and very bad condition
First of all, I would like to say that I originally rented a car that looked great and was advertised as being in good working condition. However, as soon as I landed at the airport, I received a message saying that the vehicle had not been returned and that there was some issue with it. After waiting for about an hour, the administration finally replied and said they could offer me a different car instead.
They suggested a blue VW Tiguan and sent me a video. In the video, the car looked clean and in good condition, so I agreed. Then I had to wait again until they sent some people to pick me up. They drove me somewhere outside the city and gave me a completely different vehicle – a white VW Tiguan that was heavily damaged and in very poor condition.
The car had countless warning lights on the dashboard, the air conditioning did not work, the turn signal bulbs were burned out, and the check engine light was on. The vehicle was dirty, worn out, and clearly not properly maintained. They simply told me to take it and drive.
The people who delivered the car could barely speak English, and I had no idea where this vehicle had even come from. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience.
I cannot recommend this company. Situations like this should not happen. If they cannot properly manage and maintain their rental fleet, they should not be renting out vehicles at all.

Although we had an initial problem with the car because the clutch was failing, they were incredibly helpful, responded immediately, and did everything they could to fix it. In fact, they even brought us a new car to where we were. We are very grateful and highly recommend them.

Essentially a scam, do not use them
This was not as described. The rental was not with a ‘local’ it was a rental car company pretending to be an individual.
The collection was not where it was detailed.
The person (3 separate people to contact to pick up the car) were rude and unhelpful.
They did not have the specific car that I selected.
The car was filthy and stunk of smoke.
Terrible experience and I will never use this again. Better off to rent directly with a reputable company!

The website was a good way to get into contact with local small rental orgs. The calculation of the price per day can be improved to include all costs. But overall the experience felt very safe and reliable.

Great service and exact car as booked.
We received the vehicle we ordered. Very low mileage, in perfect condition. The handover was efficient and the owner even dropped us of at our accommodation about 1 km away after we handed the vehicle back. Great personal service from a smaller supplier.
