Avoid Rentola.be – Misleading Subscription and Poor Service

I just realised that these bastards had charged me 39 euros TWICE for a service I didn't use. Worse still, they didn't send payment confirmation or reminder emails so I could cancel it. What options can one take in Belgium to seek redress here? This is outrageous.

Cancelled During Trial, Still Charged €390 Without Consent
I subscribed to Rentola and cancelled my account WELL WITHIN THE TRIAL PERIOD. However, they continued to charge me €39 per month for 10 months, totaling €390, without my consent. Despite my cancellation, I never received any confirmation of the cancellation or a reminder of the ongoing charges. I am extremely dissatisfied with this practice, as I should not be expected to constantly monitor my account for unauthorized transactions. This is unacceptable, and I would advise others to be cautious.
They said that even if I missed the communications from them, ‘you still should have kept track of the debits on your account and reached out to us sooner.’ This is literally taken from the email they sent me. This is not acceptable, as I should not be checking my account for transactions I do not expect.
Putting the blame on me for not checking my bank account closely feels careless. They offered only a one month refund, which i declined. All this feels like deceptive behavior. I strongly advise others to stay away

I made a one time subscription for 1€…
I made a one time subscription for 1€ to get contact details for an add and I used it only once and I thought that the subscription was only for this once add but they are herassing for months now. I got an email saying that I owe them 39€ , without even being informed about whatsoever. They are trying to collect from the card I used to pay the 1€, but are blocked every time by my bank.

I made a week subscription for 1€ but I owe 39€
I made a week subscription for 1€ and I used it only for a week and I thought that the subscription will be canceled automatically because I just asked for only this 7 days subscription but one day I got an email saying that I owe them 39€ , without even being informed about. Shouldn't they ask me if I want to continue the subscription when the 1€ - 7 days ended? That's just not fair

Is a very disappointing site with not…
Is a very disappointing site with not direct connection to the properties and charges a lot of money for displaying advertisement on properties,1£ pound for a week subscription, next thing they are charging you £35.00 pounds without even checking with you,so is very frustrating, and I have no even find a place yet, thank you but I would suggest to anyone not to used this as it is unreliable drain of money.
