En wat ze doen is, ze willen je laten betalen voor de volgende maand. Ze sturen geen herinnering of signaaltje over het einde van de trial. Het stomme is dat er wel een factuur voor je klaar staat, maar dat je geen actieve Premium account heb. Heb direct melding gemaakt bij fraude helpdesks. Ik wacht nog steeds op antwoord van Rentola over het einde van de lidmaatschap en het annuleren van hun malafide opgestelde openstaande factuur.
Never use this. They're scammers. They provide you with unclear information about your membership and subscription and unclear information about what is needed to cancel your account in time. They try to get your money, before you even know it. Useless website/portal. You don't even get a confirmation of your cancellation (deliberately so). They force you to e-mail them about the confirmation. And what they then do, is that they want to get you to pay for the next month. They don't send a reminder or any heads up about the end of your trial period. The funny thing is, they do bill you even if you have cancelled, but your Premium account is stopped once you cancel it yourself on the website. I instantly filed my complaint with several fraud helpdesks. I am still awaiting Rentola's reply about their correct confirmation of the end of the subscription and their reply about cancelling their malevolent billing.

i signed up for a free trial however i am unable to cancel. i have requested a reset my password many times, no emails received and now i am being charged when the site did not allow me to cancel int he first instance. This is not my error but theirs and there is no way of contacting anyone to resolve this. Their email info@rentola is automated,yet they are details provided to contact them.. how does that work? There is no phone number and nothing else of use. I do not want this matter to escalate and need my account cancelled ASAP. This is a nightmare. Can anyone advise what organisation they can be reported to as this appears to be an ongoing problem.

Very concerned that this is a scam as I paid the $2 to get in touch with a landlord for a rental. After paying, I was sent to the real listing posted by a real estate company which was in fact selling the house. The rentola add was misleading. I have tried to cancel my subscription but cannot log in to do so as my details are “incorrect” when I am definitely using the right log in details. Do not purchase the subscription to this website I do believe it to be a scam to get money off people who cannot log in to cancel their subscription. This is terrible

They are Fraud. I will inform Police and Netherlands. I create membership because the force this one. And as I understood they are Web is just forwarding other websites Like Funda.nl etc. I cancelled my membership but still they are asking me to pay.
Friendly recommendation don't use this Web site and similar. They have no service only concentrate to drain money from your pocket.

Big scam and big joke.
1 star because it’s not possible to rate as 0. BIG SCAM. You are not able to apply for most of the properties, sometimes it gets stuck by any reason. Besides, when you want to cancel it says that’s not possible and you still have to pay even during the trial period.
If you do not pay they send the amount to a collection agency. Big joke jajaja

I had a terrible experience with Rentola, and I strongly advise others to stay away from this company. I signed up for their one-week trial, paying €1 as advertised, but I canceled the subscription well before the trial period ended. Despite this, they attempted to charge me €39 for a subscription I had already canceled.
Their subscription model feels like a deliberate scam. They lure you in with the trial, hoping you'll forget to cancel, and then make it incredibly difficult to avoid being charged. Even after canceling, they tried to take money from my account, which is unacceptable and unethical.
Customer service is nonexistent, and they make no effort to resolve the issue or acknowledge their fault. I had to threaten legal action to get them to take my complaint seriously.
Rentola is dishonest, unreliable, and preys on unsuspecting customers. Don’t fall for their false promises—it’s just a trap to get your credit card details and charge you for a service you didn’t agree to. Worst experience ever!

Can you stop this debit alert attempts on my account please. I am not interested in subscribing further as I have been in touch with you twice and you stated all your properties are not available to let for this year. It's a notorious platform which phish customers to subscribe for free for a trial period and then without bringing any results, it forces for automatic renewals. I cancelled within the first trial period, but the company still charged me for 39 euro of subscription for the first month. For such 39 euro, they involve a payment collection third party, and the charge increased to 80 euro. Never use this platform.

Thank you for reaching out.
I can see that you subscribed to our services on rentola.com on 11 November 2023. The subscription was renewed at the full price after the 7-day trial period was over and every 28 days after that as per our agreement.
You can see all your account details including when it will renew by logging into your account and going to the "My Membership" section.
When creating a subscription with us, it costs a lower amount in the intro period - afterwards, you are charged the standard price for each subscription period until you choose to cancel the subscription.
This is brought to your attention when you register the payment and it is also stated in our terms and conditions which you have to accept in order to create a subscription. When the subscription is created you also receive a confirmation email with the terms and conditions clearly stated.
If you do not wish to continue the premium membership, you can cancel anytime via your account settings or by contacting customer service.
I can also see that you cancelled your subscription on 26 October 2024 and I can confirm that you'll not be charged again. Currently, this is a free account with no active subscription. A refund, however, is not possible since the subscription was cancelled after a new billing period had started.
Further, users are not allowed to delete their accounts, they have to contact the support team for it. Please confirm if you want me to permanently delete this account and are fine with losing all the details(including property search and history) associated with your account. Once I have your confirmation, I'll delete your account.

I'm afraid we informed you before, during, and after you subscribed to our services. As a responsible company, we have a duty to disclose costs, which we do in several places. As a customer, you also have a responsibility to read the information we provide.
Further, you could have requested cancellation anytime after the first 24 hours and you still would have used the services for the remaining period. You could have cancelled either by doing it yourself or by contacting the support team like you did this time. You should have also kept track of your debits and reached out to us sooner however, you reached out to us a full month after you cancelled your subscription.
For these reasons, your refund request is denied and this ticket is now closed.
Seeking alternative help is your right and you are free to do so, however, since you have chosen to go that way, we must stop all future communications.

Once a subscription is cancelled, no further charges occur. Borderline fraud with the methods they used to activate the paid subscription. I see so many other saying the same thing so I know I’m not crazy! I am still not sure when I even agreed to start a paid subscription with them but here I am owning THREE MONTHS of subscription plus a collecting fee of SEVENTY. scum people, scum company.

Redirects to other listings & fake housings
Exetremely dissapointed in Rentola and the people that work there. After registering and paying a subscription fee, none of the advertised apartments were actually available. Rentola simply redirects you to other websites where the apartments are listed, requiring yet another registration and subscription fee. Despite completing these additional steps, I was never contacted or followed up on by any of these platforms. I couldn’t contact them either.

My 1€ introduction fee activated a Premium subscription fee.
Having paid 1€ introduction fee by credit card I expected an activation notification prior to a subscription was charged to my credit card. A week later, without notification my card was charged for a premium subscription. I wrote explaining my circumstances, requesting a refund. My message remains unanswered that I was charged for a premium service for an introductory service. Beware, this company's procedures are deliberately evasive and make it virtually impossible to contact them.
