Never subscribed but received invoices
I am new in the country and I only registered with Rentola on Jul 2nd 2024 and I never attached my bank or credit card information. Today I got contacted by debt collection company that there is outstanding of 79.26 euros with Rentola. I never subscribed or gave any card information and did not opt for free trial. I got a payment reminder in month of July 27 and I immediately responded to it on email to cancel my subscription and delete my account but still no response and I tried paying through the link which does not work. Now yesterday I got call from Intrum a collection company asking for 79 euros that includes subscription fee + collection fee. They do not have option to pay online through link and don't cancel subscription so they are working closely with Intrum (collection company) to do this fraud. It is so frustrating.

Once you've created an account, you'll realise that it's impossible to get in touch with a landlord.
The website is not explicit, nothing is explicit!
I cancelled my account and I keep getting emails asking me to pay 39 euros.
I am totally dissatisfied with your service.
There's no phone number, the e-mail goes unanswered.

Rentola is a scam. Don't sign up. I signed up and now can't unsubscribe. They are trying to charge me €39 per week so I've blocked them on Revolut. Now they're sending me debt collection letters. There's no contact firm on their website. STAY AWAY!!!

As service it is quite useless. Mostly a scam on collecting subscriptions from carless users. Be very careful and remember about unsubscribing, the sub will auto renew and you will not be notified. Then they will sell the invoice to 3rd party for collection.

Completely useless and expensive!
Many of the ads in there are old and not even updated.
You have to pay 40€ per month and many of the ads there require fees to other websites. Better to consider other cheaper options.
After the free 14 days trial they do not remind you of the due payment to take advantage of it, which is completely right since it is specified in the terms and conditions, so I forgot to cancel it and the only email I got from them was one in which they were threatening me to start a trial against me to have the money back plus a fine.
Go somewhere else.

subscription not cancelled on time
I forgot to cancel my subscription on time. I realised 2 days after the deadline I got chsrged for new period. The guys at service desk were kind to cancel it and reverse the charge despite of clear rules

The website it's not clear at all, the customer service wasn't available for a phone call, the chat without chatbots doesn't exist, as a client I will never recommend Rentola. They charge me, I reply waiting more information, they simply move to a billing department, without ANY reply about the bill that I was asking about. Go to pararius or funda.

This is a scam company
This is a scam company, they tempt you to subscribe for €1 for a week of four days and then when you cancel the subscription they still gonna send you emails and invoices to make you pay €40 and if you didn’t they gonna send the payment to a fee collection company.
I had to pay 2 times because I forgot to cancel my subscription in the trial week and they did not send me that I need to pay except after the first month to force u to pay 2 months before I finally get rid of them
After I cancelled it they kept sending me spam emails to get me to subscribe for €1 again.
Really sucks to use people needs who searching for house to scam them, even the houses they offer when u click on them they gonna transfer you to other websites and then u find out the property is gone already.
Stay away from this scammers and be careful. Don’t fall into their scam.

if i could i rate -50 stars, NEVER USE THIS SCAMMERS . first you subscribe then you have to subscribe to another website and after you cancel all free subscriptions they don't stop stealing money even if its cancel and they change dates on website so you don't have proof that you cancel couple days after you subscribe, there is no chance to text landlord, you have to pay for rentola for nothing and after you have to pay again for another website. long story SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best rental searching site in NL
first of all rentola is the biggest site that you can search for rent. i had issue about membership payment. i sent them mail and they responded very quickly and they solved my problem that is not expected. im very appriciated. i hope this site will be useful for other expats like me.

Terrible service
Terrible company, only scammers! They keep taking money from my account and when I transfer it back you get Intrum debt collection agency. You never get a response by email and I cancelled the subscription within 2 days after registering (the same day was not even possible).
The replay that they give is always the same for all the complains.

I would never even consider coming back to make an account at rentola, reason?
1. They DO NOT send a reminder about ending trial period
2. They CHARGE for it 39€
3. They REQUIRE user to send then email to DELETE account, and even when I told them to do it they asked am I sure? So if I do not reply they will keep it longer, and charge more.
4. Service is so nice that you can see it's to much, candy shop is salty comparing to this.
5. Simply, website DOESNT do what it should do
6. For such a huge amount of money I was still looking at already rented properties etc.
7. If they charge you for trial period - they will also demand money for it, sending emails with not realy good attitude
In a world full of places like this, its harder than ever to find something good.
AVOID AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!
