Five stars for repair, speed and customer service

Easily one of the best uses of my money in recent times, my Kindle 3G which has been dead since 2013 or so is now back in action. With the new-ish battery that Chris has put in it to replace the dead one, it feels like new! I couldn't have been more satisfied!

I took some time to post my Kindle to REO Tech, but I got a couple of emails within a day or two of posting it. Chris had kindly explained the details of the problem and the solution that he had found to fix it, but when he didn't receive a reply, he called me over the phone to make sure that I was okay with the solution. He also updated the Kindle's software - gratis - to an appropriate version to ensure that it would connect to Amazon's servers.

All in all, fantastic quality and speed of service, and I'd recommend REO Tech without any hesitation whatsoever.

Professional Kindle repair

I commend Reo Technology for the work they have carried out for me this week. A few days ago, the screen on my Kindle Keyboard EReader (3rd gen) failed after nine years of daily service. “Get a new one!” I was advised. However, I was convinced that repair rather than replace was the answer. But how? Having found Reo Tech here and on eBAY I posted my Kindle and received it back the next working day after receipt. It’s perfect… just as it was when I bought it in 2011. Sincere thanks to Chris and his team.

Amazing service. Extremely customer focused, great communication and immediate turn around. So good we are immediately getting a second kindle fixed with them.

Really great service from this company…

Really great service from this company . Very fast return of my repaired kindle. They even sent it back before I had sent the money for the repair . Not many companies nowadays are prepared to trust their customers in this way. It was great to get it back before I go away on my holiday

Quick, Efficient, Well Recommended

Kindle displayed Empty Battery and would not charge. I sent it on Friday (10th Nov, posted 1st class in two jiffy bags), and I received it back on the following Thursday (15th Nov, 1st class signed-for) Fully working. All in cost £26-65. I think this was excellent value for money and absolutely would not hesitate to use them again. This is why: I wasn't sure what the problem was. The LED would go yellow when plugged in the charger, suggesting the charger and USB was OK but even with 48 hrs charge the screen would not change. I suspected it might be the internal charging circuitry (from what i saw on the internet), since things usually work when plugged in, even if the battery is duff, but that didn't happen here. So i wanted to pay for an examination, rather than just change the battery (in case that wasn't the fault), but didn't want to pay extra if it was just the battery and so (as it was just the battery), the diagnosis and battery change were all done for just the £20 advertised (plus P+P £6-65 extra).
There was a slight hick-up on payment.as I didn't have a paypal account, but i spoke to Reo Tech, there and then, on the freephone number and sorted it - paying by BACS. Reo Tech prices seem completely standard (I saw another UK based web site, charging the same, but with poor reviews as they were taking 4 weeks to turn around and had poor communication - from the reviews). Since my 3rd Generation kindle had 3G and was otherwise in very good condition it seemed a shame to bin it (and expensive to replace, like for like) and I'm glad I sent it off. Well done Reo Tech - Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent service, speedy and reliable.

I've just received my Kindle back . . . Broken screen mended and it's working perfectly. I sent it on Tuesday 26th Sept and received it back today Thursday 28th. Excellent service, this company is absolutely reliable and amazingly speedy. Not cheap but I wanted to keep my old keyboard kindle as I have a good case with light for it and it has worked well for 6 years. Do not hesitate to use Reotech. Highly Recommended.

absolutely fabulous service

absolutely fabulous service, repaired and returned my 3rd gen Kindle within 3 days they even replaced the fascia as it was cracked although you would never have noticed that in a million years would highly recommend Reotech and will certainly use them again

Great service

Had my mothers Kindle screen replaced and can't fault the service, received back within 48hrs of posting to them. Would highly recommend their services and will certainly look to having any future repairs carried out by them.

Excellent customer service

Drop my Kindle HDX and cracked the screen. Sent it off for repair which was done very quickly. After a couple of days, I noticed the screen starting to pop out. Spoke to Chris who asked me to return it so they could fix again. Sent out Tuesday back Friday all shiny and new. The best thing about this company is nothing is too much trouble. They even refunded my postage for the return repair.

Highly recommend these guys

Very impressed

The reviews almost seemed too good to be true, but there were enough to be credible.

I need the screen replaced on my daughter's Kindle. I only just caught the post on Monday, so they would have got the Kindle on Tuesday. I was very impressed when the repaired Kindle arrived in the post on Wednesday.

Definitely a service I'd use again.

Brilliant service from this company.

I cracked my screen on my Samsung Galaxy s4 mini and it was repaired within 4 days despite the company using 2 different kinds of screen. I have also had my kindle and iPad repaired here too. Excellent service.

Fantastic service!

I posted my poor broken Kenny Kindle to Reotech at 2pm on a Monday. Their website was easy to understand and the prepay option means no nasty surprises. I got Kenny back on the Wednesday. Beautifully repaired and they had even done all the updates that were needed. Thank you for a job really well done. I would recommend this service and company wholeheartedly.

Quality, reasonably-priced, fast-turnaround Kindle repair service.

Whilst waiting in a traffic jam recently, I leant across the passenger seat to pick something up and inadvertently leant on my Kindle, breaking the screen. I went on to the Amazon website later, to find out if I could get it repaired. only to find that Amazon do not repair Kindles! Staggering!! Somewhat stunned by this, I was forced, (so I thought at the time), to buy a new one. Two days and £140.00 later (I had to buy a case as my old one did not fit the new one) my new Kindle arrived. Very pleased with it but if the truth be known I preferred my old one with its keypad and mobile and WiFi capability. A couple of days later It occurred to me to do a Google search to see if anybody had spotted this potential niche in the electronic repair market and Reotech came up. They have a very easy to use website; I located my kindle model and version very easily with the help of the pictures on the site, clicked on the screen replacement repair option (other available repair options include, battery replacement digital board upgrade/replacement), paid by Paypal (~£46.00 for new screen and return postage) and sent off my broken Kindle. It came back within 3 working days fully functional. Well done Hugh (Engineer who repaired my unit) for providing a fast, reasonably priced quality service. I only wish I'd thought to Google earlier.
