The worst one on emergency tyres

If you didn't already know Matt Boyle also appears to be associated with TyresRightNow who offer a similar service.

Rang to get a battery fitted, they took £69 deposit said someone would come the same day between 2& 4pm no one showed up, no one called. Sent an email asking what happened no one replied. Phoned the next day asking for a refund no one refunded me. Had to request a charge back from my bank. 0/10 Service

Paid over £250 for a new battery and fitting never came out still waiting for refund

Waited considerably longer than advised ( 2.5 hours as a lone female, not great). Told I had to pay up front which I refused, but did pay a deposit. The actual delegated local company who came to replace my tyre brought the wrong tyre (this guy, by the way, could not have been nicer), but Matthew Boyle of 'Rescue Mate' promised me a refund which 2 weeks later I have not received, despite plenty of opportunities to do so. He has since been ignoring all my messages. Not to be trusted. A simple polite response would go a long way since you have my money for a service I did not actually receive.

Very Bad Company to deal with . ZERO Stars in reality. Unable to contact once they failed to arrive to my breakdown. Wait time went from 1 to 2, to 4 hours and excuses about `their' van breaking down. However I spoke to 3 or 4 of my local garages and they had been contacted by RESCUE MATE to try and cover my breakdown but they were too busy, so I was just being fed excuses. Requested to cancel recovery and receive a refund. Subsequently no response from emails or telephone numbers when trying to obtain refund. No legitimate company information detailed throughout their website ({just a mobile number). Looking at Companies House they are registered as a Micro Company under the name RESCUEMATE TECHNOLOGY LTD . Registered address: 1, Swan Street, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 1HF. Director Jason Clare - Correspondence Address: Apartment 2502, East Tower, Deansgate, M15 4TN. I will be pursuing this refund, initially by a notice to refund letter, and will issue a county court claim if that is not successful. It's not about the money it's the principle. Have also informed Trading Standards. AVOID!

Called out for a puncture repair. Was charged £159. Sent out a fitter who didn’t do repairs and was told the cost was £240. Matthew Boyle apparently knew this and agreed I would pay the extra without even asking! Fitter at door was extremely nice. Said he would never use rescuemate again. Mathew was a liar and rude. I cancelled and Matthew promised a refund. Never arrived. Now a week later and still no money. Won’t answer texts or phone so I am taking this further. Absolute scammers. Do not use!!!!!!

Failed to deliver product and service as promised. Linked to HGVTyres.co.uk No contact from fitter at all. Paid for battery and fitting. No show, no contact. Seller responded very late in day, after numerous calls and messages from me. No apologies or reasons. Great at hard sell but poor on service at every level. Refund requested. Will update accordingly.
EDIT. Scammers. said refunded money back, can take 3 to 5 days. No faith. Will keep yoy posted.

Do Not use this company unless you want to pay for no service the company is not based in SCOTLAND is based in Cheshire run by 1 person out of Deansgate I will be paying the director Mr Jason Clare 37 years of age a visit when I'm down that way blocked my phone number after various unresponded messages all of this for £70 when you have over 300,000 in assets

It's absolutely unreal. Poor customer service.
Rang for support on the 16.01.2025 to change 4 tyres. They never asked the size of the wheel, so when they sent out a mechanic to change the tyre, the individual hadn't the right size tool to change the tyre. They assumed, based on the generic car, the size of our wheels.
So we had to cancel.
Initially, they never paid the call out mechanic, and we paid him £80. However, the mechanic returned the £80 when he couldn't finish the job.
Had £100 returned. However, continue to wait for £89.99. Despite contacting them, we have been ignored and blocked. Tried on a number of numbers to contact them. Will be putting a complaint in via consumer direct for support with getting our money back. I'm disgusted to be treated like this by a company who never provided us a service, effectively robbing us.

How they can improve - customer service and not ignore their customers.
The error was at their fault. If they'd have not assumed the tyre size the job would have been done.

I wish i could make 0 star as this company is the most dodgy company i have ever seen. They took £200 pounds of the customer and hired my company to do the job, made us to pay for the battery and travel to different city and then refused to pay and blocked me on all calls. Over a month time now. Beware of this dodgy company. Mathew is the biggest scammer of this company. DO NOT TRUST dodgy RescueMate company it is fake. They hire small companies and make them do the job and then block them. I will be reporting these scammers to the police 100%.

👎Absolutely disgrace this company is the most dodgy company i have ever seen. No communication after taki g £200 blocked me. Please don't fall on these scummers BEWARE

Great service as soon as I contacted them as felt very unsafe driving my car. Matthew kept me informed the whole time.
Arrived within 45 mins and tyres all changed
Hassle free, easy payment, cannot fault them.
A bit on the pricey side but to be expected with a call out fee too, all in all I wouldn’t hesitate to use again

This company is scamming people of of there money do not use this company there will not do the job you pay them for

AVOID!! Paid extra for them to come out, they didn’t. When I rang and said we might have to cancel and get someone else out, they cancelled it straight away and returned most of the money except £89!!
We tried to ring them but they blocked us.
Spoke to a lawyer who says we can get money back and he’ll charge the company legal fees, so if anyone else wants to know how to get their money back, drop me a line. It’ll cost them over £1k for being dishonest!!!!

While on holiday I damaged two tyres. I called them and they said they would be there in an hour. After two hours when no one came, I called again and was informed that no one would come to me today, only the next day. So I waited 18 hours to change the tyres. I had to walk 50 minutes in the dark to my place of stay. When I spoke to this gentleman he said I would get a discount for the inconvenience, but the next day he did not answer my phone. In the morning the fitter called me saying he was on his way. Ok he came and changed the tyres, but I did not drive 1 mile and one tyre went flat (it was simply punctured) and I had to go to the garage and fix it. I paid another £30. I tried to contact this company again but no one answered my phone. I think these tyres were not new, but used, and I paid as if they were new. I simply do not recommend this company!!!!

Was told would be seen in 40 minutes as they were local, waited over and hour and rang and messaged them, they finally got back to me giving me another number to ring for another fitter, no answer got back to them again and was given another completely different number. Whe the fitter arrived he told me he had just got the message and was working over 20 mile away.
If their service was as quick as they were to clear my payment I would have been happy !!!

Had a flat tyre, contacted rescuemate and they were out within 90mins to fix it, would highly recommend them.

Had a puncture in the car park of my work in early evening. I called them . They make sure they had the right tyres for my car and they said they would call me in 2min which they did . To be honest in my surprise. I told them I was working until 9pm and they made sure they arrived around that time which they did. He was really nice person and fast and after 10/15minutes I was on my way home. I really recommend them

Very prompt and helpful. Job completed quickly. Would recommend.
