Your allegation is factually incorrect.
research-i is a fully legitimate UK-based market research recruitment agency, governed by the Market Research Society (MRS), the Association for Qualitative Research (AQR), and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We operate under strict GDPR and industry codes of conduct.
It is literally impossible for applicant data submitted to research-i to leave the company or be accessed by third parties:
Access to applicant details is restricted to the two company directors.
Data is stored on encrypted, password-protected systems with multi-factor authentication.
We do not share, sell, or pass applicant information to any external party.
If an applicant is not selected, their data is permanently deleted.
Because of these safeguards, there is no conceivable way that applying to research-i could result in spam calls from another company. The claim made in your review is a false assumption with no evidence, and it does not reflect how we operate.
We take data protection and integrity extremely seriously, and we will continue to protect applicants’ details with the highest level of security.

I don't really trust this website, i've applied to over 10 different projects, which I am certain I would qualify for, given my interaction & experience with the different projects. However, not once have I ever been contacted - and I feel I am just wasting time applying for these projects, I spend a lot of time and effort filling out the surveys prior hand, and I have even contacted a member of their staff about this asking politely what I was missing to qualify, however he never replied back and shows no acknowledgment, to me this website feels like it’s not really representing these companies. This has been ongoing since 2023, and still yet to have any experience.

If you did reach out, please feel free to forward your message again, and we would be happy to review it. We receive a large volume of emails, so if something was received and missed, it certainly was not intentionally ignored. We would have welcomed the chance to explain our processes, but as we say, we have no record of any correspondence.
We want to reassure you, and anyone reading this, that all of our projects are completely legitimate. We take great pride in ensuring that we only recruit participants who meet the strict criteria set by our clients. While we appreciate it can be frustrating to apply multiple times without being selected, it’s important to understand that even if you believe you are suitable, there is no way to know for certain. We do not disclose the exact criteria our clients require, as these are often highly specific and confidential.
Additionally, responses provided when applying for projects are only ever used to determine eligibility. They are never used for any other purpose, nor do they influence future selection chances.
If you were a registered member at some point, we’re sorry we weren’t able to include you in a project. We genuinely wish we could involve everyone who applies, but ultimately, selection is based on strict eligibility criteria and the limited number of participants required for each study.
Not being selected for a study is not unusual, nor is it a reason to distrust a legitimate market research company. This is simply the nature of participant recruitment, and the same applies to any agency in this sector. As proud members of the Market Research Society (MRS) and the Association of Qualitative Recruiters (AQR), we adhere to the highest industry standards, ensuring fairness, transparency, and professionalism in every project we conduct.

I have done a few projects for research-i now and its honestly great. Darren is easy to communicate with and will get back to you asap. payment is quick.like i have left the site of the research , travelled 30-40 minutes home and the bacs has already been done. 10/10 reccomend. I only wish they were able to do more projects more often
