Promised curtain not delivered

Promised curtain not delivered. I paid full price. Shipping lable produced, UPS stated not picked up. Sales and shipping stated UPS lost it! UPS said not picked up. Sales said they would submit a claim to UPS. That was never done.
Lies lies lies.

Ineffective and Overpriced

I haven’t found the product to be effective and therefore not worth the price. Now I’m stuck with it because of an unreasonable return policy.

Great customer service

Great customer service, great product, really happy with the purchase. The shipping took a long time, but we were in contact with the customer service and had followups regularly, so it was all fine. Thanks!

Works Well

Works well. Turns the volume down on outside noises (except low frequencies). Loud sounds become moderate. Moderate sounds become barely-audible. Quiet sounds become inaudible.

My only complaint is the instructions it came with were misleading on how to connect the brackets to the bar. Maybe I got outdated instructions.

I suggest that the company advertise more clearly the fact that it's made of EPA rather than PVC MLV. Standard MLV is made of PVC, which offgasses toxic fumes indefinitely. EVA does not. This product has a smell for a couple weeks - but at least it's a harmless smell.

Does nothing vs train horns

Purchased after reading a review on their website saying it was effective vs train noise. There is a train track a half mile away that hoots in the middle of the night. The curtains do not dampen that noise at all. They mildly dampen other noises, but do not do anything towards the reason I purchased them. I should have done more research on reviews before committing $700. Frankly, I feel like I've been scammed.

Door sweep

The product arrived damaged and unusable. On the upside when I reported the problem it was resolved within a day.

RIP OFF!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This product is complete trash. Using a professional decibel meter while the curtains are up it 100% does not block out any sound or made a difference. Then they tell you there are no refunds which is complete bull and should be displayed on the ordering page. I've had to get my bank involved to get back $800, because I bought these overpriced curtains that do nothing but block out light. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this scam of a company... Im prety sure they fake all their website reviews as well.

Item is high-quality, works as advertised

Item is high-quality, works as advertised.

I really like my Acoustidoor! I haven't had as much time to use it as I would like, but I've done some testing and it definitely reduces noise and sound bleed at the threshold where I installed it.

Be sure to measure carefully: my item was delivered with precisely the measurements that I selected.

They tell you to measure width and height and add…

They tell you to measure door and add specified inches to width and height. This doesn’t take into account a door handle thus cannot make a tight seal to keep noise out. Second time trying this time second time unhappy. Not the answer to soundproofing at all

Decent product, very good customer service

Great customer service. I purchased a large (~70x96) AcoustiDoor™ Soundproofing Door Cover. The item shipped ahead of the expected delivery date. I was skeptical, but the soundproofing is effective, though likely not to 20 db, at least 10 and as much as 15 I think. But it depends on the environment. I have a big opening to my office/living room area with high ceilings and wood floors so the accoustics is difficult to suppress. I also have a 18-month old running around and it does muffle the sound significantly enough so I can have work calls, etc. The strap-pully system is very good but is work to open or close fully. The directions for sizing on the website are very specific (as necessary) and you need to pay close attention to the details when placing the order as the grommet holes are about 3 inches from the top edge. There were a few things that could have been better, like the mounts that were supplied or the magnetic strip adhesive strength - both were not adequate as the weight of the curtain is close to 50 pounds, maybe more. The cost was also somewhat negative as it was over $500 after shipping. But overall, I'm happy with the purchase and I'd say it was worth it. They have been very responsive and the quality, durability, look, and feel of the material is very good. I've had the product for about two months now. Hopefully, I won't run into any issues but I'm confident that if I do they will be able to accommodate me. Overall, 7 out of 10.
