Sign up for Rohan Emails
To be honest I let 25 Rohan emails sit in my email. I thought I needed to spend all my time applying to jobs where I don't hear back from most. So recently I started reading each of the emails and WOW they are amazing. Not all are relevant to me but most are in some way. I now can't wait for the next email. They are free and so well done packed with great tips and a touch of humor.

Decent Tool, But the Subscription Feels Like a Trap
I used Resume Worded for a bit, and honestly, the tool itself is… fine. It does what it says on the surface: it points out missing keywords, gives you a score, nudges you to rewrite a few bullets. Nothing magical, nothing life‑changing, but useful enough for a quick pass.
But the whole thing feels like it exists mainly to funnel you into a subscription you don’t really need. The upsells are everywhere, the “premium” features aren’t that different from the free ones, and the cancellation process feels like it was designed by someone who really didn’t want you to cancel. I had that classic experience where I thought I’d cancelled, only to find out later that I hadn’t clicked the “right” button.
And that’s the part that bugs me: why is this even a subscription? What exactly is being updated every month? It’s not Netflix — they’re spending billions producing new shows, new movies, new content constantly. Resume Worded isn’t generating fresh seasons of anything. It’s the same scoring system, the same suggestions, the same interface. There’s no ongoing cost that justifies a recurring fee. It feels like you’re paying rent on a highlighter.
So yeah, the product works, technically. But the business model feels like the real product is your credit card, not your resume. If you try it, just be careful with the subscription part, because that’s where most of the frustration comes from.

Didn't think it would help but it made a big difference
Didn't think it would make a big difference
But it DID!
I was skeptical about paying for a resume tool but someone who worked at my target company told me to use it and that it worked for them.
It's a useful platform. The current hiring market is a mess especially when it comes to applicant tracking systems but resume worded made it easy. The score is super useful.
The linkedin tool also works well. I got the extra add-on and it really helped! My linkedin is way more professional now.
Very happy with the interviews it landed me and the job I ended up getting. I would recommend Resume Worded in a heartbeat.

Resume keywords aren't accurate and it's a waste of time. Hard to use and slow customer responses. Overall a scammy service.

I made an honest review of their product, and they have managed to take it down flagging it as disingenuous. I paid for the service and the service did not deliver. It just a bunch of metrics and guidelines on CV's that were of not use for me. That's it. Let's see if they have the nerve to take this one down as well.
