The tournament was well run and a great experience for the boys
The festival it's self was good it was friendly and mostly clean but the stuff to buy there like burgers/drinks/team photos was just so expensive it was daylight robbery it was.
Well organised. Plenty of refreshments and toilet facilities.
The tournament was well organised. Accommodation was fine, with only minor complaints for a few rooms. Coach shuttles from the accommodation to the venue if booked in advance.
John was available to me as lead organiser and the WhatsApp messaging service made it easy to get/give info.
Our boys loved it and mixed well with the other teams on site, which is what rugby is all about. The only minor criticism was the price of the food and drink at the festival site, which was a little pricey but no different to other events of this type.
Looking forward to next year!
We had a fantastic tour. The tournament was really well organised and run. Referees were all superb. John from Revel was on site both days he was a huge help and a really nice chap. Games all run to schedule, the only negative I can possibly think of was that pitch 6 was on a slight incline. Keep that for mini rugby rather than junior. The accommodation was perfect for a rugby tour and the staff at North Devon Resort were brilliant. Will defiantly recommend to other age groups in our club. Thanks all.
The match links were easy to follow, pitch set ups worked well. Very well organised. All children involved had a great time! Coaches were very pleased.
Only downside was paying for parking and some people had to queue to get in due to limited space.
Well run event and staff where very helpful.
Unfortunately the coffee van was expensive for sub standard products.
£5 parking charge was over the top considering there was not enough spaces, cars were parking on the grass and up the lane. Luckily on the Sunday we parked over the road and walked in.
Very good rugby played and organised very well. The children loved it
Would happily be part of it again my only negative would be being charged to park when no spaces
Brilliant weekend! Very well organised and the boys enjoyed playing teams that they haven’t played before!
Great weekend of rugby … kids loved it really well organised, will definitely be taking part in 2027.
Thank you for a great weekend!
We booked our u15s tour to Cheshire with Revel Rugby and would highly recommend. The weekend was really well organised and their booking system meant that parents could book and pay direct, leaving the coaches to focus on planning the fun parts of the weekend. The rugby tournament was well organised and we loved that the fixtures were all available online.
We recently took our team on a tour with Revel Rugby, and while the overall experience was brilliant, there were some notable drawbacks.
The site itself was amazing for our team, offering a great environment for bonding and preparation. However, the accommodation was very overpriced considering the quality provided. Additionally, the 45-minute drive from the accommodation to the rugby venue at Elsmere Port was a bit of a logistical challenge.
The rugby tournament at Elsmere Port was well-organized, which was a positive aspect of the trip.
Unfortunately, the facilities at the club left a lot to be desired. The ladies' toilets were in a terrible state - only three were available, and two were out of order. The floor was flooded, and the overall cleanliness was poor. The food options were also limited, and we were disappointed to find that there was no food left for the Sunday afternoon games.
Despite these issues, the tour was enjoyable, and the team had a great experience playing rugby. With some improvements to the accommodation and facilities, Revel Rugby could offer an even better experience for future teams.
Revel Rugby should focus on improving the accommodation options and facilities at the venues they use. Better planning and management of food options would also enhance the overall experience for teams.
Great weekend, Definitely recommend! However, it would have been better if organisers were to invest in new match balls, no grip whatsoever and for the cost it should have been considered! Other than that it was really well organised
A fantastic tour from start to finish. On arrival the welcome and support was excellent. One of our members had an issue with their tent but the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Henley RFC was a great venue for matches and played host to an extremely enjoyable 2 days of rugby. Entertainment on the campsite was superb and the support on offer from Jon, Jodie and their team was amazing. They were extremely visible and clearly care about providing the best touring experience, which they certainly succeeded in doing! A great weekend, I’d have no hesitation in recommending revel rugby to others! Many thanks!

the event was organised extremely well and there was always someone on hand to help with anything. We had a problem with one of our party members forgetting their tent and revel went out of the way to assist and put a tent up for us with 20mins. Nothing seemed to much for them to help with. Would highly recommend and intend returning next year ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very well run tour. Great communication with organisers before and during the tour. This was our second year with Revel and will definitely be going with them again next year.

Our 2nd festival with Revel (3rd with John) - this time in Cheshire.
Competitive matches, good weather, new friends, excellent referees and very good first aid support. Everything ran pretty much on time and the website was kept up to date with our scores and playing schedules.
The players and parents had a very enjoyable weekend.
We stayed at a nice holiday park in Rhyl who were also very helpful, especially with our late arrival. It was a bit of a shame to not have all of the teams staying at the same place (and closer!) exclusively so we could socialise in the evening (as on previous tours). Occasionally slow getting email responses but the team are helpful and if I resorted to calling John always got a quick response!
It will be our last festival with Revel - but only because we're too old now!

A very well organised event.
Great location and easy to get to - not far off the M4. Campsite is basically a field with no permanent showers / toilets but the trailer toilets / showers were immaculate and cleaned frequently. Entertainment brilliant and prices reasonable. Bus transfers were easy and tournament very well organised. All in all very good, even though I hate camping :)

A very well organised festival with a good balance of rugby and festivities. A well organised campsite too with good toilet facilities and the shuttle service from campsite to the rugby pitches was amazing. Thank you very much
