I’ve been using Revid to help create short-form videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and product marketing, and overall it has been a very useful tool. It helps turn ideas into videos much faster than doing everything manually, which is a big deal for a small business like ours.

What I like most is that Revid gives me a way to test video ideas quickly without needing a full production team. For product videos, storytelling, funny skits, music clips, and AI-style promotional content, it opens up a lot of creative possibilities.

There are still some areas I’d love to see improved, especially better asset management, editable previews before using full credits, and a clearer way to control product images so they don’t get changed by AI. I also think unused subscription credits should be able to roll over, because creators often save credits for bigger projects.

That said, Revid has helped me create more content, move faster, and think of new ways to promote my business. For anyone trying to make short videos consistently, especially small businesses, inventors, and creators, Revid is definitely worth trying.

ReVid AI allows creators to make videos of up to 4k quality with various features and create characters to feature within. In addition, stock images and video slideshows are available. I've had a great time with making music videos and personally recommend it to anyone interested in making music videos.

I'm a complete novice in this field I'll be honest so whether Revid represents brilliant value for its membership tiers I will leave to wiser heads to decide. I'm subbed on the $39 a month tier and for that I get 2,000 credits - which is generally speaking enough to generate 2 or sometimes 3 full-length (3-5 mins) music videos for my songs, which is the only thing I use Revid for at the moment. And I only generate these videos for fun and uploading to my Youtube channel, I have no commercial aspirations. Their "Pro" and "Ultra" generation tiers are hideously expensive and I've never used those accordingly.

I find its timeline interface clean and fairly intuitive to use, although there are some quirks that I would like to see tackled, too technical to go into here.

One frustration I had was when I generated a video in "Studio Ghibli" style it actually - entirely unprompted - put the licensed character "Totoro" in my video several times. I contacted Support to point out my annoyance at this and to their credit, they refunded me 400 credits which didn't quite make up for the inconvenience but it was a gesture I appreciated, because a lot of companies would have just shrugged their shoulders and said - sucks to be you.

For the limited scope of what I need, Revid performs very well. Your mileage may vary.

The videos are excellent quality

It's impossible to get them to stop charging you!!! I have wrote them many times and even though I have cancelled my subscription weeks ago and its visible in the system they keep charging me. Scammer company! Run away! (I am happy to submit any evidence)
