Food was poor

Food was poor, terrible customer service. Been trying to contact them for almost 2 weeks with no response about not being able to use a prepaid booked voucher for a birthday, due to their booking systems being down. Have had no response via call, email or on Instagram. Don’t usually leave bad reviews but I cannot reach them elsewhere?!

Awful customer service

I wish I could leave a review about the ambience but couldn’t even make a booking! Booking down on website. Called and left two voicemails with no return calls. Went in and spoke to them and left my number and no response. Even emailed to include head office and no response! Was a large booking on a week night but they don’t seem to want or care for business, not sure it’ll survive.

1 star – Ruined birthday, unsafe seating, zero response to complaint

Booked Bottomless Brunch at Revolution de Cuba Birmingham for my birthday celebration. We were seated inside the DJ booth at a table surrounded by electrical sockets, exposed cables, and staff equipment.

Asked to be moved to a normal dining table and was refused. Service was poor too — glasses and plates were never cleared during the whole sitting.

My birthday was completely ruined. I paid for a Bottomless Brunch experience and got an unsafe, unsuitable table instead.

I emailed a formal complaint with photos requesting a refund. That was 3 weeks ago and I’ve had zero response, even after sending a follow-up.

Avoid if you care about basic customer service.

Terrible Customer Service Experience!

Could I give it a zero? We went to this place, a group of 12 ladies and ordered separate foods for our table. Including 2 bottles of cava. We ordered food and only part of the food arrived. After approx. 6 times we went to speak to staff, we were told by the duty manager Sam that our friend had to leave the place, because she approached another staff asking for our food as we had to leave to get a train. Sam was incredibly rude and accused our friend to shout at some of his staff - which we all clearly saw it didn't happen. It is such a shame for this great venue to have to deal with such terrible customer service. Our friend was asked to leave, and it took a full table of 12 of us to leave and leave behind our bottles of sparkling wine and food orders which were ordered separate and never arrived. He gave her a refund of £23 for the food and 1 glass of Prosecco, but never considered the orders of the other friends and the shaming moment he made us all go through due to his unprepared professionalism. Such a young man, we still not understand if his motivations were because we were a group of woman - please note we were not drunk - and we wonder if he would ever speak to a man on the same tone he spoke to us.
It is extremely sad to think that, I have worked with this venue before and that, I've been invited to this venue as a potential place to bring my clients in. Unbelievable to think that such a nice place would have staff on site that would kick the guests out because they never received their order.
He accused our friend of shouting, we know her for over decades and we know the person she is, the kind that would never raise her voice to anyone, and to be accused of something like this. Was it racism? Was it discrimination? These are sad questions we will have to go on with.
Within our group we were most executives from different backgrounds and we tried to speak to him and understand the reason why it happened and I even asked him, if he understood that according to the Customer Law he was acting against it, by creating a situation to accuse someone of something he created on his head.
Sad for the board of tourism of Northern Ireland investing millions to make Belfast a wonderful destination and such a silly thing happens due to a totally unprepared staff.
The only thing I can make sure is that none of my company's clients will ever step a foot at this venue, and I will make sure it will happen. Thank you.

Manchester

Manchester - Booked the premium brunch for a Birthday celebration (£225 for 5 people). Waited 27 minutes for our first drink to come out, still at this point no food order was taken. Table next to us who arrived after seemed to be receiving drink after drink after drink.

Requested a full refund from the venue which they agreed and followed this up with them on the Monday & was told it had been actioned, 10 days later still no refund. Chased and was told i have to wait for regional manager to sign off on this??

Not a good place

Not a good place. Was warned it was hit a miss after booking.
But then they closed the venue with no notice and after saying I am entitled to my deposit back they then are ignoring my requests.

Kept my mouth shut for so many years…

Kept my mouth shut for so many years because my hubby loved the cocktail Regge rum punch we have really nice food, always! Albeit service has always been absolutely diabolical, no sense of customer awareness, needs and requirements.
So after our second visit midweek ie: Not busy, they still managed to create their cocktail menu and serve myself a ‘Zombie’ which when it arrived only consisted of Cinnamon powder which resulted in a un-rehearsed episode of ‘Thee Cinnamon Challenge’ which I failed drastically by going into anaphylactic shock and not tasting anything remotely related to Havana club but if had to call it a day with Cuba I’ve put enough with this crap service and drinks your company is down the pan over and out 💪🏻

Terrible Customer Service

Booked Reading restaurant for 11th June 2025 and confirmed 1pm. On arrival we were told by the chef that they did not open until 5pm. On further enquiry the restaurant denied the booking was made. Terrible customer service. We would certainly not be looking to try booking again

The food was excellent

Liverpool, Albert Dock.
The food, drink and service was very good but the experience was somewhat spoiled when they refused to accept a Red Letter day voucher on payment. The experience is clearly included on the on the Red Letter day website but they were adamant it was not. I had sent an email the night before explaining this would be our method of payment and on seeing this they reluctantly accepted that we had a case, so we ended up paying half the bill. I might add that the lady handling the situation was very polite and we realise it was not her fault but a problem elsewhere.

Bad day, or low standards ?

We went for the first and last time today with a group of about twelve people, and unfortunately we had a very bad experience. The first coffees arrived after almost an hour, the food was cold, chicken was dry, meetballs were hard, eggs were overcooked and cold, avocados were inedible, reheated sausages... probably a very bad day in the kitchen, I don't know, but the discontent was even across the table, not so with the attention of the waitresses who didn't know how to apologize enough. I hope it was just our bad luck and not the restaurant's standards for the sake of business, in any case it won't be an option for me to risk checking it out... a shame and very disappointed.
