⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Experience at Revolution
Went to Revolution recently with four friends, for the “boozy brunch” and honestly, it was a terrible experience. My burger came out raw and pink in the middle definitely not cooked properly. One of my friends pizza was absolutely disgusting, out of everything how do u manage not to cook a pizza right that’s obviously been sitting in the freezer. On top of that, we didn’t even get all the drinks we paid £40 for one of my friends only received one drink, she basically got a Chicago town pizza and toilet water! and the ones we did get tasted awful. We then went downstairs to get more “drinks” which wasn’t a good idea my friend bought 3 single vodkas and was changed £48? when before that she got 2 doubles that cost around £20 so where has the other £28 went😂😂😂. On top of all this the service was basically non-existent, We had to ask the staff multiple times to clean our table, which should’ve been done before we sat down. Overall, really disappointed with both the food and the service. Definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Revolution Bar, awful afternoon tea.

We had my wife's Christmas present of a Afternoon tea at the Revolution Bar in York in October 2025 and it was nothing like what you see in the photos when you buy it on Virgin Experience's, the food and what they served the food on which was 2 old chopping boards was not at all fancy and presented well like the photos of it, I was very disappointed with it all because I thought I had bought a lovely afternoon tea for my wife but it was nothing like that at all. 🫤🫤

Super service from Jarid in Brighton

Super service from Jarid in Brighton

My partner and I had a really nice evening on a trip to Brighton.
I had the steak medium rare which was cooked perfectly and Dave had the Heatwave pizza which was absolutely lovely and freshly made and cooked. We had several cocktails using the 2 for 1 offer. The food and cocktails were great. We were served by Jarid who went out of his way to cheer us up as we had had some bad news earlier. I would go again.Thank you.

Grace was a phenomenal server

Grace was a phenomenal server, she met every need and was incredibly efficient. Her friendly demeanor made our entire afternoon a pure joy. Grace was on top of every request that we had and accentuated our excited mood making our afternoon an incredible experience.

Dreadful service - avoid

Revolution Bar Durham. I do not to believe we could have received a worse service anywhere else.
We wanted to order 2 Bubble Gum Daiquiries with flying sources and 2 main meals. We were told we would have to wait 1 hour for the meals, so decided to just have 2 cocktails which took forever to make and when they eventually were served, they looked nothing like on the drinks menu and the flying saucers were missing. I complained and was told they did not have the correct glasses for the daiquiries. Seriously? The blond woman serving was incredibly unpleasant and obnoxious. She said we had ordered these cocktails. I told her we had not and they looked nothing like on the drinks menu and she either gave us the correct drinks or a refund. I told her we would not accept those cocktails. She was argumentative and indifferent. She said she did not have the flying saucers. I told her we should have been informed when we ordered and we would have chosen different cocktails. She walked away and found two flying saucers under the bar and just stuck one into each cocktail. I told her that was unacceptable and wanted the manager who, unknown to me, had stood at the bar all this time and not muttered a word. He came over, no apology, and processed a refund. If was the most disgusting and appalling service. We must certainly will never go back. 😡👎

Avoid Avoud Avoid

Where do I start?...Valentines Evening, my partner and I went to The Birmingham branch of Revolucion de Cuba in Temple St Birmingham,Started off okay sitting at a table, after one hour a surly waitress without any excuse or apology for interupting our conversation put a reserved notice on our table saying 'you have 20 minutes to vacate the table ' !! The waitress then returned a short while later and asked us in more demanding way to vacate the table, there were plenty of other empty tables nearby ?We then finished our drinks and on going to the bar I attempted to tell the male member of bar staff what had happend but he also was rude and continued to mix drinks while I was trying to tell him about the member of staff ,he stated that we had been rude to he server!! HOW ?? because we had question about being told to move from the table ??.This male was also extremely rude and stated that the other member of staff had been insulted !! NOTE to company owners: on you next team meeting tell you staff how to treat customers more politely...two customers now eating elsewhere.and a loss on your part !!

Revolution Broad street Birmingham

Worst place I've ever been to. My friend went outside to make a phone call and the bouncer refused to let him back in. I had to bring his belongings to him, the bouncer wouldn't even let him grab his property. I noticed the bouncer wasn't wearing an SIA license, which is required in the security industry. When I questioned this, the bouncer threw me backwards through the entrance door of the establishment. I will never go here again and I'm writing this review because I was assaulted by their arrogant and illegal door staff.

Convoluted Process

We thought we go for something to eat at the electric press in Leeds.

- Scan the code
- Download the app
- Sign up with personal details
- Go to location
- Go to restaurant

Got bored at the point and walked out without eating. What a convoluted way of getting something to eat. Two stars as the staff were polite.
