Salesperson does a great job hyping the program - unfortunately, you’re required to pay up front, relying on the sales person’s representations, such as 1450 and above is easily reachabe at this starting score. Paid for private tutor, at the most experienced level (and most expensive) for SAT prep - child’s score went up 50 points . . . This is with doing Revo Prep’s homework, taking multiple tests etc. Unlike similar programs, such as Princeton Review, there is no score guarantee.

As a parent, you do get “updates”, but this consists of the tutor recording a video, asking what did we do today? And your child identifying the subject matter, “polynomials”.

We had an exceptional experience working with Revolution Prep, Sue truly understood our son's needs and found the perfect tutor, Diana, to help our son tackle a full year of geometry over the summer. Sue Hmelovsky was persistent without being pushy (there is a difference!) and helped me get organized for my son's SAT plan of attack. She explained everything I needed to know, helped me pick the right package, and most important connected me with the right tutor who was a great fit for my son. They worked very well together and she kept him focused over the course of seven months and two tests. Thankfully my son was motivated to meet with Ashley who understood his busy schedule and helped him prioritize and stay on track. His first test scores were lower than desired mostly because his time management skills needed a LOT of work. He knew the information but didn't pace himself well. After that, Ashley helped him adjust his approach and gratefully he improved his score 260 points which was beyond our expectations. Super happy with our Revolution Prep team and all their support. The Tutors Are Fantastic.

Our son improved his score by 190 points (!) in 8 weeks making him eligible for more merit scholarships. Highly recommend this company.

Our Math Teacher Mr. Mark Ingram worked hard with my son since then we saw significant improvement with my son grades. Also Mr. Joe Towhig is very helpful and assisted many times with time set up and scheduling.

Our family has hired Revolution several times for help with our kids' SAT and AP test prep. On all occasions, the tutors were professional, supportive, and excellent at their work. Our kids earned great test scores with their hard work and the support and coaching of wonderful tutors like Isaac. I highly recommend Revolution!

Revolution Prep has been a fantastic experience for my son and his grades immediately improved. Revolution Prep matched my daughter and her needs for improving Math performance with a truly excellent tutor, Mary Felix. Mary clearly understood what was required for IGCSE and IB testing, and came well prepared to every session to help my daughter be equipped to be her best. Mary was flexible during times that needed changes to schedules so that progress could be made steadily.

Very supportive and knowledgeable tutors. They not only help with academic material, but they also gave our son a boost of test-taking confidence in various subjects. Our academic advisor, Joe Twohig, has been an outstanding partner in our son’s scholastic journey.

Our family has used Revolution for two highschool sons for 2 ACTs a round of APs and now trigonometry. We’ve used both the class situation and also the private tutors. We are extremely pleased with everything Revolution has provided. The teachers and tutors know their curriculum and are empathetic and accommodating. The administration is superb. For example, our son all of sudden got stuck in trig… like “cement” stuck. Over the weekend, he expressed he wanted revolution again to help him. We called on Monday and had a tutor lined up by Tuesday. Excellent service.

Act & IB study support. Good match to student's personality & study habits. Very good standardized test prep and test taking tips. Very good study support and understanding of IB classwork and assessments.

Exceptional, personalized tutoring by educators who spend the time to get to know their students and learning style and strengths. My son's practice college-entrance tests went up by 7 points in less than 2 weeks just by the guidance and the confidence that his tutor gave him.

I signed up for 1:! test prep and found Revolutionprep to be more robotic and less student centric.

My constructive feedback to revolutionprep for improvement :
1. Be more result oriented than process oriented, focus more on results than avenues to limit your own liability.
2. Stop sending annoying marketing emails/text messages with totally irrelevant content. For e.g. stop asking customers to sign up for something they already did long ago.
3. Apologize for your mistakes, don't minimise it. Try to help and be more approachable.
4. Finally being invested in student success (holistically) more than marketing/commercializing, will help you survive the competition.

I signed up my daughter with Revolution prep and hindsight this was nothing but loosing money and even worse loosing valuable time. The first tutor spent most of the time chatting about this and that than actually prepping her for her tests. The second one was nicer and better but didn’t have what it takes to improve someone’s scores by teaching online. I seriously regret having signed up with them as they don’t take this serious enough in my opinion. I can not recommend Revolution prep to anyone!

Our Tutor James Corngold and Revolutionary Prep are the best. James is knowledgeable and skilled in helping my son comfortably prepare for his SATs. James also understands the unique challenges and stresses that teenage boys face when balancing academics and athletics.
James is always willing to adapt the lessons to cater to my son's learning style but most importantly, he’s flexible with his schedule too, which makes a huge difference in my son’s commitment to the program and overall success. James is patient, and understands the teenage mind and their rigorous schedules well.

Our pairing with Thomas has been the best 'chance' I have ever taken for my 11 year old son! I randomly looked into Rev Prep tutoring due to my employer offering through our benefits opportunities. My son's teacher did not feel that a tutor was necessary, but I thought the meetings would boost his confidence with math. This has really been the BEST experience for my son academically, emotionally and socially. He truly connects with his tutor on so many levels. Thomas makes each session so fun and engaging. I cannot say enough what a great experience this has been.
