Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 49 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall, expressing deep frustration with the way the company handles accounts. Consumers frequently complain about unexpected high fees that quickly eat up their credit limits alongside unhelpful customer service representatives who offer no real assistance. People also struggle with payments being heavily delayed, accounts being suddenly restricted without clear reasons, and cards getting declined unexpectedly during daily purchases. Some reviewers noted that trying to fix these billing mistakes or getting a resolution takes months of frustrating communication with unresponsive support teams. Customers state that trying to obtain credit increases feels impossible despite never missing payments over several years of use.

Do not get this card

Do not get this card. The app and website are trash and customer service is practically non-existent. The last two months I've missed my due date because of "You Can't Send A One Time Passcode At This Moment". Because of this nonsense that goes one for a few days straight at the time I've missed my due date two months in a row. And when I tried to call customer service to pay my bill over the phone I couldn't get to an actual person.

Beware!

I got this credit card about a year ago. They lie about fees. They charge monthly fees they dont advertise. They automatically sign you up for payment gauard plus even if you deny it. The interest is so high your payments actually put you further into debt. When i canceled this card, they kept charging me interest, monthyl fees, and payment guard plus. Its literal stealing. I have never had to deal with such a shit company. The customer service reps literally tell you to f off. Disgusting

Took my $95 fee , sent me a card with ZERO money on it.

Sent me a card with $500 credit limit. Paid a $95 activation fee. Then found out there’s another $125 yearly fee.
Went to use the card , didn't work/ no money. Overseas customer service is useless. Demanded a refund and cancel card. They cancelled no problem , but said I have to wait 7-10 days for decision on refund. Which I doubt I’ll see. Beware.

If you are thinking about signing up…

If you are thinking about signing up for the Revvi credit card then please don't. AGAIN I SAY DON'T DO IT. Do your due diligence and read all reviews associated with this card_then make your decision based on your needs and how you want to improve your credit rating and have a credit card on hand in case of emergencies. For me this card has TWO BIG NEGATIVES which are red flags!

*OUTLANDISH FEES. It is absolutely outrageous what you end up paying in various fees annually and if you are two days late on your payment, or say your card has a full available balance and you don't use it, but your "monthly service maintenance fee" is due and it is paid 2 days after due date then you are assessed a late fee of the same amount due. In my case $8.25 x2=$16.50

Unreal.

Also this card is not accepted by alot of merchants and businsesses which does what for me exactly?
If I encounter a blow out or flat on the highway while traveling and I go to use this card to purchase a new tire and the merchant can't accept the card then what good does that do me? I am basically limited in where I can use the card and for what reason.

I would strongly advise anyone that is looking for a spare credit card to have on hand not to apply for a Revvi credit card. Its not worth the hassle, trouble or headaches or your money. Even for someone loking to rebuild or repair their credit this is not a fair deal.
Revvi gets a big thumbs down.

This card is crap

This card is crap. Run far and run fast. If you you make more than one payment to the card in a billing cycle, they block the card and don’t let you use it until you send you bank information showing you are the owner of the account, the account number, and the transaction showing posted. All of that for a card they charge you a program fee to use. I do not and would not recommend this card. If zero stars were possible, I would give them zero stars.

I Got approved, Then Denied after sending money?

I applied, was approved, made a partial payment of the program fee at first. Came back to pay the rest and then it said I was denied. How does that make any since? How do you get to the payment portion if not approved and why did it say I was in the first place? What happens to the money I sent them? Massive Scam, Everyone stay away.

This company is trash

This company is trash. A scam. If you’re approved to “rebuild” your credit, please be advised they will disappoint and make your situation worse. I got approved for a credit line and had to pay the program fee. They let you select a date when to pay the fee. It asks you for your checking and routing number to set up the automated payment. All 3 credit bureaus reported a new account without even paying the program fee so I was excited I was getting closer to using my card. Once the time frame got closer, I questioned why I didn’t see the payment taken from my account. I logged in and noticed it was declined. Confusing. I entered my numbers again, same result. I had scheduled surgery so I figured I’ll call them again before the due date. My application had been denied due to nonpayment which is crazy because I had funds more than enough to cover but on their end they didn’t accept. The lady then tells me to apply again so I get off the phone, apply hesitantly, and of course get a denial because it’s been “within 60 days” such a SCAM. They won’t help you and insisted that it was a debit card number and never bank account information as if I’m making this sh*t up. I’m so pissed and want to dispute this whole situation. Now I have a closed account on my report and 2 extra inquiries for no damn reason. Trash ass company stay away. I hope people do their research because we’re all saying the same thing.

Total Scam Company!!!

I opened Revvi Card as a Credit Karma suggestion to rebuild my credit. Supposedly you have to pay all fees prior to use of card. I paid all fees ON TIME up to a zero balance. I tried to use the card at several different WELL KNOWN vendors (example Walmart, Amazon, etc)... the card declined EVERY TIME, stating invalid card or error. I contacted customer service several times and their only explanation was that everything looks fine on their end...wait 15 minutes and re try the card and make sure youre putting in the right numbers. NO help at all... I even emailed them asking for a manager, no return email and customer service will not connect you to anyone of management. I reported them to BBB and I would at least like my money back. This is horrible.

Wow lesson learned I will for sure…

Wow lesson learned I will for sure start reading reviews before I spend my money on another card. As everyone else is stating this card is Bull crap I had my purse stolen called my card in as stolen back in March needless to say it's now June and I am still waiting for a new card when I called to ask what the deal is I was informed that I am over my limit well I should have never had to pay 125 dollars for my new card to be shipped and yet I did when I reported the card stolen I should not have been charged anything until I got the new card and was able to use it they make it out like I have to pay off what the thief ran up on my stolen card I've never been so appalled

Scam do not sign up!!!!

I honestly regret signing up for this credit card. The company advertises itself in a way that makes it seem helpful for rebuilding credit, but what they don’t make clear upfront is how quickly the hidden fees eat up your already tiny credit limit. Between the program fee, annual fee, and other charges that were never clearly explained, I’ve already paid nearly $200 just to end up with a $300 limit. It feels extremely misleading and predatory.

This company takes advantage of people who are already trying to improve their financial situation by burying excessive fees in the fine print. What looks like an opportunity to rebuild credit quickly turns into a situation where you’re paying outrageous amounts just to keep the account open.

To make matters worse, customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional when I called with concerns. Instead of helping, they made the experience even more frustrating. I feel completely taken advantage of and wish I had never opened this account in the first place. At this point, I’m trying to get out before I even really get started. Absolutely not worth it. I feel scammed.

Don't use Revvi

Do not and mean do not with my whole chest use revvi. You'll use $50 right out the door on your credit line. You will not receive your full line of credit. They'll try and spin how your charged. They'll refuse to acknowledge that their not giving the full line of credit.
Save yourself the $100 act fee. Definitely does not improve your credit.

Zero stars!

Zero stars! I've only had this card a few months, and every time I make a payment it takes days for it to reflect on my account. Then for some unknown reason when j go to use my card it gets declined. On the app it shows my payment, but my available credit is 0.
Customer service is a joke! You have to press 1 for english, only to get an agent who barely speaks it.
