This is my first OBD reader. For years, I felt blind about what was happening with my cars—whether a code didn't show up on the dashboard or when a check engine light actually came on. I couldn't be happier with this fantastic tool. As a first-time user, I am really impressed with all the data I can see and understand. Thanks to its simplicity and intuitive user interface, menus navigation, it is user-friendly, and the screen quality is excellent for its 2.8in LCD size. I also really appreciate that it comes with a physical instruction manual instead of forcing you to download a PDF file like other brands do.
I have three cars: a 2013 Subaru Forester, a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek, and a 2020 Kia Sportage. I was eager to try this reader on all three and ended up learning a lot. For example, I discovered the Sportage had been having low voltage issues for quite a while, which I wasn't aware of because there was no dashboard error. It turns out that the LoJack tracking device installed on the vehicle was draining too much power from the battery while the engine was off. I was able to fix this immediately by extending the unit's polling time!
Meanwhile, the Forester reported a 10-degree higher engine temperature than normal, which is something I now know to address by replacing the coolant or checking the fans. I dare say that thanks to the Rexing OBD II, I saved myself from potentially getting stranded on the highway.
This reader is truly plug-and-play. There is no setup required—you just connect it to the car’s OBD port and that’s it. It doesn't require internet access, creating a user account, or the process of gathering data first and then connect to a computer in order to read the codes. You don't have to deal with Bluetooth pairing or installing a smartphone app just to access your data like you do with other units. Thanks to the built-in display, I can see live data. Best of all, it doesn’t need batteries, and I can easily clear check engine light or emission codes without having to disconnect the car battery to clear error codes as I used to do before getting this reader.
I already own a few other Rexing devices (a dashcam and a wireless car adapter), and all of them work great. It is a reputable brand with quality products, and this reader is no exception. The Rexing OBD II is a very affordable, useful tool that you can easily keep in your car or truck to quickly diagnose issues on the fly. I am incredibly pleased with this reader!

I spent weeks comparing dash cams before deciding on the Rexing C4, and after putting it through daily commutes, highway driving, and nighttime runs, the overall image quality and ease of use completely blew me away for the price point.

Mounting the unit was very straightforward-tucking the wiring cleanly took me about 40 minutes in my driveway, and once plugged in, the hardware was ready to roll. From that point forward, what truly stood out was how painless it was to set up and how sharp the recording performance is across all four channels.

Great product would definitely buy again

Haven’t tried out the charging ports yet, but the radio adapter works great. Love the bass enhancement and the audio’s nice and crisp. The “hands free” dial thing in the middle is pretty useful too

The camera doesn't always respond to its commands and frequently shuts down and restarts. This happens with the vehicle on and entering and exiting the vehicle. Ive had no time due to work to contact support, but it is very annoying. It has actually happened since it came out of the box. Only a few weeks ago, date unknown at this time.

Your active attention to my recent order was quick. I am the one that messed this order up. I lost my wife on July 1st of this year. I lost my best Master Chief in August, And I lost my oldest sister last week and her funeral was Saturday 9/19/26. Between my Rexing gear and my brother's Rexing gear, I have enough stuff to give as a gift this week on Thursday 9/24/26. I will be placing another order of a case and other items from Rexing to hopefully use on our Veterans Hunt in mid October, here in Louisiana USA. Your products work great! Thus. Easy to use, great addition to any toolbox

I am very happy with this Rexing Scanner and Engine Code Reader. It is very easy to use and set up. It quickly reads engine codes without any hesitation or hassle. The display is clear and it helps to quickly determine what the issue is with your vehicle. It is defintely a great tool to have on hand any time a warning light pops up on your dash. It is a outstanding addition to any toolbox and a great value for the price. I highly recommend this product. I really cannot say that I don't like anything about this product. I have only had positive experiences with it. I am a home garage mechanic and I like try to diagnose what is wrong with my vehicle before I have to bring it to the mechanic. If its something I can fix myself I would rather do that then have to pay someone a ton of money to fix something I can do myself. I highly recommend this product.

Originally, when I hooked it up, the screen showed all the apps. Then the second time I went to use it the screen comes on for about 30 seconds and then goes black also you have no forward or backwards advance off your steering wheel controls for song selection.

I like the product but you failed to include the most expensive part of my order in the shipment and are not very forthcoming in rectifying the error.
