The Joyful Breath is a practice space dedicated to breathwork, functional breathing education and somatic coaching, integrating contemporary science with premodern traditions of embodiment. The method draws from respiratory physiology, somatic psychology and trauma informed approaches, while also incorporating elements from tantric and non dual lineages where the body is understood as a field of sensation, awareness and energetic coherence. The project is rooted in three dimensions: breath, body and human connection. Breathwork includes functional breathing training, Buteyko based protocols for asthma and anxiety, conscious breath awareness and rebirthing inspired deep breathing processes. These practices are supported by principles found in classical Haṭha Yoga and tantric understandings of prāṇa, where breath, attention and subtle sensation are considered gateways to nervous system regulation and expanded availability. Somatic practices focus on grounding, interoception and embodied presence, helping clients recognise patterns of tension, collapse or hyperactivation and reorganise them through direct experience. This combines modern somatic methods with premodern contemplative frameworks that treat sensation as the primary access point to stability, clarity and integration. Relational work supports clients in exploring contact, boundaries and authentic expression in a structured environment. This aspect is informed by contemporary relational neuroscience and by tantric insights on the fluidity of identity and the transformative potential of presence within human connection. Services include one to one sessions, group workshops, breathwork intensives and educational programs on functional breathing, somatic awareness and self regulation. Areas of focus include stress reduction, panic and anxiety patterns, sleep improvement, emotional processing, athletic performance optimisation, chronic breathing dysfunctions and long term autonomic balance. All sessions are personalised and oriented toward developing real autonomy, not dependence on the facilitator. The Joyful Breath offers an evidence informed and experientially grounded approach that bridges modern somatic science with premodern contemplative traditions, supporting clients in cultivating resilience, clarity and an integrated mind body relationship.

I worked with Riccardo during several Transpersonal Rebirth Breathing sessions. He was able to clearly explain the physiological principles and psychological processes underlying this practice in great detail. He guided the group with professionalism and sensitivity, never being intrusive or overly controlling. I would definitely recommend him.

The power of Breathwork

I just arrived home after 1 month of training muay Thai in Thailand. I did a boothcamp over there. Innitialy, only for training, i didn't want to do a fight but after 2 weeks in they asked me if i wanted a fight and without thinking this through i accepted. Physically i was in good shape but my stamina was just not there. I met Riccardo and he understood the assignment and thaught me the importance of Oxygen regulation. What seemed to be An almost impossible Task was made possible by breathwork exercises and leveling up my Bolt score. The fight was a win and i didn't ran out of oxygen. I'm still practicing and love my new skillset! Would definetly recommend! 100%!

Thanks for everything!

More than words can express

A simple act like breathing, or feeling what is, becomes a portal to something immediate and true, something the body often knows far better than the mind.
Riccardo is a precise and gentle guide into the discovery that we are not something to be corrected, but aliveness and intelligence to be inhabited. He led me, with surprising simplicity, to experience a new way of being with anxiety, listening to it, listening to myself present within it, not fighting it, but navigating it through my breath.
Riccardo's dedication comes from a deep and authentic place, which is felt from the very first contact with him, rooted in an intimate, personal relationship with what he teaches, and sustained by a solid and eclectic training.
