Richmond Containers are fab!

Richmond Containers are very helpful and responsive if we ever have any queries with products to order. The team always gets back to us quickly and are very friendly and helpful.

Top quality and customer service.

Having used many packaging suppliers, I was so happy to find Richmond Containers as their bottles and jars are of the highest quality. They have really elevated my skincare offering. The team are always so helpful and despite living on the Isles of Scilly and the glass packaging travelling on two boats, everything always arrived in pristine condition.

We have used Richmond Containers for…

We have used Richmond Containers for the past 6 years because the quality of their bottles, we are a small business based in Northern England and like the fact it’s UK based and like to support UK business. We have seen changes within Richmond and have adapted to any changes, the sales department are always on hand to help and this is huge for us as sometimes you just need to talk to someone for help and there is always someone to help, with a friendly, professional manner and always resolve any issues we may have.

Good

I've always had a good experience with Richmond. Products are good and so is customer service. Delivery is usually quite quick. I haven't given them 5 stars for a couple of reasons. I have ordered items in the past (pump atomisers) and only after going through the checkout process have been told the item is not actually in stock, sometimes they are not going to be available for many months! So I've then had to ask to cancel the order and get a refund. If something isn't in stock I think the website should reflect that. Don't take quite large amounts of money for something you don't have. I also don't like the £50 charge they add if you don't meet the minimum order, which for a small business like us is quite difficult.

Credit where it’s due cracking team

Am on site often doin deliveries and honestly the warehouse guys are class every time am in. always sorted, always helpful and just easy to deal with makes ma job a lot easier when folk just crack on and know what they’re doing

was back in again the day and thought they deserved a wee shout oot everything ran smooth no messing aboot and still had time for a bit chat as well

Unprofessional

From my very first day at Richmond, it was clear that the warehouse environment suffered from serious leadership and organisational issues. I was not made to feel welcome; the warehouse manager arrived late to his shift, and my induction was handed off to a member of the production team. This set an unprofessional tone that unfortunately continued throughout my time there.
While the production and office staff were consistently excellent — supportive, friendly, and committed — the warehouse team presented a stark contrast. The atmosphere was rude, distant, and noticeably dysfunctional. I received almost no meaningful training on the ordering system, and the limited guidance I did get was inadequate.
Despite being hired for the warehouse, I was repeatedly moved into production to cover busy periods, while warehouse staff took unofficial breaks, left early, or avoided helping altogether. This created an unfair and imbalanced workload, and it became clear that I was not being given a genuine opportunity to succeed in the role I was hired for.
The core issue stemmed from the warehouse manager. Their lack of communication skills, unwillingness to take responsibility, and inability to lead had created a toxic environment that affected both morale and productivity. The absence of structure, accountability, and basic professionalism made the warehouse an unnecessarily difficult place to work.

Wow what a great place to work - leading rigid packaging provider of bottles, jars & closures to the cosmetics and beauty industry

Wow, what a company - a visit to Richmond's HQ in Glasgow showed that the offices & warehouse are modern and immaculate. Very welcoming staff; a credit to a great culture and a very generous employer. Products are fantastic and the service levels are very high. Obviously leaders in their industry and can see from Google reviews that it isn't only me that experienced this.

DON'T WORK HERE!

Don't wotk here. They will use you and the so called manager will discard you like trash and won't even have the decency to introduce himself to you. He's a coward who will stab you in the back before you get a chance to be settled in the job. With people like this in charge, the place should have a revolving door fitted for a huge turnover of staff!
I was a teamleader for 5 years and always gave new guys a few days to settle in before assessing them. I always spoke to them too. The agency lied to me and told me work had gone quiet to spare my feelings! I turned down job offers thinking l'd still got a job at Richmond! I'm furious with everyone for wasting my time!
