Purchased a house through Rickards, would recommend them to anyone selling/buying. Gillian kept us informed every step of the way, which is always helpful through a stressful process. They would be our point of call if we need them in the future! Thank you for everything!

Very disappointed after reading the lovely reviews rang on Saturday to book an appointment at 1pm no reply so thought they must be busy so rang again and 2.05 pm to message saying that the office was open on Saturday from 9am to 3pm ????
Eventually got a call on Monday booking my appointment for today at 2.45om arrived at 2.35 pm and waited for the agent until after 3pm .No one turned up no phone call .We had to leave as had another appointment at 3.30 and the agent was there promptly . Arrived home and have just received a voicemail mail apologizing however not impressed with the message left either

Rickard Morpeth branch held my hand throughout the buying process. From the intial viewing through to completion their service was not only professional but also had a really personal touch. I can't recommend them highly enough.

From coming out to value our property the team at Rickards Morpeth was very professional & friendly and took the time to discuss everything with us. Going through the sale the team were on hand to answer any questions in a timely manner and nothing was too much trouble. Our main contact was Gillian who kept us informed every step of the way. Being able to pop into the shop and see someone is an absolute bonus. Would highly recommend Rickards and if we were moving again I wouldn’t use any other agents.

Recently bought a flat advertised by their Ashington branch. Helped me through every step and advised on issues as they came up with solicitors. When the process stalled, as it did a few times, I was able to go in and have a chat, which helped my sanity, and they even arranged for me to rent from the seller while the process limped on!! Really human and supportive, sympathetic. Happily the one troublesome neighbour in the block where I bought has since left, and I'm loving my humble pad. Sorry for delay in writing this!

Selling a house in Newbiggin By The Sea when you live in Southampton could be a little stressful but the team at Rickards kept us informed and couldn't have been more helpful during the "process" which helped no end.

Selling your house can be a big deal, and when things are straightforward I guess any Estate Agent can handle it. But when things are more complicated, as our sale was, you need experience. The team at Rickards went above and beyond to help our sale go through. In particular Cheryl who was excellent. Communication is key for good news and bad news & they kept us posted throughout. These guys know what they are doing! Fully recommend them.

Dawn helped me from start to completion always responding to my emails to help me out, completion day was stressful having to wait till 5pm to receive my key to my new property but Dawn rang around to help me out.

I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Whilst I was the purchaser this did not matter to the team. The friendliness and professionalism shines through. Every question and need was dealt with, with a smile.

I had more assistance from the seller’s estate agents than from my solicitors.

Really good estate agents, Dawn looked after me from start to finish which was very much appreciated as a first time buyer. Recommend Rickard as they are friendly and helpful and very quick to respond to emails - never felt like I was on my own :)

I arranged several viewings via the Ashington branch of Rickards and these were promptly and competently handled, including a second visit to a house in Lynemouth. When I found the house that was right for me my offer was promptly conveyed to the seller and their response communicated back to me. I wish the rest of the process had been as quick and efficient but that's solicitors for you (three were involved). Dawnie and her colleagues were all kind, courteous and helpful and helped calm my nerves at some fraught times. In hindsight these were fairly common bumps in the road but a friendly voice on the other end of the 'phone is still a big help at those times.

Amazing attention to detail and outstanding support throughout from very professional staff at the Morpeth office.

Having recently bought a property through Rickards I found Dawnie and the office staff all very helpful especially when we started having issues with the sellers solicitor. Dawnie helped chase the solicitor and get the deal over the line before the mortgage offer expired. If we ever sell we would be happy to use Rickards.

I should qualify the Ashington branch is the one to avoid. Using a photograph of next door's garden is a misrepresentation of the property for sale. Not only bad communication but no communication unless I contacted them and being told 3 times that documents were about to be sent over to legal when in fact nothing had happened!!!!!!! Not the way to sell property. Not professional nor truthful.

We recently sold our property through Rickards. We had an offer within 2 weeks and, although the sale process was long this was nothing to do with Rickards. They supported us throughout the process and were extremely good at keeping us informed.

I recently instructed Rickards in Ashington to sell a property on my behalf and was delighted with how they've managed the sale.

The property went on sale on the Saturday and by Monday I had some viewings lined up, the first of which made an acceptable offer and the sale was tied up within days.

The office staff were friendly, supportive and helpful throughout the process from Diane initially coming to carry out the valuation and take the photographs through the the girls in the office dealing with telephone calls and emails.

I would recommend Rickard as a selling agent to anyone looking to sell their property.

Amazing service from all the staff but in particular Cheryl. It was a stressful move made a lot less stressful by the team at Rickards. Would not use any other company for a house Sale.
