Issue resolved in under 24hrs

I had an issue where I couldn’t remove the belt and ended up stripping the threads on the combined belt ring/crank arm. Emailed support and got an email the next day from a very helpful Michelle who said someone would call me. Robin calls me a short time later and gives me good tips and advice on removing the belt, and that he’d also send me a replacement belt ring/crank arm free of charge.
This true blue, Aussie company really stands behind their quality products. Thanks for listening, providing exceptional support and being a local company that cares.
I have already clocked up over 500km on the bike and everything is running smooth, a pity the Glider is not available anymore as 16.5kg is pretty light for a bike that at first glance doesn’t look like an e-bike & I was thinking of getting another one.

Great so far

Delivery process was great, ordered it on the weekend, received it on Wednesday. The assembly manual was generic and not related to the bike so we had to download one online which was not difficult. All pieces and parts were there. First charge showed 100% but dropped to 83% as soon as we started the bike up.

First ride we travelled approx 30kms which included a few very steep hills. The pedal assist worked well. At the halfway point the battery had dropped to 50% and only engaged sporadically in the last 2kms even though it said there was still 18% remaining. The wife’s battery (a Fortis Ebike) sat on over 60% after the same ride so it appears hers can recharge on the run but not this one.

Took approx an hour and a half to charge to 80%. Due to reports of spontaneous combustion we only charge when we have time to stay nearby so not sure how long to charge completely or if it will hold a complete charge at all based on the drop that happened that first time.

I am trying to communicate with the supplier about missing parts on delivery but didn't get any reply from them.

Poor customer service and questions on stock availability

So disappointed with the customer service. I ordered a step through bike online for my daughters birthday on a Wednesday. Friday morning I received an email saying my order was being refunded and the bike was out of stock. The refund may take up to 5 days so I won’t have the money in time to buy her anything else in time for her birthday. Then I look online and they are advertising the same bike on other sites at a higher price…so it is still in stock! I called to get more info but the lady I spoke to just apologized and said she couldn’t do anything.

Assembly issues

The initial review was 5 stars because the bike was shipped quickly and the bike looks like good quality. I’m changing the review to 3 stars as the bike box was open when received and while all parts are there the front wheel doesn’t sit in the forks. Looks like the forks have been damaged or the bike assembled before and disassembled. Ignite have been good on the customer response saying it’s a courier damage issue but the process has been frustrating and I have to wait for replacement forks and then change the forks which I’m guessing not easy. The instructions are ok but not the clearest too. The multi tool also fell apart - end nut came off. I will update this review when I get the bike assembled.

Excellent customer service

We walked into the showroom to purchase a mirror. Glen served us and we walked out with a mirror AND an Ebike. Glen was fabulous. He explained everything to us wiht ease and passion.

Happy Hubby

I purchased this as a first time electric board for my husband and he loves it.
The kids also enjoy sharing it with too.
The postage was fast and overall a great experience with Rideignite.

Easy on line ordering

Easy on line ordering, arrived on quick smart time, assembly was really straightforward, manual provided on the box was hard to follow but online manuals were great. Looks smart

Instruction manual was Useless.

The instruction manual wasn’t much use. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to connect the front wheel. I should mention that just because we are not all bike geeks doesn’t mean we cannot read and follow a comprehensive user-friendly instruction manual. But apart from that ... 5 Stars for everything else !!!

Simple purchase, rapid response, easy collection

Purchase through the site was simple, and I used PayPal from the list of available payment options.
A couple of emails were needed to confirm my address so someone else couldn't collect instead of me (prevent fraud), which was good to see as a consumer, but was needed because I was picking up, and my address wasn't collected as part of the purchase due to choosing to pickup.
Collection was easy from the depot.
