My 8th gear was skipping pretty bad in the summer of 2024,, I got a bike shop to change the cassette and chain, I had about 1200 kms on it,, 2 weeks later the same thing started happening, got a tune up and now this year it's skipping in 8th gear again,, it's a piece of crap and I regret buying it and absolutely no customer support ever available

Do not buy Quest /iGO bikes

There is no local dealership and the Quest/iGO customer service is basically a secretary that knows nothing. They won't let you talk to the Tech department and the tech staff never respond. Best to avoid this bike brand and deal with a local bike shop that services what they sell.

Bought a Hub Motor E bike in January…

Bought a Hub Motor E bike in January 2023 Out riding in Sept 2023 and a bolt that holds the seat together broke in half while crossing an intersection causing the seat to fall off the bike and Ride quest would not cover the damage under warranty as they called it normal wear and tear. A faulty bolt breaking in half is not normal wear and tear its a faulty bolt. Very disappointed in the Customer service. department. Not happy at all

Bought a bike November 2022

Bought a bike November 2022. Battery failed spring 2023. Asked to get the battery replaced (18 month warranty). Was told that the warranty expires since June 2023 according to them makes the battery over 18 months old. Told them their math was incorrect and never heard from them again. Company fails to deliver on their warranty policy.

Update: eventually they caved and sent a new battery, so upped the review by 1 star.

2000.00 paperweight

Purchased a quest bike in July 2020. Two weeks after, the purchased bike started to fall apart. Breaks failed, gears stopped engaging, and many many other issues. Including the big one - the battery would pop out after riding over a twig. Contacted quest for help; at first, they denied all the issues. Saying, 'not possible, nothing is wrong with the bike.' I had to keep them emailing them. Of course, they stop replying. I try to return the bike to the place I bought it; they wouldn't take it back because of all the issues. I contacted quest yet again, they tell me to take it to a bike shop they recommend to be fix all the issues, and quest would cover the cost. I call the recommended shop to make the appt. Not only had the shop never heard of quest bikes, but they would also not touch the electrical because it wasn't their product. I take it in for the small fixes. Get an email to pick it up, forward it to quest to pay the bill. Get a reply confirmation from quest that it is paid. Go to pick it up, and not surprisingly.. the repairs were not paid yet, and quest has never contacted the shop. At this point, I look like an idiot. So thank you quest for that.... another email sent to quest to basically yell them. barely apologetic - they did not care. All of this was happening 1.5 months into owning this 2000.00 paperweight. A few months they contact me again to ask about the bike. Have to go over the full process again. Again, they offer a new bike shop to take it to. I call to book.. of course, the same thing - never heard of quest. I had to go to twitter and tag them, the store I bought it from, and a news outlet to get my refund. 10 months of a headache, frustrations and wondering if i wasted my money. stay far far away from this joke of a company.
