Quick and helpful responses in regards to a question on scheduling an installation.
I’m in Australia and was led to believe that I was paying an Australian business for this product. I was charged a $7 international transaction fee 🤬. Contacted the Australian distributors about this and have yet to receive a response after 4 weeks. As for the product looks complicated and time consuming to apply. Wish I did not waste my money on this product,$200 for pretty much a large complicated jigsaw phone cover. I’ll buy another product that’s easier to apply and cheaper. NEVER AGAIN would I buy from Ridewrap.
Just ordered my third tailored kit for my 2020 Yeti SB150. Only one scratch in 5.5 years is awesome!!!!! Keep doing what you do.
My experience was pretty flawless. I chose a tailored kit for my expensive bike. It has arrived from Germany in a few days time (so I didn’t have to pay tolls and taxes). The cutouts fit perfectly, even if too tightly in some places. The larger parts are harder to fit, but it’s standard experience as if applying any other protection film on a 3d surface. I really appreciated the high quality fitting kit shipped, and the 3d model prints that made figuring out what goes where a breeze. I see this taking me a few days, as I only managed 1/4 of the bike in 5 hours (some of which was prep). All in all, fitting a film is never pleasant, easy or quick, but Ridewrap has made it as easy as possible.
Got a kit for my Nukeproof Dissent. The kit fit perfectly and came with everything needed to install (except for a spray bottle that I got for £3 on Amazon) and very clear instructions. With patience and following the instructions the kit was easy enough to install (although it does take a few hours to do to a high standard if it is your first time). Overall would recommend.
The package was missing cleaning wipes for pre-assembly, a squeegee, and the essential concentrate for the assembly solution. For €200, this is outrageous. I've been waiting for a response for a week and I want to test my new bike. Not recommended!
Product is complicated to install, I live near one of the shops(Whistler), I went by and they will not do the installation since it isn't a custom kit. Super disappointed and never going to use the wrap. I would seriously think twice about ever buying anything from them for my other bikes
Listen to the reviews. I gave them all the information needed for my bike. Make, model, size, etc. Why ask for the details of my bike? They gave me a wrap thats way too big for my bike. Paid a premium for a premium product. I talked to customer service and sent them pictures of the problem. No contact after that. Been more than 3 weeks. Be careful buying from these guys.
Worst customer service ever. Pit all details in for my bike and ended up with a universal kit that doesn't fit. They say its my fault but why ask me all the details about my bike and then list products that don't fit. There very misleading and would never recommend them
The premium price tag on their product is for the quality and the customization to your type of frame. However, you still need to possibly cut your wrap stickers.... How does that make any sense? Why ask for the size of your bike and all the specs of the wrap needs cutting? I had to cut the down tube wrap because it was too long. The seat tube wrap was not even useable because the entire piece was too big and if I cut it in half it would look ugly as hell.
I'm very disappointed with this kit. I bought the Covered set for my Trek Fuel Ex 8 Gen 6. Some parts barely fit the frame, but I patiently managed by trimming the films. I should point out that my bike has a protection under the frame, made of porous plastic, to prevent damage to the frame itself from impacts. After placing the upper films, I prepared to place the protections under the frame, but obviously the film didn't stick to the porous plastic. I wrote to their customer service to complain that the largest and most important film in the kit was completely useless and that it would have been smarter to add side films for the frame's lower tube to the kit. They replied that I should have removed the downtube guard and installed the film BEHIND it. What exactly is the purpose of installing it behind the downtube guard? In any case, I'll soon talk about this unpleasant experience in detail on my channel.
An unethical company that is set up with a bot and won't let you change or cancel your order, but ships it automatically. To return it, they would charge a 35% restocking fee. Their prices are higher the competition also.
During install piece 17 ripped while taking it off the sticker sheet. This was in no way my fault and i was a careful as possible. When i got into contact with customer service saying the piece was faulty i was sent a link where i will now have to pay to get the piece replaced at the cost of £29.
Also the customer service is very slow and you should not expect to get a response within the stated maximum of 3 days.
