Ridstar will not honor Q20 Ebike Recall-it is listed in Consumer Protection

This company is horrible. I bought Ebike thru Amazon and it has been recalled. Amazon no longer supports Ridstar. However, before this happened, the motor blew. I had to contact Ridstar directly because Amazon said that is what I had to do. Now, the Ridstar Q20 has been recalled and Ridstar will not honor this recall. It has a battery defect. They are very uncooperative and refuse to help. This company should be put out of business. Do yourself a favor, and don’t buy a Ridstar Ebike!!! The motor blew and now a defective battery. They are costly. You have to get parts from this company located in China which makes it impossible to deal with. I hear they don’t care and will just close down and reopen somewhere else. Apparently, this company does not have a good reputation.

I purchased an item for $189 which…

I purchased an item for $189 from ridstar-ebike.com which never came, and was labled as "Hold for instructions", by the delivery service, as the seller never released the package for redelivery. The package was then sent back to the seller so they could attempt to charge me an additional $200 fee. This site claims to be the "Official" Ridstar website, however Ridstar states they are not. I was in contact with the websites customer service online 17 times, with no resolve. I believe the website itself to be a scam seller.
