This company deserves minus stars

This company deserves minus stars. Worst company I have dealt with in my life. File a small claims and report to trading standards if you have been ripped off by them. Still waiting for my money to be returned. They are just thieves who know the tricks to keep the consumers hard earned money which they have paid to a seemingly reputable company.

Extremely poor quality materials and a dubious and Pathetic attitude from complaint handling Managers.

After six months, the five-seater sofa, I had purchased began to tear. When I went to the store, the manager firstly, said it was just a regular wear and tear. After numerous enquiries and demonstrations that the material was obviously defective. She promised to speak with the suppliers, but it was a deliberate waste of time and delayeing tectics, they never replied to emails that they did not receive, even no timely response on the wtsapp and it is off now. A new manager showed some sympathy in the past month, but there is a change of management or ownership in process. I started this process in August, and the delaying tacticts are still being used that give us a week and couple of days etc.
once she offerd only three seater, I originally objected the offer of a three-seater, but when I consented, she began using the same tactics that she would discuss with the suppliers. Still waiting for their response, it has been over 10 days now. The sofa will be practically unuseable very soon; within a year time, it seems like a waste of over one thousand pounds. One of their shopfronts was sealed, observed during my most recent visit, I heard there are many other peole going through the same experience, I request everyone affected to come together for a collective action rather wasting time and money.

they don't even deserve one star they are liars and don't believe anything they say also never pay them first because i paid them for a bed three days ago for same day delivery and they still haven't delivered it. in addition to this i went to the shop today to fund out what’s happening they gave me their work that its already out and will be coming today 100% however there has been nothing delivered. also the number im calling they dint even answer

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!
Do not buy anything with this company. They will ask you to pay by cash o bank transfer which means you have no chance to get your money back.
Scammers, thieves and liars!!
The company is registered at Exchange Ilford and even though they know so many people have been ripped off they are allowing this company to continue to scam people. Over 2 months and still waiting for a refund or response. STAY AWAY!!

The service was overall good

The service was overall good, I was just not happy with the late deliveries coming after 6pm after being made to wait the whole afternoon. Of the 4 chairs I bought, 2 were delivered 1week later. Delivery scheduling needs to improve.

Incompetent management team


I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rifci and will never use their services again. I ordered a wardrobe and was given a specific delivery date, only to have the delivery delayed without proper communication. I wasted two whole days waiting, making countless calls to their customer service team, only to be misled about the status of my delivery.

On the new delivery date, the fitter arrived at 6:30 pm, which is completely unreasonable as I had to wait at home till this time and then for another hour while he fitted, and to make matters worse, the wardrobe was installed improperly,it’s not even level! I was assured a £50 compensation for the inconvenience, but when I followed up, they claimed there was a “communication barrier” and refused to honor their promise.

The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and shoddy workmanship have made this entire experience frustrating and stressful. If you value your time and money, I strongly recommend avoiding Rifci. Their management is incompetent and completely unhelpful.

This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

I have very bad experience with the…

I have very bad experience with the Rifci Revolutionary Furniture shop, Ilford branch. Their customer service is a painful experience. They have written the delivery will come 3 weeks time it came after more than 2 months, it supposed to be white but they delivered brown colour. I have gone though so much with them that I lost energy to try to get my money back. They are simply not worthy to talk. I just wish I would not buy from them. The lady manager is so rude. Please think twice before you deal with them.

This is the worse furniture shop I've…

This is the worse furniture shop I've come across. I ordered a wardrobe from them and I advised them at the time that I would be taking time from work so if the wardrobe would not be ready for delivery and assembly on the Thursday 22nd June 2023 I would need to cancelled they assured me that it would be.

On the day of delivery I had to call "them" twice only to be told that they are due a delivery but sometime it don't come - not there fault manufacture.

It eventually came after waiting in all day - then I was told that I had to wait for the person who was going to assembly the unit - he came about 4pm started to assemble but then advised that the wheels were missing and he could not finish the job - so he left at about 5pm and advised "dont worry someone is coming with the wheels to finish - here his number".

I called the number I was given and that person told me he can't talk his in the hospital - the wheels are missing call the manufacture; at this point he gave me another number to call - I called and was then told by the very rude manager at Barking "it not his fault things happen" I have to wait until tomorrow.

The next day I went to the shop in the morning had to call my work and cancel a doctors appointment to wait in again for the person to come with the wheels for the door - when they came at 11am it was the wrong wheels - another person came with another set of wheel just after mid and it was the wrong wheels again - this time they both left and assured me that someone would be back by 2pm with the right wheels.

On one showed up until after 4pm......................2 days for the wardrobe to be assembled.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY - DO NOT GO INTO THE BARKING SHOP......THE MANAGER IS A LIAR AND HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - HIS ANSWER TO EVERYTHING "ITS NOT MY FAULT"...........

Paid £1750 for sofa it’s been almost…

Paid £1750 for sofa it’s been almost five months and still no sofa and no phone number to contact because all the previous numbers don’t ring they’ve now closed the shop and moved somewhere else to scam others of their money PLEASE AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!
I wanted a particular sofa but I was told they did not have it in stock and was to take the other sofa because they had plenty in stock and I would have it the next week yet one month later I still did on have my sofa I did not cancel my order nor did they attempt any delivery, on the 13 of December I was told they did not have my sofa ready later on that day some guy called me to say he was going to deliver I told him I was not available as was at an appointment with my child I have not heard anything else from these thieves since I told the manager on the phone that they either deliver my sofa or give me back my money to which she replied that the only way I’ll get my money back is through the bank and they will challenge it then she put the phone down on me then they claim the attempted delivery where is the proof I don’t understand how people can do this almost five months and my children are sitting on the floor because these people stole my money…. If they genuinely had a sofa to give me why have they not been in touch to deliver my sofa they still have my £1750 PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY LIE AND THEY STEAL

First of all I would like to bring to your attention which you know as well that we did try to attempt your delivery on two occasion,you visited the store and cancelled the order where we tried to explain you that it was special made order and cannot be cancelled. You still insisted that now you do not want it and we adhere your wish.I am sure you still have the email trail which happened between you and the company.
The company has not ran away and we had posters in store since 10 Dec 2022 that we were closing and alternate number was posted in store and shopping centre had that as well.
We have informed all the customers about our move and also made them aware of our new location, so accusing of us running away is not correct.You are very well aware that delivery was attempted and you refused to accept it on the day
If you have any issues / concern kindly email us and will have a look again.
I would like to point out the email dates on 13 Dec 2022 where confirmation was clearly given that delivery will be still attempted.I still have the call log where the driver called you and you clearly refused the delivery and put down the phone on him. We adhered the delivery date as mentioned on the invoice but you refused the delivery and didn’t want it, everything was explained to you and we are more then happy to deliver your sofa.Thr delivery was refused by yourself and you were not willing to accept the sofa
So instead of blaming us and accusing of something which we haven’t done would appreciate if you could get in touch.You always had our email address where you could have got in touch.
We are not a company which will just ran away but are here for business,so I would kindly request to consider all the facts before assuming anything

Sam & Harry in this shop are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble & I should know as I placed my order then 2 days later changed my mind. They cancelled it with no problem, no aggravation & then helped me by searching through catalogues to find exactly what I wanted. A big thank you to you both & can’t wait to see the furniture in my home xx
