Spend your money elsewhere

Got a new bike 20 plate. Picked it up Saturday, Sunday it’s dead!! Contacted seller he accused me of leaving the lights on and was very aggressive. I managed to recharge the battery yesterday. Today again the bike is dead!! So not because of “headlights being on” as I’ve been accused. They’ve obviously not wired something correctly but now want £100 to pick the bike up! No offer of free collection or there wouldn’t have been a problem.. just accusations thrown at me. They have also refused a refund which under the Consumer rights act 2015 I am entitled to. Complete rouges. Trading standards have been notified.

Its reviews like this that make a mockery of the whole review system. You collected your bike from us on Saturday and shortly afterwards posted pics on facebook of the bike with headlight on and no keys in ignition. This will flatten any bikes battery within an hour or so. You messaged us ALL DAY SUNDAY complaining. We offered to come collect the bike free of charge, check it over and repair any fault free of charge on the Monday. However, your pics on facebook clearly show it to be User error, which would mean a £50 (not £100 - more lies) call out fee. If there is a fault we will still fix for free. The choice is yours. as is telling damaging lies about a company.

RightGear Motorcycles suck. I sent off my bike to get fix and it came back with oil leak, broken throttle and brake switch. I would stay away from these cowboys! if I was you and they keep blocking ppl on facebook who say anything bad.

Update
PM reply from them
"Lies. And deformation of character. See you in court.
No shop works harder for learners than us. Ridiculous"

And I have the tex informing them about the damage they did to the bike and they end up blocking us instead of putting things right

ZERO STARS

Well over a week still and Graham has still got my £1875 and refusing to give it back after helping himself to the full amount of a bike he’s still waiting until the end of the month for. I agreed to put £100 deposit down on it and a couple days later the full amount is taken out. On the 4th November he said he’d give me a “full refund” and “aplogies” (his spelling) and that it would take 24 hours to get back to me. It’s been nearly a week now, still no money, no contact from him he’s ignoring my calls and he’s threatened to take me to court if I don’t take a review down that warn people of him. Just avoid this place and getting scammed like I have.

No Scam! Gotta love clear lies and multiple reviews all over the net from multiple people for just the one person - ridiculous. You purchased a bike 26th October knowing Lexmoto wont have it in stock until 27th November. I even suggested calling round nearer to home! A week later you decide to cancel the order. I accepted the cancelling of the order and have refunded you. Talk to your card company.

As for the lies, you and friends are putting to print that does harm small businesses and therefore when as unjustified as your lies are, there has o be a consequence. So yes, see you in court.

Avoid this "company".

My boyfriend received disgusting service after having £1800 taken out of his bank for a bike he had not received for a month. He was ignored and brushed off by Graham (the supposed owner) despite calling him daily to get his money back and is now having to go through the bank to retrieve his money. Do not buy from this "company", the service is non-existent and "professionalism" is laughable.

Never again

Dropped my motorbike off to rightgear in Iver with an electrical charging fault, got diagnosed very fast with a faulty stator then had to wait 11 days (9 working) because apparently that is how long you have to wait for a part that normally gets delivered the next working day and which can be found (genuine or after market) almost everywhere you look; every time I called I've been told the part is hard to find at the right price ;eventually went and picked it up, matey from the rear of the shop rode it up to the front with his hands covered in oil and black stuff and had a smile on his face when I pointed that up; on top of all this the 'mechanics' left a loose bolt in my left hand fairing, a cable unplugged and I cannot find the little plug left through the hole in the same fairing for my trickle charger, great stuff from proper professionals, never again!!

Update. Lies. You had to be removed from the premises. Your bike has been stored for 3 months. We issues court proceedings against you today for unpaid invoices. You have not even seen your bike ! I have never dealt with anyone like you either professionally or otherwise.

This is hilarious. You drop us a bike and we say it needs a new cylinder head which is not made any more. And for the record we have never had dealings with you or the machine before. You finally get the head to us so we order gaskets needed. You then come to the shop and behave so badly we asked you to leave to the point you had to be removed. We gave you a week to collect your bike until storage charges started being added. You refuse to collect you fixed bike. You refuse to pay storage charges. You keep saying you want to take us to court but so far nothing. And now you are guilty of deformation of character with zero grounds. Pay What you owe and stop posting complete lies.

couldn't highly praise the service enough that Graham and his workers do on my bike, they have installed and fixed many things on my motorbike. I've learnt so much from Graham as his knowledge is very in depth. I've used other repair companies, but will only trust Right Gear to fix my motorbike, plus the pricing is very honest. I have been ripped off at other dealers.

I bought a brand new scooter 2 months …

I bought a brand new scooter 2 months ago, it broke after one week and I had it repaired for the same problem 3 times. It is quite frustrating to deal with them, they NEVER answer or return your calls. Although they promised me they would have fixed it and upgraded it for free I requested a refund as the item was clearly not fit for use and I didn't feel safe. They became very aggressive and instead of an apology they denied all our agreements and started to say I have abused the scooter and called me a lair ....!!
I am not used to this kind of service, to be honest. I am 41 years old, not a teenager and only commute 7 miles a day on a very straight and easy road. Do not buy their products. Bunch of amateurs that have no idea what business and customer service is -- After having published this review on yell.co.uk, I have been blackmailed by the company that I either remove my comment or they would have refused any support. I have then contacted another brand seller explaining my problem and they interrupted me saying 'oh I know exactly who you are talking about, Graham, yes he is a well known bully' this says a lot! ... they have already arranged a pick up, repair and delivery of my scooter under warranty. Finally some professionalism...

Crazy. Just crazy.
You brought one of the most popular scooters available for sale. Reliable and robust. Also, they are pretty good at wheelies! I warned you we get 16 year olds in with damaged front wheel bearings from doing lots of wheelies! I warned you if you managed to damage them yourself it would not be covered under warranty and you would need to get them fixed asap! As if you ride with damaged bearings it wrecks the spacer between them.

I called you out of courtesy 2 weeks after getting the bike to check all ok. You said the wheel bearings where damaged! I asked you to come in asap. I called and called and called and eventually you came in. Spacer had been worn down by over 10mm!!! Never seen so bad. Lexmoto did not have spacer in stock. We said happy to make up a spacer for you at small charge. You refused to pay.

In short, we offered great customer service and various repair options. You admitted to damaging the bike by hitting speed humps flat out. YOu wrecked your bike. Refused to pay to fix it. Now you leave damaging reviews! Ridiculous Assia

A rather bad experience

Emailed them late Wednesday night on 09/04 about DAS training. Surprisingly got a call back from Graham really quickly the next morning. He was very courteous and detailed about what is required to obtain a full license (theory, CBT, module 1/2, etc), so I went ahead and made a CBT booking with him for Friday 18/04 — yes, on Good Friday. I was told to arrive at 8am on the day.

So, this morning (18/04) I showed up all excited, ready to start my first motorcycle training. I had difficulty finding their shop at first, there was no business sign anywhere. Luckily I happened to see a gentleman coming out of another unit, and he pointed me where to go. The shop is an industrial warehouse unit. I knocked on the warehouse shutter and office door. To my horror, there was no one there! I then rang their office number, no answer. And Graham's mobile number went straight to voicemail. And to think that I actually changed my Easter holiday plans for this! I was absolutely furious. In the whole 7 days leading up to the booking, I have not been contacted once to tell me the booking was cancelled, neither by email or phone!

I just thought I should share my experience. I left a voicemail with Graham, so I'll see if and how he responds. Very disappointed.
