The support team on this occasion did come back to me after raising the query just after 8am, in recent times it has been after 9am before any contact. However, i have spent far too much time on a problem created by Rightmove and i have had to manage customer expectations too. We consider monthly charges for the portal are far too high, On The Market are half the price with a much better user interface.

Currently in the process of moving out and they are making our lives difficult. Kept getting messages stating that my application isn't completed when I have screenshots proving it's complete. They also requested for physical copies of our identification and proof of address. Weather this is company policy or not, we both live in different cities and financially we can't travel to the office just so they can see a physical copy.

Re there reply he is a wild suggest how about reading my comments before posting a response that is sure to upset me. I know what “offers only” means that IS my complaint i don’t want them in my results. Because if I have only got £200k funnily enough I cant afford a house for £201k! Its called common sense.

Rightmove the platform that landlords use to put a property up for rent even through they have already rented it out. We are looking to rent a bungalow in Norfolk/Suffolk area and found an idea place Mount Pleasant, Woodbridge, IP13 Property Reference: 2942745. through OpenRent letting agent. So we filled in the online forms and sent them off and had a reply from the guy who owns that bungalow to say they were organising viewings the following week.
Next day OpenRent informed us by email that the owner had accepted a deposit on the 2 bed property.
So beware that a property for rent on Rightmove has gone as soon as it's put up. A total waste of time looking on Rightmove.

I am due to sell my property and Rightmove historical data is incorrect as they missed off my purchase back in 2009 it therefore makes the house look 30K cheaper than it actually was . They have the house listed as leasehold when it is freehold. I tried to rectify these issues but it appears you cannot and Rightmove customer care doesn't exist. Do not believe these sites (and Zoopla) as they are factually incorrect.
Thank you for responding Rightmove. I followed the steps as outlined in your email below and the correct details ARE on the HM land registry site ...that begs the question why is your information so wrong?

I’ve come across homes on Rightmove with descriptions that are simply not accurate — in some cases, completely bogus. When you take the time to report these issues, you’d expect a proper investigation or at least a meaningful response. Instead, the replies feel dismissive, as if the concern is being brushed aside rather than addressed.....

A good website but watch out for agents asking you to complete your enquiries when you respond to property ads. If you have provided them the information they have asked for on Rightmove's website then that should be enough. Beware too of brokers fishing for information which is not really required for your mortgage application. One more thing if you are not prepared for a barrage of phone calls from agents don't give them your phone number.

Rightmove Reference Service is one one of the worst, if not the worst.
They had me for a whole 2 days asking for various documents like Bank Statement, Payslip and Proof of Savings only to decline my friend's application. I was acting as his guarantor. As Night Manager for a private hospital l earn well about the UK Median Annual Salary, yet they would consider alll that. They have no humanity in them. They act like money minded automatons without common sense. They are gods of money. One day their company will be no more.
