I’ve purchased rimblades twice. I like the older generation clip more than the new one. The rubber wheel is excellent for removing the glue residue. You can get it for less from Amazon. I highly recommend a wallpaper roller to roll over the blade after you make your adhesion. In general an excellent product. I believe it is the easiest on the market to apply.

Having an issue with peeling off after…
Having an issue with peeling off after a. Relatively short duration I’ve installed multiple sets successfully but latest couple are peeling away.
To add a couple of very slow speed kerb collisions these have provided very limited protection on a Mini Cooper. Porsche has failed better but more cosmetic for me.

Regarding the peeling you’ve described, we use genuine 3M automotive‑grade adhesive on all of our products. In our experience, peeling only occurs when the surface was not thoroughly cleaned and prepared prior to application. We include detailed fitting instructions to help avoid this issue and are always happy to offer guidance if needed.
We’re sorry to hear about the slow‑speed kerb incidents, but it’s important to note that while our products offer protection against minor scuffs and scrapes, they can’t prevent all damage in every scenario.
Based on your history of successful installations and satisfaction with previous sets, we feel this 1‑star rating doesn’t fairly reflect your overall experience with us. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’re disappointed with the version you received. It appears that the incorrect item was ordered by you—our original curved Rimblades were purchased instead of the Rimsavers, which are designed for the outer edge.
When you reached out to us, we explained this and provided instructions for an exchange, including our return address and a request to include a note so we could send the correct product. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear back from you, so we haven’t been able to assist further.
If you’d still like to exchange for the Rimsavers, we’d be happy to help—just follow up with us via email and we’ll get it sorted as quickly as possible.
Temperature causes problems
The product is starting to shrink or the tape is losing it's adhesive. Probably caused by a combination of heat from weather and heat from wheels. I live in Southern California where the temperature reaches 90 degrees and up. Otherwise they look good.

Sorry to hear this. Genuine Rimblades products can't shrink or expand in extreme temperatures as we use a wire core embedded within the material to prevent this from happening. The 3M VHB tape is also designed to operate at extreme temperatures, however saying that we do warranty our products if you can reach out with proof of purchase.

Great product. I had purchased some years back for another car and the quality and service is just as good. Fast delivery and Easy to fit and so secure once settled. A great layer of protection without compromising the looks. Also capable of covering existing minor marks or scratches.

Unexpected fees and taxes after initial payment to Rimblades
Based on the reply from Rimblades, I guess it is my fault for not noticing that "import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees" were not included in my initial payment. As a result, I retract my review below. However, I will not delete it so others don't make the mistake I made. I will leave my rating as 3 stars, since I think it accurately reflects my experience. That said, this rating does not reflect the quality of the product which is great, though maybe a bit more expensive than I had expected. Thank you Rimblades for responding.
"I ordered from Canada. I was bit surprised to receive a payment due email from UPS for an additional 36.72 CAD in order to complete the delivery. This fee was labeled as fees and taxes. I guess it's my fault for assuming that my initial payment to Rimblades would cover all costs, including taxes. Had I been aware of this, I wouldn't have made the original purchase directly from Rimblades website."

I used to order these from Amazon but my color is no longer available which is disappointing,but I was able to purchase directly. Shipping was reasonable,about 5 days. I'm in the states,so crossing the pond I figured it would have taken much longer than it did. Now for the product,I've used 2 other styles of rim guard.rimblades are much easier to install,quick and clean and no worries about bead sealing like other products.i have rubbed a curb and they work better than expected,while the adhesive was a pain to clean off,but zero damage to my wheel.cleaned wheel and installed a new rimblade in under 30minutes. Good product I will continue to use these no question.
