I've been using rimuhosting for over 20 years to host a minimalist VPS where I maintain a very low-traffic neighborhood Wordpress blog and some other random personal web pages.

It's been VERY reliable with almost no unplanned outages in all that time (and the planned outages are completed very quickly) and when I've needed support (like today when I stupidly deleted an important mysql file while trying to clear some disk space) they are incredibly responsive and always able to quickly diagnose and fix my problem. It's really extraordinary service.

And it's inexpensive, too, at least for a really minimalist setup like mine. For my 751MB RAM / 6GB Disk / 6GB data transfer allowance VPS I currently pay US$7.18/month. I highly recommend them.

Always found rimu hosting very good, been using them for around 10 years for my business.
I recently made a few mistakes closing down VMs and removing the wrong things.
They were swift to respond and helped me fix all my issues which lets face is all you want.

They're a traditional hosting company, so understandable and reasonably priced, not cheap but understandable.

Tried a server here, it was ok. Nothing special.
Wasnt particularly fast for the application I wanted it for so have cancelled it now.
I reached out to their support, opening a ticket as required from within my user account as I wanted to work with them to see if there was anything they could do to speed up or tweak my server. Checked back a day or so later any my support request had been deleted, ignored with no trace of my request apart from an email confirmation existing in my inbox.

I am leaving this review purely on the fact that they didnt even bother to email me back and say, sorry we cant help, no, just deleted and ignored my support request. Not what you want from any hosting provider.
