I was scammed through Ring Twice
I was scammed through Ring Twice, and their handling of the matter has been unacceptable. Despite the evidence I provided, they refuse to take responsibility. They admit the individual was their provider, yet deny any obligation to resolve the situation.
The provider, Yassin, never showed up to complete the job, yet 60€ was still withdrawn from my account without my consent. On Ring Twice, customers are not required to sign off or confirm that a job has actually been carried out. This gives providers the ability to claim payment regardless of whether they delivered the service. That is precisely how this scam was enabled by Ring Twice’s system.
Despite my proof, and the absence of any proof from their provider, Ring Twice has not 'been able to' refund me as it's between me and 'their' provider.
The platform fails to protect its users, its processes enable fraud, and its customer service is 'unable' to resolve issues.
I strongly caution others against using this service.
