Making Ripoffs Seem Like Business

This company cannot improve because it specialises in ripping off people and when it is a pensioner and they stole BPS 1,200, that is gross! I was contacted by an Ex director of theirs, who read my comment that I was looking for a publisher. I had just published a book, but this one was not prose but poetry. I had the content ready with the index and introduction, as well as all the poems edited twice. I am 68 and besides editing my own literary magazine. I edited anthologies for the Canadian literary organisations. So, the book was editedtwice. First, I was contacted by a woman whose name I fogot, and she told me to enhance the book with photos. Professional poets do not use photos in their books, except their own because a good poet depicts his images in words. She kept insisting, and I sent her some photos. Then she sent me the contract which included editing and cover design which had been supplieed to me by a painter and friend of mine. I told her that the amount of money BPS 3000 was mor than double, I had agreed on LinkedIn with the director. Besides the book had everything ready and all it needed was launching on online bookshops. She took ages to answer and it was another colleague, who she said was her boss. I wondered how many bosses there are at British Book Publishing! Perhaps that's why the righthand does not know what the left hand is doing! He said he would send me a 'Revised' version of the content? But the book was already edited? The revised version consisted of many words in the MS which were capitalised and made bold? The words were so strong on their own they did not need to be bolding! I told him that I did say not to touch the MS. Weeks turned into months and when I saw that the only problem was that I was not going to spend any more money so that they could ruin my book. So, there was silence from their end and no reply. I asked for a full refund in the end and the guy said: "Too late for that!" As if the money had already been squandered. This company has a bad reputation and I remember it used to have five stars - now it's got four and as time goes by, and they continue swindling people, Trust Pilot will realise that even their membership fee, be what it may be, is not worth supporting thieves and ruining their own reputation. Become Writers' Guild Members and make sure you have a good lawyer. There are more frauds and scams than actual genuine publishers. I was an investgative crime reporter with The Times and BBP should know they will continue to be pursued, until I see their company close its doors. I managed to close De La Salle Univrsity in the 90s in the USA, using US journalists who were colleagues of mine and I will do same again.

ripoffreport.com is in fact a scammers…

ripoffreport.com is in fact a scammers site. Anyone can post anything they like on any person or company and they will put it on the site, then after a while contact the victim and demand money to remove it from the ripoff.com website. Anything you may read on this site do not believe it because it may just be bogus. The owners of ripoffreport.com were arrested for this and for a long while they were down but i see they are back up to the same illegal activities

Ripoff along with some Ripoff removal…

Ripoff along with some Ripoff removal companies have illegal scheme how to make money. So, Ripoff published true stories adding false information then putting in google keywords names to be visible on google search and then ask for 3k usd to remove it.

This is how fake media works and makes money!

Is there some justice on them? I afraid no, this is why they act this way and ignore my legitimate request to remove one false sentence from their report!

Shocking how these criminals can run this website. Anyone can post a review, no checks are done whatsoever regarding its validity, and then ripoffreport charges the company thousands of dollars to remove it.

I am grateful for RIP OFF REPORT

I am grateful for RIP OFF REPORT. I am Grateful the owner is not easily intimidated by people. Too many white-collar crimes and no one cares, NOT THE GOV, NOT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, NOBODY. I have had numerous people steal my birth certificate state and federal agencies refuse to answer phones, rip consumers off, and abuse Social Security. There is so much corporate crime and no one cares, complaints go nowhere. At least I can go to RIP OFF REPORT and exploit all the corrupt people and companies who deserve it!

I wish it had an editing section, so I could edit my report, sometimes I notice I've made errors and it's too late to fix them. I have many complaints to make and have been done dirty by so many companies. I am grateful it exists. I started to do the same type of online business.

What an absolutely horrible website

What an absolutely horrible website;. giving angry people who want to scream and shout because they cannot get what they want when it comes to refunds from a supplier, the ability to leave such made up and awful reviews, so they resort to slandering a business on this terrible site, and even when the problem has been resolved, the customer complaint/attack/slander 'CANNOT" be removed 'EVER!!!
This site should be taken down by authorities!

WARNING! STAY AWAY FROM HOMEAGAIN/PADCARE PET SERVICES. DONT PAY!

Stay away from this scam pet recovery company! They are ripping you off by paying the yearly fee of $24.99. I have experienced this company for many years and come to find out after paying for so many years, my pet got lost and they couldn't do anything about it. There are other companies that will register you for no fee or just one flat fee. Get your self a good tracking device for your pet. Best way to recover your pet and know where the pet is at in real time. Also let me say that home again or the sub company that works for them called padcare are exposing your information and your credit will be compromised if you are doing business with them. It happened to me after a deep investigation, and acquaintance customers I had recommended to them in the past had the same awful experience with double and triple charges. Horrible company to enroll your beloved pets. I requested to speak to a manager and the woman I spoke to was very rude, totally ignorant, and unprofessional Ms Lewis. I requested to speak to the padcare owner Ms Shelly and she never got back to me. I'm glad that my pet was found by an individual who some how knew my dog through a vets office where I take my pet, and they were able to put two and two together and find me as the owner. I thankfully recovered my pet without these fraudulent companies. I now use a tracking device for my beloved Frenchie Mr Doodles, and have been able to tracking him if he gets out of my yard.

Trash website

Trash website, anyone can slander/defame someone without any actual evidence, they publish anything, including your home address and refuse to erase anything despite having a police report of the harassing one gets as a victim of doxxing. The owner is a pedophile coward hiding in a discreet house with bodyguards and cameras all over in Arizona due to fear for his life, well, with all the people the website allows slanderous materials, reputation damages what else can you expect? A lot of enemies. The owner is a despicable man and a con artist with a lengthy rap sheet of arrests and felonies from check forgery and so on. Don't believe everything you read on that webpage.

Rip-Off-Report - Posting Fake News and demanding money to remove it.

Hello ,
Guys I was advised that some one posted a fake news item on this website. I checked it and found it to be fake, then I got in touch with the website owner, Ed Magedson. He rather then remove the fake post, asked me to send him $2,500 to remove it . I immediately contacted my lawyers in the USA and advised them, they told me this is wire fraud and i must advise Mr. Ed, that you have passed the matter to the USA Lawyers to take action. I have done that and sent the message to him, by email , I have also posted on my own website the fake news, the reply from this Rip-Off-Report and also my reply to the request for funds. I advised him to remove the fake post and also I advised him we will be issuing a C&D and seeking compensation for a fake post about us.

I truly believe that Rip-off-report are part of this post and allowed a author to post such a message to gain financial reward at the expense of our reputation.

To show that we are honest, transparent and all we posted all messages on our own website and advised the whole of our network that this report is FAKE NEWS.

Ripoffreport.com DOES REMOVE reports!

Ripoffreport.com DOES REMOVE reports!

Either real or false reports, ROR does not verify them, and as ROR claims on their FAQ page, they do not ever remove the reports, be them real or false. Yet I can provide many examples of REMOVED reports, with screenshots as proof. Some former reports screenshot and recorded that later have disappeared from ROR website. One of such screenshots is attached to illustrate how shady the extortion artist Mr. Ed Magedson is, and his Xcentric Ventures LLC and "Ripoff Report" website are nothing but racketeering operations. It's enough to read Wikipedia article about Ripoff Report to learn what a con artist Ed Magedson and his ROR website is.

P.S. There's also a mirror RipoffreportS.com (plural, as in "reports") website which seems dysfunctional. Why would Ed Magedson need a second, new, mirror website?

Dangerous for the internet. As a customer, I still feel Ripoff Report is a bad place for a business owner.

As a customer, I rarely complain unless my experience is so terrible, that it's creating financial burden and/or stress and hassle. I written many reviews on Trustpilot but the one website I would never write on is Ripoff Report. They don't allow businesses to respond to defend themselves without paying an excruciating crazy amount of money, a lot of the reports/reviewers are lazy complaints, and the website itself is very sloppy and messy.

Please don't support or write your reviews on Ripoff Report. They're ripping off businesses and allowing fake customers to write crazy things about businesses and business owners.

The Karen's dream

The Karen's dream. This site is insane. It literally tries to let a single Karen customer destroy a business by writing an angry review (or "report") that that business then has to pay the site to have removed. It's like a Trustpilot, except if Trustpilot were run by the mafia and not interested in actually helping the consumers. I've now for the third time seen a nasty ripoff report highly ranked on Google when my then experience with them were the diametrically opposite of that "report." I will never trust this site, and I know Trustpilot can be manipulated as well, but not like this. This is terrible.
