I've been using Riverside for a while now, and I'm genuinely impressed by how easy it is to use. The interface is intuitive, the recording process is reliable, and the overall workflow is smooth and efficient.

What I appreciate most is how easy it is to retrieve the high-quality video and audio files for editing in DaVinci Resolve. Exporting is simple, the files are well organized, and they integrate seamlessly into my post-production workflow.

As someone who regularly produces interviews and video content, Riverside has become an essential part of my production process. Congratulations to the entire team for creating such an outstanding product!

I love Riverside, they are part of my team. The updates are amazing and keep my podcast improving all the time. I would recommend using them.

I've use them for two years. Their tech is ok, but behind competitors. Slow to innovate. DO NOT get into anything longer than month-to-month. Everyone else is moving faster than they are. Customer service is sub-par. I recommend using other solution.

This is a HORRIBLE dealer !!!! On 06/22/2026 my wife & I went to Riverside Hyundai looking for a car we were met by a salesman Tom Saleh, he showed us the Hyundai Santa Fe limited Hybrid & we test drove it and liked the car. We sat down to talk over the price & I noticed that Riverside Hyundai had added a bunch of useless dealer options so, right away I told Tom that I didn't want their added options & he stated that he would have them removed from the paperwork. We came to an agreement on price & went to the finance office where we signed a bunch of paperwork & made the purchase. While at home four days later I was reading the contract & seen that Tom had not kept his word & we paid $4,000 for the useless dealer options that he said he had removed !!!!! After seeing that I was pissed, so I contacted him & he said that it was a misunderstanding that he would make it right.....Boy was that BS !!!!! So here it is 12 days later & I'm still out that $4,000 he lied about ! I have contacted my attorney, wrote Hyundai & I will be leaving them appropriate feedback on all the major platforms. THESE GUYS ARE CROOKS AT RIVERSIDE HYUNDAI.....Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere or take a chance on being ripped off by them !!!!

So easy to use, a lot of good thinking went into their transcription service

I thought this would be a great app to record my video and audio for podcasts and also YouTube videos but I turned out to be wrong.

Every time I tried to record a video after two minutes, the stream would just cut off and often I wouldn't realize until I'm 10, 11, 12 minutes into a video. I was just wasting loads and loads of time.

I tried to troubleshoot this with their support and they kept asking me:
- What browser am I using?
- Do I have any plugins?
- What's my connection like?
- Can you run this connectivity app?
Even after I sent them all the information they asked me, they asked me the exact same questions, saying, "Have you run this connectivity test, et cetera, et cetera." I don't know maybe it is just an AI that's responding but I've never experienced this. I tried it in incognito mode. There was no app for Windows so that wouldn't work but yeah I've never experienced this before.

With DevTools open during recording, the console showed serviceUploader.worker repeatedly failing, "[LibLogger]: Failed to post logs, will retry soon" and "prepareExtraData failed", looping for the whole take.
If the answer is that I need to log into my router and allowlist your domains, that is the problem.

Nobody should need to reconfigure their home network to record a ten-minute video in a browser. Zoom doesn't need it, Loom doesn't need it, OBS doesn't need it. I lost hours of a working day to this.

If they fix this then it will be good but I can't see any fixes coming soon and would not recommend.

I’ve had to bail out and close my account at the trial stage because I found there were too many glitches to produce the product promised. I spent a full week trying to get help and while it is easy to talk with a robot it is impossible to get a meaningful response to progress in the journey. I feel like Henry the eight I’ve had that many customer service reps. Not one took the trouble to help, not one.

The ease of creating projects and the quality of the video and sound.

If you are looking for a shiny object, this is it. Just don't look to use it with any kind of consistency and seriousness. the functions are always changing. the "human" agents can never resolve a problem but are grat at taking 30 minutes to figure out there is nothing they can do. the AI is run on some knockoff chips that aren't coming from the industry leaders. i have been using riverside for nearly 4 years because it allows me to stream to various social media sites at a reasonable cost. what i trade for that livestreaming ability is an inconsistent, unreliable and constantly "upgraded" software that never seems to get it right. I despise Riverside and will bail as soon as a competitor that is comparably priced comes along. If you are looking for a toxic relationship, this is your software.

I've enjoyed my experience with Riverside. I particularly enjoy how easy to use and how it creates short videos and clips from a recording without too much effort. It's a tool that has streamlined my content creation considerably.

Love Riverside. Been using it for 3 years and the team are great.

The software itself was fine while we used it — that's the only reason this isn't zero stars. The real product Riverside sells is sneaky recurring charges. After we stopped using the service, they continued charging our credit card month after month after month. No usage on our account, no engagement, nothing, just automatic charges quietly draining our card.

When we finally caught it on our statement and contacted them, they flat-out refused to issue any credit. Not even a partial refund. They were perfectly happy to take months of payments for a service we never touched, and perfectly happy to keep every penny once we noticed.

This is a business model built on hoping you don't read your credit card statement. Check your card carefully if you've ever signed up with them, and think twice before handing them your payment info in the first place. We won't be back, and we'll be telling everyone we know to stay away.

Editor and overall UI/UX is clunky but core app seems to be decent. However, I completely lost about 30 minutes of work that said it was saved. Support said they could not determine the issue so I am forced to redo the work and just hope it doesn't happen again I guess...

From my experince this is the best tool one can use to create contents. I find that it is very reliable and also the team is magic. From my heart i hope you continue building this magic platform

We at Zemits UK just started using Riverside for our masterclass live streams on YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. So far, we are happy with how easy it is to use the service. The best feature for me is the shorts created from our video, with an AI-generated title already. We can now just download and post. super cool.

Riverside is one of the best platforms I've ever had the fortune of working with. I'm pretty picky about my software and find that most developers tend to get the UI/UX wrong. Riverside is not only easy to use, but it provides a ton of value for the price. The functionality is excellent, and the end product that you get is incredible. I highly recommend everyone.

Using Riverside to capture remote client interviews has been an absolute lifesaver, giving me perfectly synced, locally recorded 4K video and isolated audio tracks. It completely saves my editing timeline from the horrible artifacting and dropped frames you get with standard web calls. To be fair, the browser dashboard is a heavy resource hog, and you have to explicitly remind guests not to close their tab immediately after the interview finishes, or the local upload stalls. However, the raw production quality more than compensates for the minor pipeline discipline required.

Amazing how something can be so close to being excellent in actuality turns out to be excruciating. Error after error after error and glitch after glitch. You then try and contact support and all you get is an email 3 days later saying they are working on it. Honestly, if there was an alternative I would switch.

This is such a great system for recommend, editing and publishing my podcast. I can do it all myself. I highly recomend it.
