First and foremost, I liked the quality of recordings. Then the options of editing video post recording, with the tools provided to cater for different needs is awesome. I could use AI features to cut insta reels or manually frame people and enhance voices. We did not use it yet, but live video to multiple platforms is another great feature. It was the most easy decision for me to buy.

What started as a tool for "only" video recordings turns out to be a gamechanger for our marketing.

The obvious one: Riverside is great for creating high-quality video content and turning it easily into short-form video clips. The cutting process is very intuitive and greatly supported by AI. Probably takes me only around 4h to have a new episode plus clips up and ready - so much faster than other tools I have tried in the past.

Not so ovious (for me): It helps me also with all of the other aspects of content creation. Need descriptions, keywords, titles, and more for YouTube? Instantly there. Want to create an article out of your podcast/video? Just ask the AI. That's how I want to see AI implemented.

In short: It's a great tool for video production, but it doesn't stop there. If you are a marketeer and looking for better ways to streamline, recycle, and repurpose your content - Riverside got you covered.

Recording podcasts is very simple on Riverside, and all the other things it does too (creates interesting snippets to share on social media, etc) are an absolute bonus.

If you’re avoiding podcasting because you’re worried about the tech - don’t!

I use it for EVERYTHING. The transcripts are very accurate, and it's one of the best tools of its kind.

Having had a few hurdles on how to use riverside when I first started, I reached out to customer service, and they got back to me right away to help resolve my issue

Riverside's virtual podcast website is awesome! Excellent technology, excellent support, numerous applications, all help to make the virtual podcast experience great :)

The flexibility of both connecting podcast guests from different spaces, as well as the many editing/polishing possibilities through its website makes Riverside my go-to!

They charged my account.
I used the Riverside, and I was satisfied.
But I decided not to use after the trial periode....
I was not able to delete my account or subscription because they didn't delete my subscription, however, I deleted in time!!!!!!!!!!
I have never seen type of issues before... I have sent a lot of e-mails, and they have written to me that my subscription is deleted after the trial periode, they charged my account!
I have sent a lof of emails regarding this matter.
The site is really easy to use, but they don't delete your subscription. I don't know if I will get my money back in the future.....

I cannot delete my subscription now, I cannot delete my account. I have never seen this type of company before.....I mean that I am not able to delete the subscription. And regarding this matter I sent them a tons of mails.... Simple missing that butten: 'delete my subscription'. They sent me an email regarding to authentication, and they have written to me (from twice...) that deleted my account after that. But they never deleted my account!!
Now they charged my money, a lot of money! And I need my money to maintain my bikes. And I cannot go by bike now to my workplace because they charged my account, and I am not able to pay for the bike repair man....
And the most unbereable that I cannot delete my account card...... so I need to pay for the Riverside, however, as I said before I deleted in time, before the end of the trial period.
I have used a lot of programs because of my works, but I have never seen this type of issues. I think I will write to authorities, now I am seeking the right authorities....
I don't want to use this company in the future.
Oh, and they wrote to me that they deleted my account...., but they haven't deleted yet as we see.... they charged my account today.....

UPDATE:
I gave back my money after maybe a week... I don't recommend you to use the platform though because of all of the things around the subscription deleting, I think there is something suspicious around the 'subscription deleting process'.

In many ways it's absolutely wonderful. It makes creating and editing videos ridiculously easy. The AI features are amazing. Clearly built by an absolute genius. I'd thoroughly recommend it. The only problem is that it's SO SLOW. Of course uploading and downloading takes time. But the recording studio and editor often run at a glacial speed as well, and I sometimes spend more time waiting for them than I do actually working on the video -- literally. Hours get wasted. And it's not like I have time to waste. So it's brilliant, but also very frustrating.

I liked riverside before, but since the last update I am a true fan: So easy and helpful. Plus: I had a technical issue and the well-informed support replied within only a few hours on a Sunday morning! Never expected such a level of support! I also like riverside's atmosphere. You can feel it in the live webinars. Simply cool. Thank you riverside!

I think when things go well it’s easy to say that Riverside is great but when they don’t I’m not sure yet how to evaluate. I have a video stuck in processing for days now. I Cant édit it or do anything with it. There is clearly a glitch and no response from Riverside to several emails. I’ll be back with another review when I see how they handle the tougher stuff. I’ve lost days in my schedule because of this glitch and have not received help. Yet.

Good tool for remote video or audio recordings. The tracks are recorded individually and saved locally on the user's computer until they are saved (with a time delay) in the Riverside cloud. This ensures that the recording is uninterrupted even in the event of minor Wi-Fi transmission errors. It is easy and intuitive to use, even for guests. Unfortunately, the help center can only be contacted in English, but it is very helpful.

For me, Riverside makes working easier in many ways: During recording, I only need to focus on my guest, myself, or the conversation. After the recording and the follow-up conversation, the transcript is already finished, and the editing is done as well. I just need to quickly check where I might want to make changes and if I like the sound, and I'm already done. Done to the point that I can export the project (in 4K!).
If I feel like creating teasers, they're made with just the click of a button and are also almost immediately ready to use.
We would never have offered our podcast with video without Riverside. Now the system handles almost the entire production process. That's truly impressive.

I have been using Riverside for my podcast for the past 8 months and it has been easy to navigate and operate. The customer service team is very approachable and always provides timely solutions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a recording tool and platform that is intuitive and supportive.

I avoided making videos for such a long time because I found the process too complex. (1) Getting set up with a teleprompter to record things, and (2) most especially, editing the output to look and sound reasonable.
Riverside solves both of those problems for me, to the point that I actually enjoy making videos now!! Thanks.

It's been super simple to start a Podcast with limited knowledge and as a complete rookie in editing and hosting. I really appreciate the simple tools and the great customer service. The link to publishing on spotify is also amazing.

I started podcasting in 2020 and went with another company for my recordings. There were no frills. Just a few hours of recording each month. When they changed their model I looked around and found Riverside.fm. It worked great, but the kicker was, once I started using it more and looking into the features, I was astounded at how much more professional and polished my podcast was sounding and looking. I used to create clips in Headliner. No videos, just audio and whatever photos I could find. Riverside pulls video from the recording and makes amazing clips for me. Such a time saver! That combined with their editing tools and audio quality has made me a customer for life!

Great when it works as expected. It can save a lot of time and effort on editing. The issue I have is with support. I've run into two issues and the response is underwhelming. Being sent links that's the equivalent of saying it's not us it's you is not remotely helpful. Especially when after back and forth they end up having to acknowledge the issue on their end.

I was with a different platform for recording remote podcast episodes, and had such a difficult time and received minimal help from the company. Since switching to Riverside.fm I've recorded so many episodes with international guests and the video and audio quality is fantastic, setting up the meetings is easy, and the site is user friendly for a technophobe like myself. I've recommended this platform to so many people. It's a must-have for podcasters.
