Overall, the experience with the study material was excellent. The course is very well-organized, covering the entire PMP syllabus in one book. The content is easy to understand, and the "Tricks of the Trade" were particularly impressive and helpful. Rita's book was my primary resource, and it played a key role in helping me pass the PMP exam on my first attempt.

However, the major drawback of the package was the overly complicated and excessively phrased scenarios in the test questions. These were far more complex than the actual PMP exam questions, causing significant frustration during practice. I did not find these questions helpful at all, it only led to frustration and ultimately I had to purchase PMI Study Hall for realistic mock exams

I bought the exam simulator and the questions were really long, the answers were so tricky and confusing at all times, and the explanations would include something like this can be a good answer but there is another right answer. Some questions were not that relevant - and it really made feel lack confidence about my ability to do the exam. Also I requested a refund for this expensive simulator since I decided not to continue with the simulator and I just solved a couple of questions only - not the entire simulator but I got a rejection!

RMC CAPM Exam prep class, book, and practice exams were instrumental in me passing the exam on the first attempt. The book offers a comprehensive guide to project management, touching on all necessary topics required for the exam. The book can seem long, but with 2 readthroughs and a few practice exams, I was able to pass this exam the first attempt scoring AT in all domains. Only recommendation for improvement is to offer more practice exams, and possible video/audio explanations of each question.

Rita Mulcahy's CAPM Exam Prep book was instrumental in my success. It's a comprehensive guide and the focused approach in ECO helped me master key concepts, instilling confidence to focus for the exam. It provided a clear path to learning project management ensuring thorough preparation and a solid understanding of PMBOK.

In my experience, not so much similar with the real test. It seems unuseful complicated. However, the kind of questions are valid (drag&drop, multiple answers, etc..). The limit to have the test only in English is not aligned with the PMI' options to use a different language.

It was the only material that laid out Everything on what to expect from the exam and multiple training avenues. By the end of my study, I felt prepared and confident enough to take the test while with the other books I always felt I was missing some material. Two recommendations I have are based on what I experienced so I hope they help. First recommendation, create more marketing or have RMC pop on more broad google/search engine searches, something to make it more easily found for a consumer. For me, I actually bought a few books prior to finding RMC and watched numerous YouTube studying material. In one of those videos, RMC was mentioned. The second one might be more of a technical issue, the online login system kept locking me out when I logged in by computer, even with one password try it would say it was incorrect and exceeded the number of attempts. The odd part is I was always able to login on my phone. When resetting the password, the reset email wouldn't be received for quite some time. I eventually caught on that you had to login on a weekday, reset the password and then save the password to my computer (the email would come in much quicker). I'd like to think most people won't be switching devices like I did so it might be special case (this occurred about 4 times for me, I had a desktop then a new laptop; I was logged out at most for a week). Besides this, I look forward to using RMC for the other certifications I'll be working on in the future so thank you!

RMC learning solutions is such a great learning resource. It is designed to closely mirror the real exam experience, offering a comprehensive and authentic test simulation. It allowed me to track my time and performance according to each domain by providing valuable insights .This feature helped me to identify areas of strength and weakness, and a clear indication of which domains require more focus and improvement. By simulating the actual exam environment, it hone my skills, manage time efficiently, and enhanced chances of success in the PMP certification exam.

I HIGHLY recommend the RMC PMP Exam Prep book in preparation for successfully taking your PMP exam, here’s why; the PMBOK guide does not contain enough information for passing the PMP exam. Think of the PMBOK guide as a brochure, and the RMC Exam Prep book as a textbook. The contrast is that striking. And YES, I passed on my 1st try.

I STRONGLY suggest you purchase the RMC exam simulator (ES) to compliment the book. With the ES, when you get questions wrong (and you will) you are able to review the answer WITH an explanation as to WHY you got it wrong + a page # reference in the RMC book for content review. It works. (I would also recommend that you take the 35 hour prep course from RMC as well.)

How I did it. My final exam prep took about 3 solid months. My prep experience spanned a few years, I took the PMI classes right from my local PMI chapter, I studied and I was ready- but then covid hit and the exam centers shut down for a year +/-. Then I moved, and the text book material changed, and 4 years of life got in the way. SO, I had already completed the required 35 hour courses a few years back. It always bugged me that I never took the PMP exam.. I had the time recently, so I decided to finally get my PMP certification, even though I needed to study all over again.

Final prep, I read the PMBOK guide 3 times and took a practice exam and failed miserably. Most exam question material was not in PMBOK. I purchased the RMC exam prep book and the missing content was in there. I read RMC book twice and reviewed all my highlighted material once before the exam. I also took LOTS of RMC practice exams, and reviewed all my incorrect answers religiously. My exam scoring was marginal, 55, 60, 65 70 or 75, nothing great. But, I was rigorous with wrong answer reviews. Even though I wasn’t ace-ing the practice exams, I decided to schedule the PMP anyway. I could always take it again.

The exam test center was very professional, and when taking the exam, watch your time.. The PMP exam isn’t as “tricky” as the practice exams, so you’ll be feeling much better as you’re going through the actual test. But you must still know the material. If you truly prepared, you’ll do fine. And I did.

So, there you have it. The PMP exam is not easy, but you can do it! I can honestly say that without the RMC exam prep material, I would not have been successful. The price of the material is well worth it. Your experience will help you somewhat as well, but your commitment to studying the exam prep material will get you what you want: your PMP credential!

I found RMC learning products very helpful and effective for real exam.

After a complete reading of the book PMI-ACP Exam Prep and two general reviews, I was able to pass the certification exam.

I also worked with the flash cards and did twice the test simulator.

The RCML PMP materials are the best in the market and helped me to pasa the PMP exam in the first attempt

This course provided the 35 hours I need to submit my application. Other than that, the course has a slide deck that is reviewed over the 4 days. It is adequate. Many of the test questions don’t have good explanation of why you answered wrong so I’m not getting 75 on my exams.
I was told during class to contact them if I didn’t get 75 or greater on my mock exams and they would help me. So I sent an email stating that and received a response basically stating that I should strive for 75 on my mock exams and to keep studying. Really not helpful at all!!!! Then don’t tell people to contact you if you’re going to provide ridiculous responses like that. At the end of class just say you’re on your own and good luck! Instead of acting like you will help beyond the class if we need it.
I ended up buying the PMI study hall and that’s been helping more than Rita’s. Plus Rita’s online system often freezes up and is slow to respond which can be frustrating.

Excellent book and exceptional training. It helps a lot with updating knowledge in a true sense. Lot of practical applications in real world 😊👍

I completed the virtual instructor-led class last week and took the exam a week after the class ended. I passed and I am very thankful for all the guidance and tips and encouragement. The instructor was so positive and never came across as bored or indifferent to the content. It is so hard to know how a virtual class is taking in the content when hardly anyone used their camera and only texted answers in the chat. Regardless of that, she powered through the material connecting dots on things that were vague or unclear from PMI. The support from RMC was legit and sincere - although they have a vested interest in students passing the exam, I received two personal emails congratulating me. Thank you RMC for introducing Rita's Chart to us and for all the support!

PMP Exam Prep book and PM Fast Track (Exam simulator);
* The book PMP Exam Preparation is very well written: Concise and comprehensive.
* Rita's process chart game is very good and useful.
* RMC PM Fast Track is very good but it could be improved by making the English question's text clearer. For instance, when refering to the project manager, it should use "her/him" instead of "they" - as, sometimes it makes the sentence difficult to know if "they" refers to the stakeholders or the project manager.

I was part of the weeklong bootcamp through RMC. Our trainer was very informative and detailed in her review of the entire book. We were shown how to navigate the online parts and even took practice quizzes in the class. I was able to pass the PMP exam my first time taking it and RMC is largly the reason why.
