The New Big Business Scheme

Like many others, we experienced the poor price disclosure throughout signup for Wegovy. In bold black letters $149/month is displayed prominently throughout. Hidden in small print is the additional $145/month membership fee you only find out about when your credit card is charged. And no refund is available. It’s the new big business scheme - take as much as you can at the first transaction, employ pricing tactics that allow for plausible deniability so you can blame the customer, follow up with kind words stating refunds aren’t possible thereby making the kind words fake. We won’t be using Ro for the remainder of our lives on this planet.

Too good to be true

I didn't need a prescription, I already had one. I was looking for coupons to offset the cost of the medication. Evidently the website doesn't give me that option. The $45 I paid was for "membership" anyhow. A total waste of money. The dose I would have been given was twice as much as advertised. As you progress on the medication the cost you pay increases. Be forewarned it may start at $149 but as you titrate up so does the cost.

Would prefer 0 stars. Looked like I could get zepbound at $145 per month which is less than $300 I pay Lilly direct. But when I got approved the only option was $300 per month. Will see if I get the $45 deposit back.

Membership "Not Refundable" "No product Received"

SCAM paid my membership, they sent me the UPS shipping number for my first delivery and then it was cancelled by them, they sent me another shipping number from UPS and it was returned to sender.... I cancelled my membership and wrote them a letter about how the failed and I was told I would not receive my membership fee and it will take 30 days to receive my refund for the medication I did not receive.

I received several emails telling me…

I received several emails telling me the photos I uploaded would not work, but when I logged into the portal it said all was well. Then I got an email from customer service telling me all was good. Following this, I received another email letting me know the photos were not accepted. After about the 5th time of emailed photos, I received another email saying there was delay in the emails and everything was good to go. It was frustrating and annoying. I was also told that I did not qualify for the injections, which I did not understand. It seems to me they just wanted me to pay for the more expensive pill.

I found Ro.co to be a little shady in…

I found them to be a little shady in their sales process. With their fully digital process, they are positioned to help avoid wasting their time and mine. But, instead they employ a method to try to sell you something you don't want. Currently, Medicare-insureds do not qualify for Wegovy pills through Ro. You'd think they'd tell you upfront you don't qualify. Noooo, they make you go through this whole process, to include paying the membership fee and providing ID, to try to sell you injectibles. Digital systems say "what are you looking for". You say "Wegovy pills". System says "which insurance do you have". You say, "Medicare". System says, "we cannot provde the pills to you due to Medicare regulations". That's it. I get to decide if I want to move forward in considering an alternative. System should not take next steps to have you pay, then walkthrough a "fake visit". Wasting everyone's time, energy, and efforts. I've never posted a complaint before. This one just really pissed me off!

I completed all the questions their website told me I was approved so I paid for the pill form 5 minutes later I received a text message telling me if I didn't have health insurance I don't qualify for the pill form at this time. Why would it not tell me that the beginning why does it tell me that after I pay.

Solid company

Weight be gone
