The Road Shower is a great product…
The Road Shower is a great product however, If it were up to me I'd make the air valve beefier and stronger and I'd also place the air valve on the side of tank for easier access. The Road Shower is placed on the roof of vehicle so it makes it very difficult having to put air in the flimsy air valve placed on top of water tank. Further, Road Shower should provide a stronger tool to open that water intake opening. The tool they provided bent and is unusable after the 2nd time using it. Other thank that, it is a product well worth its cost.

Road Shower 4 (7 Gallon)
Excellent construction. The flex shower head is a great accessory. Easy to use, easy to fill, and only take a few minutes to pressurize with a 12 DC air pump. Please keep in mind that you will need a strong mount or a strong foundation due to the weight once it is filled with water. Empty it is light weight but remember that water is heavy.
This is a great solution and with the flex shower head if you adjust the pressure correctly you can take several showers before needing to refill.
Excellent job Road Shower Team

I have used my Road Shower 4 on several trips. I added an automatic fill line one end or the shower because it's too hard to climb up and fill or fill from the nozzle end … what a pain.
After this improvement I find that the shower is quite useful as I primitive camp a lot. Quite shampoo, shower and rinsing dishes … convenient to use.
Cool, well made. Some issues with Yakima rack.
When we saw this, we had to have it. And we do like it a lot. We had a few hiccups on our first outing, the most troubling was problems on our new Yakima rack (jet stream) using the supplied RoadShower connections (we have the 7 gallon size). On two separate occasions, the roof rack came loose from our Jeep -- and trust, me: after the first time, and assumed operator error, I was very careful and thorough. I'm assuming the weight of the filled shower, along with rough roads causes too much strain. It's a big concern for me at this point. We also have a bit of a learning curve on using it and getting all the water out before the air bladder is empty. Still: we do love it.

Great design.Works out great
My RoadShower4 is superb
My RoadShower4 is superb. If I had a franchise, I could probably sell several a month to folks who cannot learn enough about it when I'm at the beach rinsing off my gear.
I'm not giving it a 5 star because of initial problems i had with hose leakage requiring that I reseal all the connections to the hose. Then there is the hose. I mistakenly turned on the the outside faucet water source while filling the RS4, and quickly learned that our town water pressure exceeded the rating of the hose which failed by blistering and splitting. I've replaced it with a 150# PSI hose with stainless clamps. I know the device is rated to a max of 65#, and I've, frankly, not measured the tank pressure when filled. I don't turn the faucet open, and, thus far, with my modifications, I have no leaks. The downside of my modifications is that the new hose lacks the flexibility of the OEM hose, and, thus, is a bit harder to manipulate. The take home is that one should carefully stay within the manufacture's system pressure warnings when filling, and the OEM hose failure probably won't happen.
I strongly recommend the RS4 to anyone who will listen on a daily basis, and I do use it daily. Thanks for a most excellent product.

Positive experience to date
Positive experience to date. Mounted on a roof rack over a 1992 Westfalia, so a bit heavy. I do not fill to maximum. Shower is awesome for personal use, rinsing mountain bikes or cleaning up the van! Ordered the shower head but haven’t seen it yet. Works just fine without this extra. No real complaints other than weight (mine on a Westfalia, harder to lift pop top, my problem).

Great buy compared to what's out there!!
Great product!! Have had it permanently on my rig since I've bought it (possibly 2-3 months now) One down side is that it does slip off a bit where I have it mounted it (I use the all-pro pack rack on my Tacoma) and have needed to add a layer of rubber padding under the roadshower itself aside from the ones that come on the curved pieces. Also, trying to tighten the bolts became a problem early on. Eventually the screw would no longer grab on the channels and had to use pliers to hold screws in place as I tightened bolts. May need a way to work around this issue. Aside from those problems the product itself worked great and water flowed continuously while pressurized.

The unit is rock solid but packaging not up to snuff. I had to purchase a new air valve as is it was ground down almost flat form sliding around it the delivery truck.

The Roadshower 4 has been a game changer
The Roadshower 4 has been a game changer for my wife and I. Last year we started Overland Camping. With a rooftop tent on a Tundra, we hit the trails. One major shortcoming was the ability to clean up. We tried a few "solar showers" but the performance was poor. The Roadshower 4 has real world pressure and heating performance. On a 75F sunny day, we experienced water temps in the tank at over 100F! And with the ability to pressurize the tank with an electric bike pump and the flexible shower arm, our showers were delightful. Now we can camp for extended periods without that feeling of, "I can't wait to get home and finally take a good shower".

I found it difficult to use the shower
I found it difficult to use the shower, as you must go to the gas station often and keep the air pressure high. I'm 5'6" and just getting up high enough is difficult and I've ended up not using the shower much at all because of it. I also realized too late that I can no longer go through drive in car washes and the hose ripped off when I went through one. Overall, I wish I had chosen something else.

Great product! I've been using my Roadshower for about 3 months now and can't imagine life without it! I highly recommend! Get the shower adapter/head too!

I have not used it that much yet but it has good pressure and heats well. You have to be careful not to use the high pressure as you will run out of water fast.
