My experience of Richard was he was professional, knowledgable and empathetic. I did not expect the outcome I got which was a positive one and a massive relief for myself and my family. We all cannot thank Richard and his colleagues enough. I would highly recommend him.

I was charged with being drunk while in charge of a vehicle. After two court appearances they then re raised the charge to Drink driving. To be clear, I was not behind the wheel. I was in my own home when the police arrived about an hr after I had been to the shop to buy alcohol. I was arrested and spent the night in a cell. It has been 15 months of hell. I have my own business and was thinking worst case scenario ( as we do) I would lose everything. A friend of mine who is an ex policeman told me to get the best lawyer that I can because you get what you pay for.

Richard Freeman was excellent from start to finish. Explained the entire process in detail and was available to provide advice whenever necessary.
I was stopped by an unmarked police car while speeding on the motorway at a speed which put my driving licence in jeopardy. I was a self employed taxi driver at the time and could have lost my livelihood.
Thankfully Richard was able to use his experience and skillful negotiating to reduce my charge of Dangerous Driving to just Speeding and I was able to hold onto my licence.

Richard was great he explained everything clear and precise and reassured me even although I was facing a ban if I got another 3 points. I was sure I was getting a ban but no my case was dismissed thanks to Richard and his team .

Mr Freeman is by far the best defence lawyer for road traffic offences in Scotland. After speaking to a few lawyers, I honestly thought it would be impossible to keep my licence and had pretty much lost all hope until I found Mr Freeman. The situation I was in was really difficult, but he proved all my doubts wrong. He was amazing through the whole process, kept in contact with me, and looked at every possible way to save my licence. In the end I got 6 points and no fine for drink driving, and most importantly I still have my licence. I honestly can’t explain how grateful and happy I am with the result.

As a medical cannabis patient I was involved in a non-fault road collision and subsequently failed a roadside test for cannabis. The police acknowledged that I was not impaired and I was eventually charged with having more cannabis in my blood than permitted in law. Mr Freeman filled me with confidence from the first phone call and kept me updated throughout the very stressful process. Due to his thoroughness and determination, the crown accepted that I did have a statutory medical defence and the charges were withdrawn prior to trial.
