Don't buy! I've had 4 die on me in the past 5 years. Sent 2 back for extortionately priced repair which also died after a year. Used to be good, but quality has plummeted. Over priced radio's living on a once glorious heritage. You can buy an alternative brand of radio for a quarter of the price of a Roberts and it'll probably last as long. I counted that in the past 25 years I've purchased 11 Roberts radio's and not one survives apart from the one I inherited from my Mum which was made in the 1950's. They've obviously succumbed to cheap imported components but have kept their high prices. Overpriced, poor quality products living on a past reputation that is quickly fading away, sadly, as will the company.

I have two Roberts radios. One a solarDAB and the other an ecologic 1. Both have let me down. The solarDAB stopped working unless plugged in a long time ago, and it has now stopped accessing any but a few stations on digital, and using the manual, pressing buttons that don't work anymore. On the ecologic 1 the display stopped working so you can't see what station you're on. I don't know why people rate Roberts, as I would never now buy another one.

Sadly this is the second Beacon 330 Speaker that just just stopped working - it no longer charges. If you are going to buy a Roberts speaker I would suggest you don't as I know at least 3 other people that this has happened to. The repair with Roberts is more expensive than the cost of the item which is sad. I was drawn in by the lovely colours of the speakers - great marketing! Roberts no longer sell it which tells you a lot.

I absolutely love my little blue retro petite radio which I tend to use as a Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen.

The sound quality is great for me and when I’m cleaning I can easily take it with me from room to room

I bought my dad the burgundy one for his birthday and he loves it - very classy colour and design

We have a Roberts BluTune60 CD and radio. We needed help as the CD's were not being ejected. The service department was excellent. They advised to post the radio to them. The whole repair only took 1 week and special parcel postage both ways was included in the price

Fabulous service for a repair on our Robert's radio. Helpful, quick and best of all, successful. Our radio can now continue giving great listening for many more years.

I would recommend NOT buying a Roberts Radio. I bought Stream107 WiFi. Its never held its charge - using charger, rechargeable batteries and normal batteries. I sent it back but still not working properly. It works for a very short time and then goes dead.

Full marks for customer service. I bought a Roberts Revival Petite 2 DAB radio from Currys for home delivery. The next day DPD delivered a package containing a brand new laptop instead of my radio. I was directed to Roberts after DPD and Currys said they couldn’t assist. After one phone call I have had excellent assistance from Lisa Customer Business Partner at Roberts. She ordered another radio which arrived 2 days later. She liaised with DPD and arranged for them to collect the laptop today. She kept me updated with emails, some sent at the weekend or in the evening. Sometimes things go wrong with orders at large parcel depots and in this case Roberts have been helpful and efficient in resolving the issue.
I am happy with the radio too. It was easy to set up and connect to my usual DAB station and Bluetooth to play from other devices. It looks cute. It comes with a quick start guide and I was able to use a QR code to access further instructions. The sound quality is good with the aerial extended and the radio is easy to move around the house/garden.

I own a Bluetune T2 and I am very disappointed with it. Roberts Radio need to improve their quality control procedures.

The sound quality is great, no problem with that. However, not that long after purchasing, the on-board battery recharger stopped working so I have to recharge the batteries externally. The metal battery connections are clearly flimsy and 1 has broken necessitating the use of aluminium foil to make the connection.

This is not the quality that I expect from Roberts Radio. I am disappointed.

Just a perfectly developed radio alarm.
This little alarm does all you could want, DAB+, BT and even FM. Beautifully simple/intuitive interface that is simple to operate even in a sleepy state :).
Love the sound quality and looks too.

We recently bought a Play20 radio which is nothing like as good as our previous Robert’s DAB with 10 presets. This present radio won’t work unless the aerial is fully extended and the preset stations constantly disappear so have to be reset every day.
Very disappointing.

I have a Roberts Revival iStream 2. I've had it for nearly eight years but its been getting erratic. It won't switch on and switches off randomly and erases presets. I've tried factory resets but it is still behaving cranky. Then I checked the adaptor. Turns out the wrong one was supplied when I bought it. I've bought the correct one now and it's like having a new radio. All the problems disappeared. I'm very happy to have sorted this out but it wasn't thanks to Roberts customer services who, when I explained the age of the radio, offered no help or advice. They wouldn't even take it for repair. So while I love Roberts radios (we've had successive models in the family for the past 70 years) I'm not convinced on their quality assurance or after-care support.

After plugging the device on the vac recharger (42v not 7.2v) the radio blew up will be more accurate next time sent to Robert and 2 or3 days later was back looking like new i thought thy have sent a new one but not it was the old one Robert made a superlative job very well done order no 99342 thanks p Lubrano 😍😍😍😍😍

Such a speedy repair of my radio, under warranty. Posted to Roberts on Monday pm and it was back with me on Friday am.

Purchased bp3 battery for £40 to go in my £250 new Roberts radio,battery came charged and worked great but wouldn't charge when out of charge. Sent battery to Roberts expecting to get a new one but got old battery back charged again,worked ok till time to charge again then wouldn't charge.Have emailed them repeatedly but no reply thought just sending a new battery would be easier but nothing, radio is excellent so such a shame

I bought a radio for my father (on a Saturday) and my payment programme autocompleted my address details, not my father’s. I contacted the company via email. They got back to me Monday morning at 9 to say the radio had already been despatched but they had recalled it and could I supply the correct address. My father received it Wednesday. Great service especially as the initial error was mine!
