Awful product

Awful product. Had it 2 days and it stopped working. Got it serviced and after getting it back after 12 days it cut the grass for 2 days then stopped again. Got no assistance at all. Awful customer service. Avoid!

Reluctantly have to agree with the dismal reviews this company is getting. When I bought my RC model, Robomow was "best in test". But robot has never run without getting stuck somewhere - a constant game of whack a mole and now I am looking to replace the additional wheels for extra grip, the company is no longer represented in DK where I bought it. So, at a dead end where full replacement with another brand is looking like best option.

100% agree with the horrendous reviews of Robomow
Totally useless, company are the worse ever. 1 season in use, 3 year warranty is a laugh, email after email, and the outlet it was purchased from are as bad. Avoid this brand, All 4 Plants based in Holland are pure rubbish.
€1,750 wasted, now paying to have grass cut. Pay the big extra and buy Husqvarna, no comparison.

DO NOT BUY a Robomow RS635

DO NOT BUY a Robomow RS635 - I have had one of these for 3 years and had nothing but trouble, it won't return to base, dies in the middle of the garden, I have spent house playing with wire layouts and the tricky programming and it is still no use - I could have maintained the lawn with scissors in the time I have spend on it. Same problems with warranty as others and I have a very expensive piece of junk in my garden. DO NOT BUY

Avoid this company at any cost

Avoid this company. Bought a Robomow robot under a year ago. The motor has failed and the electronic touchpad on the top no longer works. Robomow customer service was challenging to contact and after many days finally got WITT A/S (repairer in Denmark) to help. They sent out the wrong motor for the repair and have ignored the faulty touchpad issue. I can no longer get a reply about the repair, both Robomow and WITT clearly have no focus on good customer service. I rarely write reviews, but this service has been so poor considering the money used on this, that I hope no one else wastes their money with this company.

For God's sake....don't buy ANY Robomow…

For God's sake....don't buy ANY Robomow if you don't want stress in your life! All are completely trash for hell a lot money! I can't decide what is worse. The product itself, the customer service or the warranty what basically does not exist. I have 3 Robomows so I have a lot experience with these. 2 of RC304u and 1 RX20u.
Setup is a nightmare (all robot mower is like this) but when it's done, it's magic! Until it works. UNTIL it does. And that won't be a long period I can tell. Few month ago in the autumn I have sent one of my (newer) machines to warranty (!) service because it was acting weird while was mowing. It didn't have problem with mowing, but it had random acts in the middle of my lawn*. After many emails and 'fights' (I really don't have nerves to write down that annoying communication with them but I wouldn't call that a helpful customer service) they sent it back with a message that the battery needs to be replaced otherwise the mower is ok. The mower didn't work more that 20-30 times in its whole life (because as I mentioned above I have 2 other Robomows) so the battery had no problem at all. AT ALL. Mowing time was 1 hour or so. After the warranty 'service' I couldn't even turn it on anymore. Ever. Gosh...to send it to warranty service was my worse decision ever. At least today I would have a weird-acting, but fairly ok mower. And now it's dead. I have no clue what did they do with it, but I guess - in the best case - they have just replaced my good battery to a bad one. In the worst case they killed the machine with something else. Whatever they did to it, it is trash now.

You need to know whatever happens with your mower, they will tell you that you need to replace the battery (and of course they offer you new battery for 2x more expensive price that it is elsewhere) And if you say no for changing the battery they won't repair your mower's real problem because they FAKE point of view that the problem caused by the battery. (To be honest I don't think they ever repaired any Robomows...it's just a fairy tale.)
How smart they are to avoid basically any warranty service! And the reason is simple: battery is not covered by the warranty. And who would pay the double of the battery just because the service does the replace, huh?
I won't stress myself on a sh|tty company like this. Lesson learned. I do not even want to hear the name Robomow again. Try to research on Amazon feedbacks or on Trustpilot any products you want to buy in the future. It worth to be careful.

* in the meantime I have found out that I am not alone with the 'battery problem'. It caused by faulty front wheel nozzle (models which have front wheel and something similar happens with those models which don't have front wheel) what they should have repair in the warranty period. Should have....

Stay away from Robomow product.

Stay away from Robomow product.
Besides that, it can’t maneuver without stuck due to poor front wheel design.
Worst It’s impossible to connect bluetooth via v2 app. Worst engineering work seen.
I am in possession of two Robomow and have tried with four mobile devices. And all the tricks are tried.
At 100 try, it connects maybe two to five times, but the app disconnects again after about 5 seconds and can’t be operated.
The company refuses to support through their website and it is impossible to get help.

Don't waste your money on Robomow!

I've had 635 model for three years now and it breaks down regularly - very unreliable. Just now out of warranty and it needs its battery replaced for the second time. This time they want £299 for it and they tell me the first replacement battery fitted only 15 months ago had only 6 months warranty! It has been returned twice to the dealers and loads of other problems suffered with it. They can't send anyone out so you have to fit the parts yourself - always assuming the dealers have diagnosed the correct requirement over the phone and this in't always the case. I've never had full use more than a few weeks at a time and thank god I kept the ordinary sit on lawnmower!! I have a feeling that nobody cares much once it's out of warranty?
Whatever you do ....... look at a different make!

The most absurd piece of junk ever!

If there was a minus 5 stars, I would have used it. Stay away from these louts!

Luckily I did not buy this MS-1500 (red edition), it was present in the house I am renting. I still feel embarassed because someone could still think it is mine.

It gets stuck at least 2-3 times a week, despite the flat and regular terrain. The algorithms seem to have been written by a drugged monkey. It goes around and around, left and right, back and forth, insisting in one corner for tens of minutes, no matter what settings or tweakings I tried.

Customer care? Forget it, they don't move a finger and send you to the retail shop to buy a new one, even not for a repair. No way to upgrade/re-upload the firmware, the customer is left alone.

So, not being mine, I let it go stoned in its idiotic adventures, waiting to move out from here and eventually do some research and get myself a decent machine.

They don’t care about you

I bought three of these from an electronics store, two didn’t start. I have been in contact with robomow since last winter (time of writing end of april) and talked to several of robomow’s employees. Every time I get sent to a new person and then have to answer the same questions and do the same diagnostics as before. It took me 6 months for them to take me seriously enough to send my case to the “support leader” only to be asked the same question all over again and then wait 3-5 days between answers.
If you value your time, don’t buy a robomow because they don’t care about you after they get your money.

I bought a Robomow RC308U in December…

I bought a Robomow RC308U in December 2018 and kept it inside until April. When spring was here I unpacked it and set it up as per the instructions. However it does not work. There is very likely something wrong with the sensor, as it only sometimes is capable of finding back to the homebase. We have since early june been in touch with Robomow customer service, but we feel they dont know what they are talking about and throwing us around among employees.
Though one of the technicians has said she thinks the problem is sensors, they will not carry the responsibility, although it is within the warranty.
We have tried everything. Moving the wire, moving the charging station, changing moving patterns, reset the machine, reset the charger. Nothing will get it to work.
I have requested to return it and then get my money back, but they will not offer it (even though I am entitled to it in Denmark by law).
I have bought a horrible product, and I am experiencing horrible customer service!
Don't buy Robomow - I will for sure not. I will now scrap mine and buy another working brand. It is cheaper than contacting my lawyer unfortunately.
