It works well now, but there were some faulty parts. First, it came in some flimsy packaging that got torn up and even damaged the box (see picture). Then, it was supposed to come with two 12 mm screws for the part that gets rotated by the string, but one was 12 and one was 10 mm, so I had to do some mental gymnastics to make it work. It worked a bit faulty for a while because of that problem but I fixed it now. Then, the minute hand and the second hand were able to get on the clock easily but the hour hand was just slightly too narrow and couldn't get on, so I had to try to use one of the tools to make the hole wider without bending or breaking it which wasn't easy. The last major issue was that I had to find my own weights to put inside the weight holder, so I had to look around for a bunch of coins or something, and then make sure it was 300 to 450 grams. The kit does not already come with metal weights, or anything like that.
It's battery powered and doesn't come with a battery, but I guess that makes sense. If it were like a grandfather clock, you would have to adjust the time a lot. The pendulum is just for decoration. But it's nice, and was fun to do. I even painted some parts so the lines could stand out better. I just happened to have a faulty product. I would still recommend it and still love Rokr stuff, but I can't give this one more than 3 stars, there were too many problems.
