Useless service if you need something…

Useless service if you need something more than prescription refill which you can do at any pharmacy.
Waste of the taxpayers money and abuse of the medical system. Had 10 min conversation with advice to go to see someone in person. And MSP paid for that "service". What a shame!

Neglect from a doctor and from admin

The last two visits I had was with the same doctor. The first time he missed the video time by over 1/2 hour and then called in on our phone and it was with a restricted number. I complained about this and then rocket doctor gave me another visit to help to correct that last visit went wrong. Unfortunately this 2nd visit was worse. The same doctor was supposed to read lab results and then prescribe same meds or change or adjust medications. All he said was “everything looks good” and then he said he will call in prescriptions and it’s 4 days now after that and no prescriptions were ever called in. Also I send so many emails asking for help and no one is answering me. I did get one email advising that they received my lab results and I can book and appointment to meet with a doctor. Furthermore the doctor was smiling like if it all was a big joke. I think the founders and admin should look into this kind of behavior from a doctor. I have been using Rocket Doctor for over 3 years now and I had a few good doctors and a few terrible ones I can’t believe they are a doctor and each time I always end feedback to Rocket Doctor now I have had it I will look for another doctor virtual this is really bad. Maybe someone will answer me here and I’ll get help to get my lab results read from a doctor who will not neglect me or make a mockery of me.

This message is not spam I am in contact right now with someone at rocket doctor (Lola) someone called me to apologize and up to today I still didn’t get my prescriptions. This is a real and true accurate review. It was only after I posted this review after sending several emails, texts and call that someone called me and also emailed me.

I paid and booked an appointment on…

Updated review (12/19/25): RocketDoctor called me for the first time 6 days after I paid for my appointment (on 12/18/25), and they only called me after I made my original review here. In this call they booked me for a Doctor's Appointment at 9:10 am ET on December 19th.

Today, I waited for 2 hours on this video appointment while regularly messaging RocketDoctor asking when the Doctor would show up for the appointment. After 2 hours, the doctor called me directly to apologize and to tell me that RocketDoctor had screwed up and booked me outside of his listed availability.

Immediately after my appointment was cancelled, I reported RocketDoctor as a fraudulent business to the Bank of Montreal, I have reported them for Report Cybercrime & Fraud with the Government of Canada, and submitted a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Anyone else who has a similar experience to myself, I encourage you to do the same. This has been one of the worst scams I have ever seen.

Here is my original review from 12/17/25:

I paid and booked an appointment on 12/12. I was texted by RocketDoctor that afternoon saying that they called me but I did not pick up and to reply to them via text with updated availability. They did not call me at all - I checked my call logs. I replied 1 min after to their text saying I’m available now and that I never received a call. I also provided my additional availability in this text.

This was 12/12. It is now 12/17. I have called them 3 times left them 2 voicemail. I have emailed them with no response and I have texted them every day from 12/12 until 12/17. I have not received a single response from any of these attempts to get ahold of them.

I paid for this appointment, and I was not called, AND I have received no communication at all for almost a week now. I also have not received a refund.

I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this experience. I am still currently waiting for a reply to schedule my appointment from them, and I was hoping that if I’m being ignored on all other means of communication that maybe they would actually pay attention to this review and maybe now they’ll finally reply to me and actually schedule my appointment OR refund me completely.

Has been a really terrible and frustrating experience and I wish I had just gone to a walk-in clinic instead.

Appointment canceled without explanation

I had a 7:30 a.m. appointment scheduled and I was waiting at my phone and shortly after 7:00 a.m. I received the text that my appointment had been canceled. There was no explanation why it was canceled.

I wouldn’t recommend

I wouldn’t recommend. The doctor didn’t show up and I waited for an hour. I tried calling their phone number and it was only voice automated with no ability to talk to anyone. I also emailed and no response. I had no follow up and no attempt at reimbursement .

Waste of time

Any time I use this “service” it’s a complete waste of time. Can’t imagine what health problems could actually be treated by using this. Even a paper cut would have the recommendation to go see a surgeon. Just quick money for doctors that they have to do nothing for… Great job solving the health care crisis in Canada 👍🏻

Doctor decided to chat because the audio video was not working. The chat transcript was never sent to my email. This company is a scam and most likely they are stealing your personal information. So I advise you to stay away from them.

Bad experience

1. They confirmed appointment at a certain time and noone showed up and didnt even send me an explanation. When next day we talked they said they were already out of the office when doctor cancelled the appointment so they couldnt notify me because they were already out of office. At it was only 3:50 PM.
2. they cancelled appointment because we are in quebec and we need to have ontario address for appointment
3. I said how is this a problem, we live on the border with ontario and can go to ontario doctors with no issues, and how do you expect me to provide ontario address suddenly, she said ill process refund and just hung up, no further explanation and very rude
4. when I booked the appointment I clearly put my Quebec address so the system allowed it and they confirmed the appointment.

I recently had a not so good experience…

I recently had a not so good experience with Rocket Doctor, the doctor I was booked was a “no-show” after waiting on video for a long time and never receiving a cancellation until well after the appointment time I was disappointed to find out that I was charged $38.41? When I called them on this they could not offer an appointment until the following week, I was able to get an appointment with alternate doctor platform in B C, right away.I have used Rocket Doctor for a long time and never had any issues but I believe things have changed and l most definitely disappointed with this experience not to mention the principle of this issue.

Rocket Doctor is very supportive on issues

Rocket Doctor is very supportive on issues. Prescription fax sent by Rocket to London Drugs was disappeared in the pharmacy. I sent email to Rocket Doctor seeking for assistance. They immediately resend fax to London Drugs again. When pharmacy is busy, the prescription may get lot in the store. Fortunately, Rocket Docket is happy to help me.

I made an appointment with rocket doc

I made an appointment with rocket doc. for a health issue and they prescribed me medication... the doctor said he would write me a requisition form to get my issue scanned after I confirmed with my provincial health care that it would be ok to do so and to call back rocket doc.... after I called them back I was left on an email chase for 4 weeks and when they finally called me they said I would have to pay to book a new appointment for the requisition. I would not recommend them because they could not follow up on their promise nor was it in a timely manner, I never got to speak with the doctor again. It was also alarming that it took a month.

Absolutely horrendous service

Absolutely horrendous service. I booked an appointment for 8:30am, I waited an hour for a Dr. Daniel but he didn't show up. I emailed support immediately after and they didn't respond until 6pm, over 8 hours later. What a joke of a business..beware unless you want your time wasted!

They said they'd follow up for a fracture. No follow up, when I called and insisted, they booked me an appointment that was also a no show. Definitely going with Telus/maple going forward. HORRIBLE

Great Doctors and Time is convinient

Dr. Matthew Galas provided an exceptional experience during my visit. He took the time to listen to my concerns, which made me feel valued and understood. It was evident that he genuinely cares for his patients and their well-being. Dr. Galas also offered insightful advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including practical tips that I could easily incorporate into my daily routine.
I also spoke to Dr. Zaid Haddad, who is an excellent doctor.
I highly recommend Rocket Doctor for its remarkable convenience. The ability to book appointments on the same day is a game-changer, especially in today’s fast-paced world. Additionally, the patient coordinators are efficient and responsive, making the entire process seamless and hassle-free. Life Line

After relocating to a rural area of Central British Columbia, the Rocket Doctor is a practical and effective way to get some relief from having to speak with a doctor, particularly when it comes to renewing prescriptions or speaking in consultation.For people like me who will keep using this service until a family doctor becomes available, I would heartily recommend it.

Immediate response

I received an almost immediate telephone call after submitting paper work online. An appointment was set up immediately with a doctor. Dr. Griffiths called 10 minutes ahead of set up appt. time, the same morning. Blood work requistion and pill prescriptions were forwarded immediately to pharmacy and LifeLabs in Nanaimo. Very impressed and happy that I connected with Rocket Doctor.

I love this service

I love this service! I have used it multiple times this year. I couldn’t get into my family for 7 weeks! I was able to call Rocket Dr and get what I needed the same day. They can help with refills and diagnostics. I felt listened to. When you aren’t feeling well the last thing you want to do is sit in a walk-in clinic for hours. All of these Doctors online have been incredible. I highly recommend this to everyone!

Rocket Dr is user friendly

Rocket Dr is user friendly, even for a senior who does not have a lot of technical knowledge. Having a caring Doctor at your fingertips, and on the same day I requested an appointment, I was impressed. I’ve spent hours sitting in hospital waiting room to see emergency Doctors. This was a positive experience. Highly recommended.
