my son plays your car rocket game. i have had to throw him out because he keeps smashing controllers and bringing up musty flicks at the dinner table instead of job applications. he keeps telling me the dole is a temporary thing before he "locks in fr brotato chip". he is on his 23rd gap year. help.

Crooked judgement on banning makes it impossible to play this game with a little joy. It is almost as they want you to get banned on a regular basis, as your teammate(s) decide(s) when u can leave a game without a penalty.

I have played over 8,800 matches on this platform. Speaking from experience, the game is fun but the match making is horrible... especially the competitive matches making.

The reporting system is complete trash; you face penalties for people leaving false reports, you get penalized for accurate reports (even when notifying of the server). The system rewards you with unfair match-ups, horrible ping/lag that lasts the whole match (or kicks in at pivotal times of the match).

...and the bots are not that great either.

Nice but I kinda suck, controls are crazy to learn, i basically never play online but ofline, I like it.

wtf is wrong with this game... bootleg servers which don't register hits and usually are region matchplaced, a matchmaking consisting with both overskilled players and useless teammates who don't know anything about the game (in diamond and plat 3 btw so no casual matchmaking), toxic players who leave or comment after just 1 goal taken from their mistakes, inters who just wnat to derank and a report sistem who barelly flags griefers and boosted players. please fix because rocket league is a good game with a lot of potential to be one of the fairest in terms of ranked.

The teamate ranking system is so bad i get parried up with people who are much worse than me. I get stuck in diffrent ranks because my teamates are no help. I am plat2 but should be diamond. I am tired of losing because my teamates are bad. They are even afk at most times.

this game is biased it, the opponents get pinches from the other side by just driving into me, knulla er you guys

as a mechanical diamond player

- daimond rank is just SHIT. one game people play like champ 1/2 and other game people play like plat 1/2, and this is all cuz of psyonix S3 patch where they "Adjusted MMR thresholds" cuz of "underpopulation" in Diamond , so they are letting basically anyone to diamond...

-in every match atleast one person is toxic

- 5min ban for leaving the game is too little

- DDOS hacks are problem

-Trading gone

- people dont treat competetive like competetive but more like casual

The matchmaking is horrible and hackers are everywhere.

I use to adore this game, and in some regard sill do but sadly it just isn't in a good place anymore. Primary issues for me are the atrocious servers. It's very rare to have a good one anymore, and nowadays a good one is one that only sometimes lags. I personally don't care much about the matchmaking issues people mention. You eventually learn to adapt and cover teammates or you don't and you blame the queue so for me it's a non issue. The cheating in this game has become a real problem, with DOSers/Lagwsitchers, invisible car glitches, bounce readers, etc. It makes it wholly unenjoyable when you run into these and they don;t seem to be doing anything about them this time around. Lastly, the support is my final gripe. Epic Games has without a doubt the worst customer support I have ever come across. I'm a network engineer for a living, so I ran captures of network traffic, game logs, video replays, and routing hop oddities and presented all the data to them to identify the areas the connections were having issues (at least for me) and their support took weeks to get to someone they said could assist from Network team, only to have them close the ticket without a response. Upon opening a new one citing the original ticket number, they said "we'll let staff know" and closed the ticket again. It's truly an embarrasment of a company. It's blatantly clear that all they care about is making money. They put as little effort as possible into the game to keep it afloat and to where silly people will buy the re-hashed items from their overpriced shop.

Truly, such a shame. 6,000 hours over the last ~10 years, top 2% in the world across the ranked playlsits, and yet this is what I've got to show for it. Talk about wasted time.

This is a good game that I loved when i was younger but the fact it is owned by epic games and is a multi-billion dollar company and still has issues with it servers. for several season and with this issue and how competitive this game is just sad. instead of spending more time on cosmetics that are recycled spend more time and money for better servers.

game has absolutely huge amount of potential but the matchmaking is absolutely treacherous i play with someone who can lix jump and musty very good player then i play with someone who cant hit the ball properly or is afk... then throw in smurfs on the other team and its completely un-playable. do not recommend this game for anyone unless you are playing offline wich no one does anymore

just got banned for ´´leaving a game´´ that i got a connection error in.. i didnt leave anything, maybe fix your servers?
Also its super smart that you can hold people hostage in a game.. just dont ff and greif for 5 minutes

It’s a good idea of a game but it’s been made horribly, the controls and camera angles are awful and feel bad to use. It’s just a poorly made game in general.

rocket league used to be fun then they took away everything that makes it fun

Psyonix, how does it feel to sell a game to an company that kick all your love in the trash? Ranking system is trash as f***, all day long smurfs, boosting and so on. Nobody cares, the main thing is that the money flows with poorly made items made without love. Server lags are nearly daly normal.

Filthiest trash game I ever played. There is literally 1% of time where you can have fun before server issues and lags catch up to you. You have an intense 1v1 only to lose cause of game glitches or errors of unique touches that dont show in the replay obviously cause what your screen sees is not what the server sees. There is literally no way to not get annoyed in this game with this being a basic problem, since I also expierenced the server not ignoring input from higher ping players but also ignoring mine and taking theirs even though their latency is +100. Players and developers can tell me all kinds of bs they want but they literally dont give a f4ck about this game and if updates destroy the game with new lagflips that happen like 3-4 times each game and after like 0,5 sec after the flip where your car literally crashes out in any direction to mess up whatever you were trying to do. If you flip into opponents in weird positions there is like a 90% guarantee that this happens and then it depends on luck. Yesterday I had this happen 6 times in one game where ofcourse only my opponent profited from it and I got blown away for no reason, so I have to read 'what a save' quickchats because this game doesnt function. Hopefully the whole company goes bankrupt and every developer responsible for this never finds another job in the gaming industry.

Honestly this game could be fun, but with all the smurfs, toxicity, and straight horrible matchmaking, this game is infuriating, I almost never play someone my level, and when I do, there tm8 is smurfing. EPIC GAME PLEASE FIX THIS. everyone hates the way this game is now, i can never get into a game without the whole lobby being toxic.
