They will seem great at first, but just wait... You will be really sorry. I'd give actual details, but I fear retaliation... so just keep that in mind. I will be moving my mortgage as soon as I can get a decent deal from a different lender. If you get a mortgage from a different lender, make sure you sign the document keeping your mortgage company from selling it or you may end up with these people.

Edited to add, note the reply... Unable to find a mortgage under the name listed. Well they aren't unable to find it when they want a payment and it's under the EXACT name, so what does that tell you about how they run their business??? Let their own reply be your guide. Just another shining example of this company's incompetence. Also, just know (even when they tell you they won't) they will sell your information to every scammy home related "insurance", and loan companies and your voicemail will be continuously full of messages.. They took over our mortgage and have jacked up our insurance, not paid what they were supposed to, and then charged us an additonal $3K plus for their crappy insurance coverage. Avoid this terrible company at all costs. We will likely just pay off the remainder of mortgage to prevent them from making any money on interest - GFYS.

Ease of use. Knowledgeable staff at all steps.

A few months after talking with them, (probably mad that I didnt go with them) they pulled a hard credit check withought my consent just before my mortgage renewal (that I had to get a nother hard credit check for) to try and screw me.

Just giving you my opinion and what happened to me.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end.

Run. Run the other way. Terrible experience. Easiest sale in the world - handed to them on a platter. From a family, to a family member. With previous paperwork and legal processes already completed and not only could they not complete the process, they came to us 2 weeks before closing that they would have to start over because they processed the wrong kind of funding. Thousands put into appraisals, inspections and deposits and they can’t get it closed. Just run. Don’t fall for reviews that are paid for - talk to realtors and people on the ground. They told us to run when we told them who had made us the first offer. We didn’t listen and should have. Just run.

Overpaid mortgage on 3/10, was told payment would be applied 4/10, yet another payment was drawn from account. Tried to get help. Told nothing they could do. This is theft, plain and simple. Impossible to speak to a human. I hate this company.

Several weeks in a row I continue having issues logging into my account. Stay away from this company if possible!

The application process for this relatively minor home improvement loan was ridiculously time-consuming, tedious and duplicative. For well-known, long-time Rocket Mortgage customers with solid gold credit history and ratings (and large home equity), it should have been fast and easy. Instead, even after submitting our signed 2025 tax returns with all 2025 income specified on them, we were also required to submit 1099s to verify every single one -- redundant, ridiculous and unnecessary! Then, when I provided exact loan amounts, payment amounts and loan numbers of two recent (short-term) personal loans and an auto loan, I was also required to provide documentation to verify those numbers I had just provided...all as if we were unknown new customers not to be trusted. Finally, during the closing, we were required to submit photos of our drivers' licenses, then to hold them up on camera, THEN to read the license numbers to the closer. Was one showing somehow legally insufficient? Again, the system should not treat long-term, well-known, proven highly responsible customers as if they are new, unknown and distrusted. The good news was that once we were finally approved, we were able to close online, and that the money arrived very quickly.

The worst, worst, worst refinancing experience ever ! The most incompetent group of people who should all be working elsewhere! This goes all the way to the underwriters! We did ALL OF THE HEAVY LIFTING by providing all requisite documentation and they still screwed it up!!!! I would not wish this nightmare of an experience on my worst enemy!!! Not one person that we dealt with had the competency level to work in this field …. Period! A group of bumbling incompetent team members who pass the buck because they have no earthly idea what they are doing. They can’t even transpose verbiage presented on a word document to a closing signature block correctly….. go for a root canal without novocaine before dealing with this sub par incompetent company
